Unfortunately, my experience this time was far from what I expected, and it left me very disappointed. I came in looking forward to getting my underarms waxed, and my mother accompanied me. In the past, other European Wax Center locations have allowed her to sit quietly in the corner of the room while I received my service. When I asked the employee, Carma, if my mother could come in with me, she immediately said no in a way that came across as rude and unwelcoming. I understand that there may be policies regarding guests, but the way the situation was handled made a poor first impression. Once I was in the room, the atmosphere felt awkward, and I did not feel comfortable. Despite this, I decided to go through with the service. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. Carma burned me twice on my left underarm with the hot wax, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable. On top of that, the waxing itself was poorly done. When I got home, I noticed that there were still numerous hairs left behind, making me question the quality of the service I had just paid for. I find it disappointing that an experience I had been looking forward to turned out this way. Customers should feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable during their appointments, and they should be able to trust that the service is being performed properly and safely. This experience has honestly made me hesitant to return. It is unfortunate because I had positive experiences with European Wax Center in the past, but this visit did not reflect the level of professionalism or quality I expected from the company.
