This place is SO fun. The ultimate gift shop, Kalamazoo Candle offers fun goodies as well as great candles. I made my own candle while I was there (like I needed another one) and the experience was so fun. I definitely see myself going back to sample rotating scents and to try new products.

I love this place! They have a great selection of candles, and its really cool inside. The staff is super friendly, and they are more then helpful when you have any questions. But the best part is the candle making. It's a fun experience, and makes for a really cute date. You smell all the scents you can mix, pour it, add wax, and a wick. It doesn't take long, but you have to wait for the candle to dry, so you can explore the mall, or grab a drink. The friendly staff really made my experience great, and it's a unique experience that I can't wait to do again

My mom and I visited the Kalamazoo Candle company to make our own candles and we loved it! The directions were super easy to follow and there were SO many choices so you could make many different candle scents. This would be an awesome spot to take a group for a unique experience. Fair warning: the candles do take an hour to set so plan on spending an hour or so in the area, shopping or eating out. I've been burning my candle for about a week now and it smells great! Fills the room and lasts!

Not any ordinary candle shop! Here you can do more than just stop and smell the candles. I found out they actually have workshops where you can make your own. I am quite curious about making my own candle in a jar. I've made candles by dipping string into hot wax. But that way, we were not able to put our own scents into them. Everyone had to use their own bucket. I found out here that's not the case and you leave with your own customized candle. Besides the string, wax, and scents. The shop has lots of other cool stuff to look at including things to cook with, make crafts out of, and art to put on your wall. I can't wait to take a candle making class and make my own scent. The shop is really cute, clean, and the staff are friendly. If you are curious, pop in and look around like me!

Stopped into the retail store on 166 S Kalamazoo Mall and just fell in love with the store. (Looked for the yelp page for the retail place, no luck). My sister stumbled across the store last month and got hooked on the reusable soap options. So when I came into town she took me there to show me the store. We decided to par take in the candle making activity and we really enjoy it. The employees there are amazing as well and really helpful. It was a fun Friday evening there.

Amazing candles! Great for gifts. Best scent ever!

My favorite candle store in town. Smells great, lots of nice choices and a fun class to make your own candles.

I was looking for some new sage to burn at home and this place popped right up when I searched for sage. The show is super cute! It is small, so perfect place to stop if you do not have a lot of time. I was able to get a sage bundle that was local to Michigan, a new apophyllite stone, and some fun stickers all under $20 dollars I think. So, everything is super affordable! There were two individuals working in there while I was looking around and they both were really helpful. I joked around about one of their stickers that I had to buy. They have several queer stickers so it was nice to feel welcomed there! CHEERS

I was a bit worried what the shop might have to offer, and the lack of parking in the area (side street only and limited to only a few cars) was not a good sign. As soon as I walked through the original double doors to Elements....any negative thought I had vanished. I was immediately greeted by Kate (who also has amazing artwork available for purchase at art hop events) and welcomed into the store. The space is indeed small, but there is so much to offer! Whatever metaphysical or spiritual item you might be in search of, they have it or will consider ordering! I found lots of little Christmas gifts, some birthday gifts and many goodies for myself. I rsally love how there is a printed card for each crystal that you are able to take with you! There are plethora reading materials and quite the assortment of tarot/oracle card decks. The prices are very reasonable, and the space and staff very welcoming...I felt like family on all of my visits. They also offer special classes (times listed on their FB page) and are starting a new event for the first Saturday of each month to showcase local artistry/talents (art, music, crafts). This is my new favorite place to shop for my metaphysical needs!

It is so beautifully laid out I could have spent an hour just being dazzled by the displays. Alas, the thing I wanted to take home the most was part of a display I'm not for sale. You'd be surprised at how often that happens to me. If there's a gemstone lover on your shopping list, make a beeline for this beaut of a boutique. They've got everything from uper affordable small polished gemstones for under $10 on up to gigantic gemstones spheres for $500 or more. There's also a great selection of sage and other smudging implements as well as Is a wide array of incense. The owner was super friendly. Parking can be a pickle in this strip mall since there's so many popular spots here (Chocolatea, Pantry on Tap, Jac's and more), which could cause accessibility issues for folks with limited mobility.
