There was great, relaxing music to listen to which drowned out any other noise- but it wasn't too loud! Since it's a facial, your eyes are closed the whole time- and so is everyone else's- so it actually felt much more private than I expected. They also provide a private changing room and a lockable locker for your belongings, so I was able to change into a robe and feel completely at ease- no need to worry about keeping your shirt on in an open space. Lani was awesome and walked me through every step of the process, explaining what she was doing and how each treatment would benefit my skin, but I never once felt bothered or pulled out of my relaxed state. It was honestly the most gentle facial I have ever had. While the masks were setting, she massaged my hands and shoulders, which was a lovely touch that really elevated the whole experience. I did get a little chilly, but that is entirely on me- I run cold! Next time I will just ask for an extra blanket! This kind of care and attention made the whole experience feel truly personalized.
