After the project ran 3 months past the original 30 day estimate, I finally wised up and found a reputable firm to take over and finish the job. They just couldn't understand and handle basic concepts involving design and execution. They were unable to hook up a merchant account, which seems 'elemental', given that's what most websites are doing these days: acting as e-commerce outlets. It all began to make sense when my REAL web designer began untangling the web. Turns out, they'd farmed out the work overseas to India! I couldn't understand why they couldn't grasp simple, common-sense concepts I kept trying to convey about the way things should look, visually. Well, now I know it's because they were relaying the information to people who don't speak English as their first language, unbeknownst to me! The "CEO", Matt M., was eager to get my business and spent a good amount of time on the phone with me and followed up to secure the deal. I like when people take initiative, and I liked the price - much lower than I was quoted elsewhere. As they say, you get what you pay for! Boy, did I learn that. And, Cameron, the "Project Manager" (whose job it was, I guess, to tell the guys in India what to do) was reachable via email in the beginning but once it became apparent these guys were clueless and I was asking questions and wanting answers, he was unavailable. He would never take a phone call from me or agree to a phone meeting. I ended up paying 3/4 of the $1500 estimate before I pulled the plug, realizing they had absolutely no clue what they are doing. Save yourself the headache. Don't waste your time or your money. These guys stink.

I would only be on the computer 45 minutes or so before turning the display off to let it cool down. My computer is 17 years old and I put off replacing the fan as long as I could. I called on Wednesday before noon and they picked it up that afternoon. By Friday I had my computer back and it's like it's new again. It has made a world of difference. You can't get any better service for the reasonable charge than Geeks Mobile.

While here to perform the supposed "upgrade," they shut down my computer and disconnected me from my network without telling me in advance. I was working on several documents at the time, all of which were lost and had to be redone because of this bonehead move. When I asked Deon Lee why they did this, he replied that he didn't know that I was here. Didn't know that I was here? I welcomed him at the door and have a glass enclosed office that looks directly into the area where our server closet is located. No honesty at all in my opinion. The "upgrade" has since turned into a disaster. EVERYTHING on my system and network runs slower than it did before Deon Lee Hanson touched anything. Our ability to maintain our workflow is even worse now. I asked Deon Lee for the money back that I paid for the repairs he never performed and the supposed "upgrade" that made my system worse. I needed the money back because now I am going to have to pay another IT firm to come in and fix this utter mess that Geeks Mobile created. Mr. Lee refused to refund my money. I now have to file a lawsuit. Folks, there are plenty of good mobile IT firms out there that are far, far better and more professional than this one. In my opinion, whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are not talented and will not make things right when they mess up.

He spent so much time trying to find me a good deal (and we know that in business, time is money). I was so surprised at the price he was going to charge me that I insisted on maying 33% more (people that go above and beyond deserve to be fairly compensated). I know enough about the computer hardware business (having done it a bit in the 90s) that I can tell he has the highest ethical standards. For those that don't understand troubleshooting and technology, unethical folks could talk circles around clients to take advantage of them. Mark is 100% the opposite of this and is how we want everyone who does work for us to treat us - with integrity and at reasonable prices. Hopefully, in our work this is how we all treat our own clients and employers. If we want to see more good honest workmanship in the world, we need to recognize it when we see it and share it with others... as I am doing here.

I was referred to Myron and Trafelet Accounting by a former CPA of my family's in California to help review and refile a rejected California return that had a very important deadline and attached 1031 FTB forms. I engaged with the Trafelet Accounting firm in May 2026 and had all of my information uploaded by the beginning of June 2026. I was told personally by Myron he would be working on the return that week, in June 2026. Then I heard nothing after that from him and every time I called his assistant Sara Johnson, she promised each time that I would get a call back that week. This went on for weeks and, every time, she would promise an update or a call back in 2 days and then no call back or communication happened. Myron finally called once at the end of Summer and said he was back in the office (his office is in Maricopa and he goes to Payson in the Summers where he says he works from) and would be working on our return that week. Then the silence, and promised updates with no update or call back afterward, returned After almost 2 more months of non communication, I got Myron on the phone today (Sep 18 - a full 3.5 months after having all of my info to him for a simple return review and refiling) and he told me he has a big client in Japan that is taking up all his time and he won't have time to complete my delayed return after all. This was a very drawn out process after already dealing with another CPA that could not complete the job. I only engaged with Myron Trafelet Accounting because he promised he could get the return done and refiled promptly. The fact that he prioritized another client from overseas over a local business owner is also very disappointing. Our return needed maybe one day or less of his time to complete but he couldn't do it. This is a 1 person firm with an admin who is not a CPA or EA - just an answering service from what I can tell. It was very unprofessional of this firm to take on an already delayed return and then just stall it out for months with false promises that it is being worked on. I would definitely not recommend after my experience.
