BEWARE of Richard Rodgers, DDS. He is a horrible dentist. He is not up-to-date on the latest advancements in technology on dentistry. he is about 78-80 years old and it is time for him to retire. He's not friendly and rather rude, but thinks he's funny. He did a horrible job on my crowns and his office staff charge you for services that they did not complete. If you don't pay them, they report you to the credit bureau. This is stealing from customers. Now I understand why they had to partner with another dentist office. Dr. Khattari and his staff delivers the best client experience ever. Dr. K. is very personable, kind and actually extends a warm human touch. Completely rare these days. So many places treat their patients as a number. I had few root canal experiences in the past, and my experience with Dr. Khattari's was by far the best, he took his time making sure he does a perfect job, he was very empathetic anytime I showed discomfort. And I was called by the office later in the day to make sure my ibuprofen was taking care of my pain, and it did. My fiance has been coming here for over 10 years and was always happy with the care he received, so I decided to try this dentistry myself. Everybody was very friendly and took a lot of time to review, examine, and explain. I was happy to hear that I had no cavities and that my teeth are in good shape. Nobody tried to up-sell me on any unnecessary treatments. They run a new patient first visit special that includes the x-rays. I like that you can see your x-rays and colored pictures of your teeth instantly on the screen in front of you and can ask questions about them. The cleaning was very thorough and detail-oriented. The doctor also took time to answer some questions I had about the future dental care of my 18-months-old son. I asked about their out-of-pocket prices for various treatments and they quote the exact $-amount per treatment option - no shady answers that a lot of dentists provide theses days. Nice clean office. Easy to find. Parking available in the back of the building. Ramps for infant stroller available as well. All in all a great and pleasant experience and I will come back for my next check-up/cleaning appointment. read more

I see some negative reviews, but my experience was wonderful. On Friday I broke a tooth. I contacted New Smile in Altamonte and they couldn't see me, so they referred me to Winter Springs. They suggested a "new patient" promo since normally an "emergency" visit would run into the hundreds and a "new patient" special was $58 for an exam and cleaning. The package included X-Rays which I could see on a TV mounted on the wall along with photos of my teeth taken with a wand inside my mouth (very up close and personal). . . All told my teeth and gums were in good shape (so no attempt to sell me stuff I didn't need). The dentist looked at my broken tooth and said she could fill it like a cavity (a bonding) -- $251 instead of trying to sell me an expensive bridge or capped tooth. This is a lengthy procedure so I had to make a follow up appointment, which I had this morning. Dr. Whitehead was my dentist -- a very thorough and gentle dentist. They numbed my mouth with a topical and then gave me numerous injections so I would have no pain. The procedure took over an hour -- and zero pain. The tooth is "as good as new" and feels just like it did before it was broken. Dr. Whitehead did a great job! This is definitely my new dentist. Sorry others had bad experiences, but no one pressured me, tried to sell me things I didn't need, etc. My dental hygienist was Lindsey, also help from Angel. Norma at the desk was very friendly, too. This is the very first negative review I have ever left for a business , I would hate for anyone to not be warned . I received a coupon for a $79 cleaning and x rays . I was told I needed four fillings. I wanted to get a second opinion , so sent a request and stated I would pay the $25 fee to transfer my records . I was told I need to pay $116 in order to send any info to another dentist . The state of Florida allows a fee between $2 and $25 to send records to another dentist . This office is unprofessional and lacks customer service . Looking at the other reviews I'm glad I'm not the only disappointed client . Went to this "supposedly good" dentist place after I moved. Too lazy to drive to my usual one that's far away now. It's my own fault for the laziness. The staffs are friendly. However, they are like salesman dental place lol. I went there for my annually cleaning. I pretty much got all my stuff taken cared of and understand what's going on at my last place. I thought it's going to be a cleaning in and out action. Oh boys. Was I wrong! First of all, my cleaning is fully covered by insurance plan. But not if I did extra some kind of bite down images. Which I was never notify and asked if I want to do the extra stuff that would cost me. They just went ahead did it. I didn't know better at the time. (Find out after a week or two when the bill arrived xD). Anyway, after the cleanup. The dental came in and did some inspection of my teeth. Told me. I need to fill that teeth out. Do crown on some other two. Do that. Fix this. . Some of it, I consulted my previous dental before which is fine. Its some sort of food stained like from coffee. Anyway. I will watch out for this place!! If you go here. Be caution of what they recommended. You may end up spending money for nothing or only making it worst. Got an AD the mail for xrays and cleaning for $58. Dentist Mary Moare DMD had poor English and couldn't understand half of what was saying! After I left I got calls several days in a row to pressure me schedule appointments for a lot of dental cosmetic work costing a few thousands of dollars. Needless to say, I switched to a new dental office (also my new dental insurance does not accept this office). I requested my XRAYs and the office refuses to give them to me unless I pay $100 or more. By law it is illegal for them to refuse, they are mine! I left several messages for a manager to call and got no call back. I will now let the Better Business Bureau and dental association handle the case! What a scam and what a shame! This fancy office obviously needs money to pay for the sleek fancy furniture and brand new dentists. read more

