They run your insurance for different things then you've actually gone in for (I think to make more money from the insurance). I've been prescribed things or had the mail away pharmacy (that they push you to use) lose my prescription only to be told I'd have to come in and pay another copay just to get the issue resolved. Most recently I got blood work done for them. they called me, told me their was an issue, and when I pushed for specifics they wouldn't tell me. They refused to send me my blood work and when I asked my medical records be sent to my new dermatologist they hung up on me. The lab (which they pushed me to use, in the same building) doesn't appear on the directory for the building, doesn't come up online and doesn't have any associated phone numbers. They don't do refills on any medications (according to him) which seemed really odd at first because other dermatologists I've had have no problems putting refills on antibiotics. the he convinced me to use this mail-away pharmacy which often takes two or more weeks to get my prescription (so by the time i go in, get a refill and receive it, I've been off the antibiotic for several weeks and it no longer works. Certainly the worst office I've ever had to deal with. You can't contact them directly, you have to go through their phone system. the operators are okay, but don't really know what they're doing and tend to mess up.There actual staff and supervisors are very rude and transfer you from department to department until you hit someone's answering machine. I've been on hold with them for over an hour. Overall I've been getting the feeling that this is one big insurance scam for over a year. One giant headache after the next with this company.

Extremely poor billing practices. Promised three separate times in our initial "consult" that I…read morewould not be billed more than my co-pay. I scheduled two separate visits after the initial "consult" where I paid my $60 co-pay. For a total of $180 after being told that the insurance company covers two removals per visit for the cost of my co-pay. Then I am billed on the back end for money I was promised by the doctor three times I would not have to pay. While I understand now, that the health insurance ins and outs cannot be known by my doctor. I would hope that my doctor is smart enough (especially if they are doing surgery on me) to be able to say the following words to their possible uninformed patients... "I do not know what the charges would be for this but we can provide you with the coding so you can speak to your insurance provider to get a proper estimate of what you will be billed". They would rather bait and switch a customer by luring them into having procedures done and billing them on the back end. Thanks for this doc, I appreciate you basically stealing money out of my pocket for a non-required "consultation" and then billing me on the back end. Not that I need the money now that I'm having my first child but I'm sure you could use the money more than I do. Run away from this place.

I had been suffering for days saw 2 urgent care doctors who prescribed several medications. they could not get inside the very swollen ear canal so advised an ENT or emer room. obviously getting an same day appointment is unhear of. so emergency room it was Dr Patels office is located inside Centrastate hospital so I didn't have far to go from the er. Dr Patel was wonderful..it was a painful procedure and I tend to be a baby when it comes to pain. he was very understanding and stopped several times so I could compose myself. very understandIng I'm back today for follow-up. One was the antibiotic CEFDINIR. One of the possible side effects from this antibiotic is severe diarrhea, which can be easily found out by googling the antibiotic. After taking this medication for five days, I suffered from severe diarrhea. Those words are in bold face from there I incurred a potentially life-threatening disease called. C-diff. after three months of medication including one relapse and a two month recovery afterwards I am not fine. However, during that time which was so stressful on myself and my wife I lost 16 pounds. Considering I was 80 years old at the time, this nurses practitioner should've realized my immune system cannot handle an antibiotic that strong. my advice to anyone is if you're going to see an ENT make sure you are treated by an ENT and not a wanabe

His patient coordinator, Nicole, is very attentive and really cares about making the patient's experience smooth. His nurse, Karen, is super patient and took the time to talk to me for about an hour on the phone when I was feeling nervous about my procedure. Dr. Rose himself is very professional and has a no-nonsense approach. He did not push additional procedures on me as other docs did. He listened to me, explained risks and recovery process. I started going here bc I had a groupon for laser hair removal. I can't say that I had the greatest luck with the laser hair removal and I am fair skinned with nearly black hair. I did all of my treatments, they were performed by Lee and she is very sweet. I did have pretty significant hair reduction but not quite as good as the results as other places with a different type of laser. However, I have NEVER felt like I was treated any less bc I used a groupon. Since I started going there, and bc it is over an hour drive for me, I started doing botox and fillers to make the drive worthwhile. Based on every conversation I have had with other people, laser & aesthetic medical center offers the best prices. Not only that, but Dr. Singhvi does an amazing job! He takes his time every time I go in there and studies my face to make sure he does what needs to be done with the amount of product he has to work with. He knows I'm on a budget and I only come in when there are specials and that doesn't matter to him. After the the apt the receptionist made me a follow up apt that I canceled and then received another call a few weeks later tell me they will charge me if I didn't keep the appt.i called the office and informed them the I will call the office to make another apt when iam ready.i didn't make one and received a bill in the mail stating that I missed an appt.they also said I made a total of 5 appts ,when I didn't make any but the initial appt and canceled the 2nd one..BEWARE of the way this office schedules appts they will make them and expect to to cancel them or get billed for them. I should of noticed when I called to make the appt they were able to take me when ever I can get there.and the office was empty..i guess other people are aware on this office.
