This time hubby and I were on a mission: find Lantana for the huge pots around the pool. They had tables of Lantana! Baby plants, just right for planting. Fantastic selection of colors. Happily, we walked out with several flats. I didn't have time to shop although I was constantly distracted by the various offerings; kitchen stuff, home decor, clothing, seasonal, etc. Normally we walk out with more than plants.

I'm wondering if they had recently had a potting event and were short on stock. I thought the prices on the plants were a little high for the quality. They DID have some great gift items and unusual pots (that were still a little $$). It's a vendor spot as well so there are a few booths in the back selling everything from dried veggies and herbs to jewelry and art. I might be back but I was expecting WOW. I got MEH.

The chimineas were all so beautiful--and the smell of a couple of them burning wood was amazing. Totally put us in a fall mood! Inside the shop area, they had a small but varied selection of plants. Much to my pleasant surprise, I actually found an exotic plant that's been on my wishlist for ages--a crocodile fern! I had never actually seen one in person, so of course the moment my eyes landed on it I knew I had to get it. Such an awesome find! The woman at the register was super sweet and made us feel very welcome. This was on Halloween, so it was pretty cool seeing her dressed up and enjoying the day. We left feeling very satisfied (and smelling of wonderful chiminea smoke ). Definitely a gem of a place!
