After a patio addition, my backyard was completely destroyed but Green Springs stepped in and fixed everything and more in less than 2 days. Not only did they have great communication and updated me with every step, but they also went above and beyond and did more work than I expected. I'm extremely pleased with how my backyard turned out and they did it at almost half the cost of some of the other quotes I received. If you are looking for exceptional work that is affordable, I would highly recommend Green Springs! Will definitely continue to work with them for any landscaping projects I have come up.

I had a bad soil erosion problem around the foundation of my house and needed a retaining wall built. Leo came out and discussed ideas on how to build the wall and beautify my yard. It doesn't even look like the same house anymore. The pricing was fair and the construction quality was top notch. Leo the owner was there everyday to personally supervise and work on the project. He even showed up on Saturday to finish the punch list items. I will need to have a retaining wall rebuilt in my back yard in the future. Leo and crew will be my first call. I will be using him for all of my future projects.

Living Wild - Didn't even bother to move the gutter catches. Or put mulch down.

Abby came out and did our front of our house. If you are looking for an overpriced low quality job…read moreLiving Wild is for you. I came home from work after the install and found a lot of the plants were basically dead(see photos). I called Abby that day to complain and she insinuated I had not watered them. It hadn't even been 6 hours. She said she would bring replacements and never showed up after several weeks. I had put down some gutter catches the day before the install and she didn't even bother moving them. She just threw mulch around them and in them(see pictures). She did no work to level or prepare the area. All they did was throw down cardboard and put up metal 4 inch green boarder, didn't even do that well(see pictures), she threw 1 inch of mulch on top. Not even a week went by and grass was growing on the edges and where the seams of the card board were placed. You could see card board around the edges. I complained and She told me to go buy landscaping vinegar to kill the grass. I had planted two redbuds in the bed area months before we had this done , she did not even bother weed around them, It took me two minutes to do. All they did was throw mulch around them like every thing else. I wanted a professional job but ended up with a very amateur job that I could have done myself for 1/4 the price. Her markup is ridiculous. She tried to overcharged me for the 4 inch green boarder and mulch. $1100 for 3 yards of mulch and eleven 4 inch x 8 foot border strips which sell for $24 pieces. Mulch cost $90 for 3 yards and 11 strips of metal boarder is $264. Do the math. She prices her job for perfection but did not deliver. She adjusted the price but it was still a 2.375 times markup. 20% is typical not 237.5%. She also did not bring all the plants. She said they did not have bee balm. Her solution was to offer me seeds. I did not pay for seeds. I found live plants on Amazon. I had them in two days and they looked better than what she planted. Also, she did not check the lighting of the area. the main area in front of the porch is shaded all day . Most of the plants did not do well in shade. Find another company! I now have to fix all her mistakes.

We practice an earth-friendly approach to bring you and your family the freshest, hyper-local, farm to table, nutrient dense and delicious food imaginable! We can also design for farms and ranches who want to migrate to a more sustainable and ecological approach without losing any productivity. We love to design for institutions such as government agencies, schools and churches. Whatever your need with edible landscaping and permaculture design, we are here to partner with you to make your dreams into a reality. WHAT WE DON'T DO: Texas Edible Landscapes is a DESIGN company. We design edible and/or habitat gardens. We do not simply redo flower beds, deliver mulch, or prune trees (unless they're fruit trees). We do not install or repair sprinkler systems unless it's part of the design for your EDIBLE landscape. We are not your average landscape company. Again, we are a design and consulting company that will install for you if you wish AFTER the design is complete. I hope this clears things up so I don't waste your time. Thanks!
