We love having the best of both the school and homeschool worlds through the university model. We have more time as a family with our kids at home with us and with each other. But they also get to experience the perks of a school community. My kids love being involved in activities such as musical theater, band, archery, science fair, and National Honor Society. My favorite aspect of Providence Academy is the Christian worldview my children have gained through the classical education. God's Word is central to everything they learn in all subjects. Our dedicated teachers work hard to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and diligence in our kids. We're so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Providence in our children's education!

According to Coach Ransom, young children in the stands openly made racist remarks, saying things like, "They love chicken wings... They love watermelon... Look at that runaway..."--and instead of stopping it, the parents around them laughed. Even after the coaching staff brought it to the referees' attention and Rejoice Christian's staff supposedly "addressed" it, these kids continued walking down to the Central team's bench to whisper their vile comments directly into the players' ears. How is this acceptable? How is this "Christian"? Rejoice Christian, where is the Christ-like love you claim to stand for? How do you allow racism to fester in your gym while claiming to be a faith-based institution? The fact that adults in your community found humor in demeaning young Black athletes is a disgrace. This is not a school representing Christ--this is a school enabling racism. To the leadership of Rejoice Christian: What are you doing to address this? What message are you sending to your students, both white and Black? If you are unwilling to hold your community accountable, then your Christianity is nothing more than a hollow title. Jesus stood for love, justice, and dignity--your actions stand for neither. Do better. Be better. Or stop pretending to be Christian. Sincerely, Dr. Rogers

Academics are solid with a great mixture of modern teaching including Chromebooks, interactive, and minimester concentration on well-rounded events and life skills. Sports are easy to participate in and extracurricular activities are plentiful. Students wear full dress - blazers and ties for boys - during the majority of the year. As with any high school, teenage issues are present but my children have not a complaint about their teachers nor their fellow classmates being extraordinary in personality nor perspective. I recommend this school.

Coming from a…read morepublic school into Cascia, which is unlike most of the student body who come usually from Monte Cassino, the smaller class sizes embodies a much more familial experience in comparison to public schools. Not only is it possible to become closer to your classmates, but you become closer to your teachers and much more comfortable to ask for help. Of course, Cascia is known very well for the academics provided here. The academic life at Cascia is no small feat and to be taken very seriously. Despite the difficulty of the academics, we students are not alone and have teachers as well as each other to ask for help and advice. If you are considering going here or you are a parent considering for you're child to go here, be prepared for long nights of homework as this is what going to a College Preparatory school entails. In enduring the classes here, you develop study tools that will be necessary in college. Many students who are not given the same academic experience received at Cascia, are not as prepared for college when the time comes. As well as the academic reputation Cascia is known for, we have an athletic one, too. Dependent upon the sport, Cascia is a 4a/5a school with as vast array of sports for one to "get involved" in, as our coaches so often tell us. Though not a large school, Cascia more than compensates with talent and immensely supportive coaching from the coaching staff. Not only are our coaches supportive of us on the field/court/track/green/etc, but off the field too, seeing as most of our coaches double as teachers as well. We develop close bonds with our coaches that many at a large school do not have the opportunity to develop. And as to be expected from a Catholic school, the religious aspects of Cascia are interwoven throughout our entire high school experience. Four of five mornings out of the week, upper school students attend chapel just before school starts, for announcers, birthday acknowledgments, and prayer. We also pray in school at the beginning and end of everyday (some teachers also pray before class), we embody the Augustinian values of Truth, Unity, and Love, and every student, as a senior, is given the amazing opportunity to attend Kairos. However, it does not matter what religion you are or what beliefs you posses, they WILL BE ACCEPTED AND APPRECIATED at Cascia Hall. Many believe one must be of a Christian faith to belong at our campus, but that is just not true. There is a very wide variety of religions at Cascia and, as I said, each and every one are respected and even encouraged, as Cascia Hall wants us students to grow in whichever belief we have. Naturally, as with any high school experience, there will be ups and downs. However, at Cascia Hall, I can guarantee that someone will be there to cheer you on in the good times and help carry you in the bad.

I was sent to this home around 2012 along with my twin brother. We both hated being there simply because we were away from home. We would've done anything to leave. We even thought about running away. But I can't run away from my problems. Unlike me, my problems never get tired of running. The first day they made it clear who was in charge. I'm glad they did because if they hadn't, kids would probably still think they can talk back and act a certain way and just end up going home exactly the same. Everyday we had a routine. Waking up at 6AM exactly, make your bed 6:10, brush your teeth 6:15, dress up and line up at the door for breakfast 6:45AM. By 7:30 we started school. I hated it so bad lol I wanted to just not move. But they were just teaching us stubborn spoiled kids how to act like adults. Being there we don't appreciate the time because all we think about is going home and doing that thing we missed the most. They don't have iPads there or TVs or concerts. But they have values and family morals, something this world doesn't teach anymore. You're kids will never ask you to send them here. Just like an infant won't ask you to feed her/him. But as a parent or guardian, you know what's best for them. I'm extremely thankful and proud to say I was a boy here and I learned so many things! How to respect, how to be a scholar, how to work hard, how to live for Jesus, and how to honor my mother and father. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've taught me. My face didn't always show it when I was a boy there but I had the best time of my life there with my fellow classmates. I truly love this school.

More importantly, very few who are as tolerant, inclusive, and focused on raising children to honor peace and civility and to appreciate the natural world around them. Montessori is not daycare. It is not even your traditional school. Children at Walnut Farm are empowered to do things for themselves, and to study that which interests them most. In addition to several well appointed Montessori classrooms they also have a few unique features such as an outdoor classroom where children are learning life skills including gardening and caring for animals. The school also has a natural playground with features literally carved from the forested hillside. I see my little boy growing into a confident, warm, caring, and intelligent young man at Walnut Farm. He loves to read and do math. He is fascinated by and in love with every kind of animal. He loves his teachers and his classmates. When kids reach school age, we rely on the school to mold them into the people we want them to be. Schools have the kids from 8 to 3 most days, leaving just 4 or 5 hours with their parents. If they are going to play that big a role in the development of my child... then I feel strongly about choosing a school that not only does a good job educating my child, but also teaches him to grow up tolerant of the many differences in people around the world. They take children from toddlers through around the equivalent of 6th grade.
