2 item plate- Jalapeño chicken & orange chicken with Chow Mein & Fried Rice
Darlene P.

My go-to Chinese food for the past 15+ years. Always coming here and bringing family & friends here. Service is quick! There's always seating available inside, clean area.

Fried rice

I think they changed owners it's not the way i remember it . The fried rice was like orzo rice

The food was pretty hooked up if you asked me. Was a little skeptical after seeing a few reviews but Very tasty and fresh. Good service. Will be back

Bowl of chowmaine and 4 broccoli's

The lady that works there daily with glasses she serves like she's serving a baby my bowl literally had 4 broccoli's and it's so expensive. She gets mad when I ask for extra hot sauce also just for a small side of spicy shrimp it's $8 like what it's messed up we get served so little and pay so much. The ex owner would struggle closing my bowl cause he would fill it so much.

Small order of orange chicken

Was curious about this place when I had come to this little plaza to drop off mail at the post office the other day. When I walked in, the worker wanted to help me out right away, but I told her I was just looking. The place reminded me of Panda I ended up getting a small order of orange chicken for about $3.00 instead of getting a small side with rice for about $5.00 since I had some food back at the office. Once I settled down to eat back at my desk, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the orange chicken since it was crunchy and had a good flavor to it. I would definitely consider trying more of their options.

+1 caterpillar lunch date

The orange chicken is dark is dark and chewy, the flavor is not good. Tried a couple of other thing's and did not care for the food at all.

This use to be my go to for my orange chicken. However, these are new owners. Food is not the same. Will not return.

[ FOOD ] They have chow fun!!! So much better than stupid…read morechow mein. The food is good they have everything you can imagine at a chinese fast food and they pack it FAT. Like TOO FAT. The orange chicken was crispy and bomb, although I felt some pieces had more breading than chicken. [ SERVICE ] I had to ask them to STOP packing food it was too much lol. [ PLACE ] In a random low end plaza, the area is janky. Lots of seating inside. [ VERDICT ] Affordable and tasty! This is my new go to chinese fast food that's not generic Panda Express. 5/5

I like instead of just chow mein and rice choices for your sides, they have both of those plus some other options like veggies, and wider type of noodle. They have a selection of Coke products fountain drinks, and several drinks in a cooler that you can choose from. I elected to have a two item tray, I selected the veggies and the wider type noodle. Both were amazingly delicious. For my meats, I selected jalapeño chicken and teriyaki chicken. The portions were large and I was not disappointed at all by the taste of everything. You get plenty of food for a pretty reasonable price. Lots of seating inside, nice AC on a hot day. Customer service is excellent. Never felt rushed when ordering. Any question I ask was answered. Nice little spot for a quick Chinese food. I would be remiss if I didn't mention, they have fresh soups that they will cook and other items as well. You do not have to order from the buffet style tray tables.

The menu has pictures and describes what is included with each noodle dish. The signature noodles I ordered came with crispy pork and beef, and both were delicious. I felt that the soft, tender beef was a perfect contrast to the crispy pork. This was a filling meal, and I also enjoyed the simple soup that came with it. A great option in this area!

This place is a bit confusing, because the exterior is called Zhu Chicken kitchen. Shoutout to all…read morethe Yelpers who took a photo of the exterior of this place. Anyway, if you see Zhu Chicken, you are at the right restaurant! I got a crispy pork rice noodle with pickled bamboo and possibly one other meat. I can't recall. The crispy pork is a must. It's so fatty, but paired with a pickled veggie and that super spicy green sauce from the sauce bar, it was amazing. They give you a vinegar sauce, and you can add as much garlic, cilantro, and hot sauce as you want from the hot sauce bar. I went for a briney, spicy flavor with a ton of garlic and cilantro, and the resulting combination is something I still think about. Rice noodles were nothing special imo. They were soft and slippery, but didn't really soak up the sauce. You just have to get a perfect bite (or in my case gobble) that has all the layers of warm soft noodle, fatty rich meat, and spicy/sour notes from the sauces. I can't really compare this dish to anything, so I highly recommend coming here if you want something unique and bursting with flavor.

The combos are the most popular because you get the most bang for your buck (1 item, 2 items and 3 items). You can also get a la carte or party tray size servings but you need to order ahead for the party trays. Combos are choice of noodles or fried rice or you can do 1/2 and 1/2. I usually get all noodles with double orange chicken (its so good and still crunchy even though its coated in the orange chicken sauce) for 1 combo. The next combos are always all noodles with BBQ pork (very popular dish here), teriyaki chicken, beef with broccoli, green beans chicken. Then I'll get a la carte of the spicy crispy shrimp, egg rolls and crispy crab wonton. These are my go-to to dishes and i dont get all these at once. These are my personal go-to dishes. But honestly, whatever you choose, it'll be good. The turn around for food is quick with new fresh dishes coming out from the kitchen all the time. You can feed a family with the combo meals. Its filling and it won't break the bank.

We've been coming here since the 90's and still love it. Same great genuine service and yummy food. Portions are very generous and do not compare with any other place I've tried. My favorite entree here has been their BBQ Pork and Orange Chicken, but honestly, I've enjoyed all their entrees. They also have party trays available for events. It has always been a great experience at Happy Wok, and I will continue to enjoy my childhood favorite place when in town.

It has since changed ownership and become a Sichuan restaurant, which I was very interested in trying. The interior design hasn't changed much from the former Lu's Garden. The dishes we tried were quite authentic Sichuan style. We ordered the Home Style Pork Feet with Lima Beans ($18.99). The pork feet were very tender and flavorful, and the lima beans added a nice texture. The soup was especially delicious, and the dipping sauce reminded me of what I used to have in Chengdu when I was young. The Twice-Cooked Pork ($16.99) was excellent! the pork wasn't too fatty and was very flavorful, especially with the green peppers. The Chengdu Pork Blood Cubes in Red Pepper Broth ($21.99) were also very good. (I believe the English name may not be accurately translated.) The Sauteed Winter Melon with Chicken Fat ($13.99) was great as well. Overall, Sichuan Sizzling really exceeded my expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the Sichuan-style food. We were satisfied with the fast service as well, and the prices are fair. I will definitely visit again to try other specialty dishes like Fresh Frog in Rattan Pepper Broth with Ginger Sauce and Leatherjacket Fish.
