The last time I ate in was very close to Halloween 2018 and from when we first walked in until we left, it got worse almost by the minute. When we walked in there was no server there at all so we waited at the front & the server came in & out of the kitchen a few times to get things for the only other couple in there, but he completely ignored us. So finally I called out to him telling him we wanted to eat in, he glared at us like we were some how interrupting him. Finally we got him to take our order and that was no easy task. We both had to repeat what we wanted and when I told him it would be all on 1 bill he looked at me like I had two heads and put it on 2 bills anyway. The worst part was that our server was pretty much out of it, I knew he wasn't drunk but his eyes were all bloodshot and it seemed to take everything he had to focus and pay attention to us. He was constantly on his cell phone. I don't know if he was playing a game, texting or on Facebook other people in Pizza Delight also noticed how he seemed not to be with us and to get his attention you had to go over to him, and in a restaurant that small that should not happen. He definitely didn't want to be there and made us not want to be there, I'm pretty sure I won't be eating in there again unless it's new people who own it and I know he doesn't work there. I doubt I'll even get take out from there, I'm a Celiac and he told me that they use the same pans for both and they do not separate the toppings so you think you're eating something that's not going to bother you and after I was finished eating he tells me they don't even bother to put things in simple way and have a pans that are just for Gluten free pizza. By that time I had to walk out quickly or I was going to lose my temper and yell at him when he at least let me know. It's taken me so long to post this review because I thought I already had, maybe it was on another site that I go on where they ask you to review stores, restaurants and products you've tried already.

We both ended up ordering the burger (with gluten free bun); mine with greek salad and hers with caesar. Decent burger, I would get it again. Service was friendly, but the food did take a while, especially for what we ordered. Must have been because of the other side being busy. Washrooms were clean and easy to find. The parking lot is also big with lots of extra large/long spots so if you're pulling a boat or trailer you could stop in with lots of room. We didn't do dessert so I can't speak to that. The patio caters to those golfing and is open to the public. They have an indoor dining restaurant along with two very large outdoor covered patios. They also have an outdoor pizza oven. We were seated at one of the long tables outside which was perfect for your group. It is a fairly typical menu and I opted for the burger (two patties) with fries. The presentation was quite good and I liked that the burgers had a nice sear on the patties. There was no issue with the service and our server was pleasant. My only criticism is that they did not have an IPA on tap, which is a shame with so many local craft breweries in the area. It was a positive dining experience and happy to recommend White Squirrel if in Grand Bend and want a nice meal in a beautiful setting.
