I found my way to Family First Hypnosis with one question: "How do I let go of a painful past?" The…read morememories still hurt. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to move forward. Leading up to working with Celeste, I was carrying a bag of stones on my back. Celeste helped me understand that I wasn't just carrying that weight emotionally, my body was feeling it too. I was exhausted, overweight and depressed. She explained that every regret, betrayal, heartbreak, guilt, and painful memory we refuse to release can become another stone in that bag. My therapy revolved around .. how do I finally put the bag down? Hypnosis therapy, after a few sessions .. I began to see my pain was real. What happened mattered. But I didn't have to keep carrying it every single day. Celeste gave me a custom hypnosis mantra that has helped me stay grounded and stable. What I got out of this experience was a reset button. She definitely changed something inside me. This I know because I'm writing this review four years after our last session. Today, I accept what cannot be changed. Learned what must be learned. Put down the weight I was never meant to carry for the rest of my life. I'm rested, at peace with my life and I've lost 60lbs. For me, letting go didn't mean forgetting, excusing, or endlessly hashing it out until somehow the ending changed. It meant accepting that the past cannot be rewritten but the rest of my story can. It's about no longer allowing what happened to define who I am or what I deserved in this life. Thank you, Celeste. I will forever be grateful for the way you helped me through the most painful experience of my life. Your gift helped me turn that pain into purpose and ultimately gave me the strength to start a support group. You saved my marriage and the friendships I almost lost because of my relentless desire to stay angry. I write this review to help those of you who are on the fence about this type of therapy. I encourage you to meet Celeste for a consultation ... and then decide for yourself if her program is the right choice for your situation. Peace be with you...

Celeste quickly peeled back the layers to understand what was holding me back, and delved into my subconscious memories to resolve my perfectionism. She is kind, empathetic, and authentic, and regularly re-calibrated how committed I was to the process, how I was feeling about progress, and what we still needed to work on - with a genuine care for my growth and well-being, and never a hint of an upsell from what was discussed on day 1. I can honestly say I have a deeper trust in my inner self and feel like this unlocked a peace that I couldn't have reached on my own.

Since my very first session, I have healed and flourished in ways I never imagined I could. I initially resorted to hypnosis simply as a means to lose weight, as I have had a pretty rough 5 years. However, the 30 pounds I have lost and kept off over Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE now feel like the most insignificant changes in myself, considering all the other major pieces I have put into motion. It is not possible, unless I write a short-story of my own, to put into a simple review how many ways Cal has helped me find my purpose. The 7th-path self-hypnosis he created has changed my life, and is now a regular and favorite part of my daily routine. Cal's quick-read book "The Secret Language of Feelings" provides easy tools to process every possible feeling. Most important to me, after more than 35 years of suffering from extreme OCD, hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in therapy, medications, etc., I can say that I am absolutely FREE from these triggers, and the feeling is incredible. I'm not done with this program yet, and I will happily choose to continue this practice every single day, but the effects in only 3-short months are simply incredible. I know the sky is the limit with the tools I have been given, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the "me" I was always meant to be.
