I would come here for all my exotic Wines & Liquors back in the day before Stew Leonard's. Stopping in again today I noticed there was a different ownership. Everyone was very courteous and friendly, but I did have to pull the young man off of his phone. I guess, I just was missing the old place that was in my mind here from years ago. I will need to stop back again in the near future and give it a more thorough look. The design inside the liquor store seems to be modern and contemporary, many cute decorations and knick-knacks involving wine and spirits also available. I am so happy as I am throwing a big holiday party in a few days, so I was looking for some special items. I found that The Dom Perignon was priced $20 over Stew Leonard's & The Monet Imperial White Star brute just a few dollars higher too. No worries let's get some of my favorite Chianti. Which is the Ruffino classical Dora Duca. You've only one bottle left? And the fancy tissue paper has been torn off of it. The fancy tissue paper is a big part of the step up in price from the tan label. At $3 above Stew Leonard's price, I noticed it was a 2012 Chianti. I'm getting the 2010 currently from my local spot, It's a bit smoother but more pricey. I missed the old Gentleman who would help me many years ago and I almost felt out of place here. I purchased my single bottle of Ruffino Chianti and made my way out the door I will be stopping back armed with current prices to do a more proper comparison. As compared with other small liquor shops this establishment does have a wide variety. And these nice folks cannot be faulted that they cannot buy in bulk like the big box stores. There were three people working in the store and two of them were at the sales counter. Not once while I was in their store did anyone ask me if I needed any assistance. I was searching for a specific Scotch and did not realize that behind the counter they also had another section of scotch. So one would say the store has plenty of inventory, but not necessarily organized the way one could find it easily.
