The sweet potato chips are so freaking good, and I go between the Buffalo chicken sandwich, the Smashburger, and their seasonal Turkey or Lobster roll when it comes out. Dine in experience is super casual, 9 out of 10 times I just get carryout.

Workers were there, but I think the orientation of the counter is such that someone working at the grill can't see people walking in. There's no sound (ringing bell, buzzer, whatever) and they couldn't see us come in. Whatever - it didn't make us feel particularly welcome. I notice a couple of other reviews mention the same thing. Seems like an easy fix. Anyway, we ordered a Philly Mushroom with old bay chips/drink and a Chicken Club with sweet potato chips/drink. We were given a table flag and we sat outside. Food came a few minutes later. Looked and tasted very good. The bread on the Club was nicely toasted, the aeoli was tasty and not too heavy and the chicken (decent portion) was pretty moist. My partner enjoyed the Philly Mushroom. Unfortunately, my partner received regular chips instead of Old Bay they requested. They don't like to complain, so they basically left them uneaten. I liked the sweet potato chips - really crisp with a good flavor. Nice size pickle wedge came with each sandwich. Very pleasant seating area outside. Fountain soda available with free refills.

"My daughter, S A M," Shaw signs back, "playing guitar," as he makes hand motions. "Being able to hear that." "You don't need to. Every spring, I go to the Boston Pops." "Why?" Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

Eataliano is tucked right…read moreinto the Phelps Luck neighborhood, not far from Route 108 (Old Annapolis Road) and Columbia Palace Plaza. I had heard there could be a bit of a wait, which isn't surprising since this well-established market and deli draws not only local residents but also people from nearby businesses. I happened to be about 15 minutes away, so I placed my order through their website. By the time I arrived, I must have missed the lunch rush--there was no line, and it took just a couple more minutes for everything to be wrapped, packaged, and ready to go. The market itself is intriguing and packed with all sorts of house-made specialties and popular Italian brands. There were also plenty of brands I had never heard of, giving the place the feel of a little Italian countryside market. I can only dream of traveling to Italy someday, so for now, I'll happily get a little taste of Italy here! Parking: As mentioned, parking is very limited. The street alongside the shop was also undergoing some sort of construction during my visit, so be prepared for some roadside limitations. There is a small, intimate dining area with room for only about four tables, but I loved seeing the white-tablecloth treatment. It added such a warm and welcoming touch to what is otherwise a very busy little establishment. The staff were busy but friendly. With the back-of-house operation appearing to be quite busy and working within tight quarters, it was impressive to see how well everyone seemed to coordinate and make the most of the available space. What We Tried Eataliano Crab Roll -- A specialty my daughter had told me about after seeing it on TikTok, and now I understand why! Generously filled with a tender, tasty blend of lump crab meat and fillers. Definitely shareable--but only with your favorite people! 10" Margherita Pie -- A NY-style thin crust topped with fresh ingredients, including tomato sauce, house-made mozzarella, and whole basil leaves. Simple, fresh, and delicious. French Fries -- Crispy and crunchy, just as ordered. Sometimes you just need a good order of fries! Greek Salad -- A generous portion loaded with fresh ingredients: feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, Kalamata olives, carrots, green peppers, and pepperoncini. Fresh, colorful, and plenty to share. Overall, Eataliano is exactly the kind of neighborhood gem I love discovering. Between the market, deli, prepared foods, and cozy little dining area, there's plenty to come back and explore. Definitely worth a visit--and I'm already wondering what I should try next!

Driving through the area, looking for a place to eat…read more We're fans of shawarma and Mediterranean food and found the place on Yelp. Online, the restaurant boasts a pretty extensive menu, including sandwiches, kabobs, platters, lamb chops, salads, soup and a variety of dips. In house, though, the menu posted at the counter is more limited - shawarma, kabobs, platters, sandwiches and a few dips. We ordered from the in-house menu. I got the falafel wrap. It comes with a small cup of tahini and a few pieces of cucumber and lemon wedge. The whole thing was great. The pita was soft, but not chewy. The falafel was some of the best I've ever had in terms of texture and taste. The other ingredients - onion, parsley, tahini - enhanced and didn't overpower the rest of it. Really good. I recommend the falafel. My partner got the chicken shawarma wrap with a side of fries. Overall, the wrap was good but the chicken was a little dry. The fries were good and a nice portion for $2. The wrap came with cups of sauces - one was mayonnaise-based and the other yogurt-based. My partner wasn't impressed with either one. Sitting inside is comfortable. Nice tables and comfortable, classy faux-leather black chairs. Music appropriate to the restaurant theme playing from the ceiling. The restaurant is small (4 tables plus outdoor seating) is located at the very end of a long strip mall. A little hard to find. My impression is that this is more of a takeout place. The restaurant is Halal.
