Although the shop isn't terribly well laid out , I don't think its any worse than any other Tk Maxx store I've visited. If you are clothes shopping, don't expect to be able to dash in and out , you need to be prepared to rifle through the rails. They have a wide range of products ,including clothes , fragrances , home furnishings and toys. Its worth going in every few weeks as their stock is constantly changing and you can pick up a gem. I have found their ski wear is especially good value

There are a few overcrowded displays, the sale rack is often hard to get to. But they do arrange the displays and clothes racks well, with normal, everyday clothes to one side of the shop, and more glamerous, party type clothes to the other side. There are changing rooms to the back of the store, around 6, although its rare that the very back one can be used as it is always full of clothes rack. The till is in the middle, to the side of the store, and staff are thin on the gorund but they are chatty and helpful. They often have the music turned up a little too loud, but they play good tunes! A nice store, prices can be slightly too high, but they do sell nice stuff.

They have some lovely window displays, and do sell some really nice clothes, and have ranges from everyday t shirts and jean, to glamerous party clothes and underwear. There are a few spacious changing rooms at the bottom of the store. There are two things that put me off Yours. One, is that the prices are too high for me, and two, is the very pushy sales assistant. Within seconds of walking through the door she is by your side, thrusting clothes at you, and urging you to try them on. When I was pregnant last year, I ended up trying on a top and even buying it to wera for a wedding - I wasnt even keen on the top, but she made me feel like I couldnt leave without buying something! Not the best customer service around!

D2 is on the high street of Newmarket. Its a small shop, but very hip and funky, great for the very…read morelatest trends. As its a small branch, it only carries a small range, mainly mens. They do sell a womens line, but this is not as large as a bigger store. Its very well laid out, and clean, and displays are well looked after. If you need any help, staff are always very quick to help, and dont tend to push products on you, they really do try to help. There are always lots of special deals, for instance, buy two pairs of jeans for £25 etc. Prices are reasonable, as most items they sell are either their own D2 label, or designer brands. The shop has good lighting, and music is played at a reasonable level. There are 2 changing rooms to the back of the store, and there are lots of accessories by the till.

Newmarkets branch of Clarks shoe shop is very small compared to other branches…read more The staff are very friendly and know what they are doing, but they dont have the advanced technology in this store as larger stores so measuring childrens feet is still quite a fiddly process. They dont have the newer equipment as the store is too small, so the staff make do. They dont carry a very large range of childrens shoes, my daughter has wide feet so we have to travel 30 minutes to get her school shoes as Newmarket dont carry her width. They do often have a slae rack of shoes outside, and they have a nice but small selection of wmen and mens shoes, but could beneift from larger premises to stock more styles. Its a nice, quiet friendly little shop, but could be improved!