I had a root canal therapy procedure and crown put on tooth #27 at the Winter Springs office in May, 2017. I told the doctor to limit the number of needle injections to numb the gums to as few as possible and she did not honor my request and proceeded to give me about 12 shots.....I thought she would never end sticking me with the needle! About a week after the root canal was performed I returned to have the crown fitted and eventually installed. About 2 months later the crown fell off my tooth and fortunately I did not swallow it. I returned to the office and they recemented it in. About 4 months later it fell off again so I decided this dentist performed shoddy work and went to another dentist. The second dentist I went to said that the New Smile dentist had ground down the tooth too much to the point where there wasn't enough tooth left to attach the new crown and the crown would just continue to fall off. I paid $900 out of my own pocket for that crown that is now it's useless. Now I have to get the tooth rebuilt up with a post in and a new crown to correct the problem. They are the worst !! Called for information and they got their hands on my insurance card and billed me for dental procedures that I never had, I had never set foot in the building !! Because they tied up half my benefits for the year, I was forced to go there to get my root canal and crown done, by the end of the year. They actually had to bring in a freelance dentist to do the root canal because they are not qualified and neither was he. The root canal hack was a horror show and was not allowed to use nitrous because he was so unskilled, my mouth hurt for weeks after like someone beat me up. They completed the crown and my mouth hurts worse than before the root canal. I went to a real dentist and found the hack did not complete the root canal correctly so now I have to have it done again !! They are butchers that should not be allowed to rip off patients and their insurance companies !! read more

Dr Moarechipour told me that stains on my teeth were cavities. She is unethical. I have had cleanings every 6 months my whole life I have only had one cavity so to be told on a routine cleaning while trying to establish as a new patient after moving to altamonte that I had 6 cavities in one session was unheard of to me. I went to a different dentist and it was confirmed I did not have any. It was my first time not having insurance and she showed me stains on my teeth from drinking coffee and told me they were cavities. My sister in law is a in dental and so is my mother this didn't make sense to me and so I went to another dentist and was thoroughly examined. I think she was trying to take advantage of the fact I was uninsured and do fraudulent work on my teeth. She also was rude and uncaring when delivering the shocking news. She needs to learn how to care and the difference between a stain and a cavity. read more

Let me start off by saying that the wait staff and person answering the phone calls was very helpful, but when I got there I found out my appointment had been double booked and that I was either going to have to wait 3 hours or reschedule an appointment 2 months down the road. I left LIVID... I have been experiencing severe tooth pain and was looking to get it taken care of before I go on a business trip out of the country. We drove all the way from Titusville to this practice to address the tooth pain that my husband was dealing with. Welcomed into a very nice practice, every nice staff and welcomed back into the room. The dental assistant was very helpful at explaining what she would be doing by taking pictures and x rays. My husband explained that the back upper tooth was throbbing and the root of all pain. The Dentist finally came in and explained to us what she recommended and the best course of treatment. She addressed the tooth and told us that there was nothing wrong with that tooth and did not need to be extracted. She told us that there was 2 other teeth that was causing the pain and that she wanted to do two additional x rays to see if there was an infection inside. When we found that the overall price just for tooth pain was over $8,000 that was just straight non sense and to believe over priced. We had agreed that we would be extracting the two tooth that we thought was the problem. So we agreed and numbed him and proceeded. Numbed him up good and the female dentist came in and did what she needed to extract both teeth. We said thank you after the procedure was done and went on our way. When we arrived home he was still numb and took the antibiotic per the request of her. After about 3 hrs when the novicane wore off, we was saying that he was still hurting pretty bad. The pain that he was telling me was still coming from the same area and that tooth that was pulled was "not" the issue. So now after him taking the pain medication, there is still an issue with the same tooth that he had asked to have her pull. Per the request him she did not hear him out and we are now to believe that she only wanted our money and did not listen to the patient. We now have to seek another dentist to have the tooth readdressed and hopefully take care of the original issue. In our personal opinon WE WILL NOT BE BACK! Yes professional, but lacking the understanding of the patients request. Do not come here!!! read more
