When a Service Manager can't see past the sticker on the paint can, that's a sign that someone shouldn't be in that role to begin with. Evidently, when it comes to paint, Home Depot has a "Buy at your own risk" policy. It breaks down like this. "If you buy paint from us, and we don't mix it right, you can't return it because there's a sticker on the can that says so." That is what actually happened tonight. This woman was going to stick to that that sticker like it was stuck to the can. She acted like I as the one who mixed the paint. I had to get really riled with her in order to get my money back. Here's what went down. I pulled out a paint swatch and realized that it was from Lowe's. The girl behind the counter said it would be okay because they could still match it. I said, "Are you sure?". She said yes so I gave her the green light to mix it up. Well, I got it home and after pouring some in the tray, you could see that it was way off. So I took it back. That was when I had this awesome customer service experience from an old pro like Debbie lol. Ultimately, I got my money back but it wasn't without having to verbally throw down over it and the audacious impunity she displayed over this issues certainly shouldn't be overlooked by anyone above her pay grade. Hey Owasso Home Depot, you want to get better reviews? You need to lose managers like Debbie who can't see past a sticker on a can of paint. Check out my fun fact below and make some changes. My wife Samantha was looking for a contractor to build an outdoor kitchen for me and found and interviewed three to four different vendors. Ultimately Chad won our business with a bid that represented the best value and the most aggressive timeline. Chad's subcontractors were all professional and showed up on time. They made recommendations along the way that ultimately cost us a bit more money, but they were well received and well worth it in the end. Chad is an excellent project manager and has good relationships with his subcontractors which is key in getting them to show up nowadays. Chad was frequently on the jobsite checking on progress and ensuring we were happy with each phase of the project. Chad's project management skills are what sets him apart from other contractors in my mind. He plans for each phase of the project and ensures the client is happy before proceeding to the next phase which eliminates surprises, costly redoes, and keeps the project on time. Given the opportunity, my wife and I would certainly consider Chad and Beyond the Backdoor as a frontrunner for another outdoor project. We went here and were unimpressed. The selection was limited. The prices weren't that much cheaper…read morethan Walmart, unless you're buying no name brand canned goods. We were there in October, so we really paid attention to the candy prices. It LOOKs like you're getting a good deal, but you're really not. They're actually just selling smaller bags for the same price as larger bags from Walmart. You really need to check oz per cost to figure out the best deal, which is how we do it.

I will say to be warned that the food items can sometimes be expired, crushed, melted, stale & just old. I threw away 2 things I got last visit due to tasting rancid. There is a random variety of things from linens, pillows, rugs, books, building supplies, even furniture, tools, toys, gardening supplies, cleaning supplies, electronics, clothes, etc, etc. It does seem inconsistent though so what you may have found here one day may not be there the next. Prices seem pretty decent but considering some of the snacks I got ended up right in the trash, maybe the prices can be a bit lower as some items are old stock that bigger box stores and buy outs can't get rid of. Worth a trip to check it out but definitely be mindful on what you throw in your cart.
