I enjoy local boutiques and understand you will pay the standard retail rate, unlike going to…read morebigger department stores that can afford discounts. This boutique carries Jellycat stuffed animals, Voluspa candles, and adorable kids clothing. It's beautiful in there. But unfortunately I can't recommend this store due to feeling unwelcomed and judged. Not sure if it was because I'm a minority or because I was casually dressed, but every look from the staff seemed to be a quick scan to my hands and pockets to make sure I'm not stealing anything. It was incredibly uncomfortable and offensive. Which is too bad, since my daughter would have loved that store and I would have loved to purchase a few items there. Oh well, I can find those same items elsewhere and save some money and the hassle.

I want the owner to decorate the whole entire world, because the place just dazzles the eye with beautiful little details, and it just makes me so happy to be here. I try to pop in whenever I'm in Texas Corners, which is one of the shop local hotspots in our area with so many local restaurants, a stellar spa, and great little shops like this. Things can be a little spendy here (Lilly Pulitzer is among the brands they carry for a comparison point), but they have to sales racks right now so it's a great time to find the perfect gift at the right price.

The product quality is top-notch, the artwork exquisitely beautiful, and the business' visibility and reputation in the area is growing quickly. I won a growler at an event the Kalamazoo Public Library hosted during the month it participated in beer-related programs throughout the community earlier this year, and we've been thrilled with how fresh and cold the container keeps the beer and what an awesome conversation piece it is when we attend events with other homebrewers.

I'm in love with pottery. We had to register for this event, and you get a slab of clay ( Shea was kind enough to give as many slabs as we needed!) And Shea showed us how to make couple of pieces, we could also make anything we wanted. Shea was kind enough to help us and even fix our pieces if they had any flaw. The event lasted for 1.5 hours and it was so much fun. I ended up making 3 pieces that I can't wait to see. Overall it was a very unique experience and I loved every bit of it.
