Picked up a medium size tomato plant for $9.99 and it was healthy as a tomato plant could be. Already, I could see the plant bearing a small green tomato. Giving how healthy the plant is, I expect to have lots of tomatoes in a month or two. The tomato plants from the other garden centers are playing catch up at the moment, about half the size and scrawny looking. Also picked up some zucchini plants for $4.99. This particular one had 4 plants, one more extra. They are smaller than the tomato plant but look very healthy. Again, they are catching up and will be thriving soon. There is only one cashier line at Lowe's Garden Center and the line can be long as a result. I would recommend to use the self check-out inside Lowe's and save yourself time. I came back to grab a lemon tree. It was on clearance for $15, the cheapest at any garden center. I was thrilled with the purchase.
