I used to love New Look when I was about 13. Perhaps that's just because I could afford the teenage clothes with my pocket money, but I like to think that back then there was a good range of reasonable quality clothes.
Today there's still a range of types of clothes: coats, jackets, casual dresses, smart dresses, casual fashionwear and a limited range of school/business wear. They do underwear, shoes, jewellery and accessories too, so I certainly can't complain that there's not enough selection.
Except I can. The types of clothes are all there, but they're somehow really similar. They all fall into the Topshop sort of fashion, meaning they change completely every few months and every time I like it even less. Of course a shop needs change, but if you don't like the current casual fashion, don't bother.
If you do: great! The clothes aren't Primark cheap but they're very affordable and they last longer too. The staff are friendly enough and they usually have most sizes in stock. Check out the 915 range for teenagers or smaller sizes - very affordable and less fashion-based than the rest. read more
