If you think this is a traditional "Liquor store" with boxes and cases everywhere, erase all that nonsense in your mind. This place was built from the heart, you can tell a labor of love was put into the details. I am not a wine expert, and I don't buy expensive wine, but I love this place. What is interpreted as "condescending" is actually his sense of humor. My wife and I sometimes spend close to an hour in the store, just talking and laughing with Christophe. He also has a small selection of liquor, and he is willing to stock the items that we like. I happened to be in the CVS across the street and saw this out of the corner of my eye so figured I would just hit it up in order to avoid driving down the road to my usual booze retailer. Small mom and pop place in the corner of a small shopping center, it is easy to miss this location. The owners appear to be a husband and wife and apparently do not have a working heater or just decided to make the entire store into a wine cellar and keep the place at 55 degrees... the wife is wearing a parka and gloves and you will too if you spend more than 10 minutes in there. The selection was decent for such a small place - more wine than I expected and all the usual booze essentials - plus a good selection of those little airline sized nips for your alcoholic cousin or uncle to carry around with them. Prices were a little higher than the big liquor outlets but that is too be expected - so really turn the damn heat on and maybe I would have spent more time in there looking for stuff - but I got out in record time as I did not bring my extreme weather gear nor was I looking to experience shrinkage.
