the receipt for the new kitchen

They will nickel and dime you to death. Check your receipt. The pandemic has some of these businesses acting shady. I asked that they put hot sauce and ketchup on my order. I never asked for extra anything. They are being sneaky. Delivery charge- $2.00 Extra hot sauce- $0.50 Extra hot sauce- $0.50 Extra ketchup- $0.50 Extra ketchup- $0.50 Plus a $2.00 tip (because I did not check the receipt before hand)

They charged me $1 because I asked spicy. Szechuan is supposed to be spicy.

Never again am I ordering from this place. It's supposed to be a szechuan shrimp and all it was was a pile of onions, vegetables and no shrimp. I ordered 2 and one had 3 shrimp and the other one NONE. On top of that, they charge $1 because I asked spicy. No wonder they only have 3 stars. The only reason I ordered from them is because my regular place is closed on mondays. I called them and they are sending another one. Taste isn't that good either. On taste alone I wouldn't order from them. ...one hour later and still not here.

Proof they agree to send me a free lunch next time and now they are saying no

These liars messed up my order, we order through door dash. I called them to tell them they didn't add my sauce for my sweet and sour chicken, they said we sorry what can they do. They said we are to far to bring it for me to call door dash again I'm like I'm not paying for door dash again when you didn't complete my order correctly. So they offer one free lunch the next time we order. I said I want that in writing so to text me this agreement. They did text me. Then 5 minutes later calls me to say they have a driver now that can send me the sauce I'm like i already added ketchup to deal with the lack of sauce. We already made a deal and he's like no we can't do that I'm not the manager to give you free lunch next time. I'm like you texted me this arrangement already!! That was the whole reason i wanted it in writing and they still renick on their deal. Completely unprofessional!!!

New Kitchen? Old, stale, flavorless soup and fried rice. No second chances for this one.

They messed up my order and then wanted to charge me more to fix it. To top it all off the chicken is undercooked.

New China Wok - House Fried Rice

    New China Wok

    (14 reviews)

This is the first Chinese takeout place I've ever eaten at. I was 12 when I first ate here. My…read moreentire family loved their food. When I found out that China Wok was now called New China Wok, I decided to get a meal here for old time's sake. There isn't much to look at inside; there's a few tables, but it's still mainly a hole in the wall takeout spot. The front desk person was kind and diligent and I got my meal quickly. The food was mostly good, but I was a little disappointed. I decided to get the first meal I ever ordered from this place: the General Tso's Chicken combo, which comes with roast pork fried rice and a roast pork egg roll. A couple of broccoli crowns separate the chicken from the rice. The General Tso's sauce was just as delicious as I remember; very savory and a little spicy. Texture of the chicken and breading were very nice as well. Their roast pork fried rice is a customer favorite and it was still delicious. The flavor from the roast pork permeates all of the rice and pairs perfectly with the chicken. The egg roll was crispy and savory and there wasn't any excess grease. It tastes great by itself, with duck sauce or with the General Tso's sauce. Unfortunately, then I tried the vegetable lo mein. They used to make great lo mein, but the sauce wasn't the same this time. The noodles and vegetables were fine, but the more I ate, the less I liked it. This tasted barely average. Since I wasn't enjoying it much, I decided not to finish it, since it wasn't worth the sodium. After I finished eating, I decided to compare the new menu with a copy of the old menu I still had. Some of their best dishes are no longer available. Where's the Chow Sam Din? Where's the Twice Cooked Pork? Others were missing as well. The two dishes I mentioned were among my favorites. I think they should bring them back if they still have the recipes. I would stay away from the lo mein, but I enjoyed everything else. Still very good food overall, especially for the price, however LC Chen's isn't far away and they are more expensive, but superior.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. First of all, the service is very good and the owners…read moreare very nice. The ambience is that of a simple takeout restaurant. The egg rolls were good. The boneless spareribs were chewy and probably reheated.. The shrimp and lobster sauce was my highlight. Flavorful, large well cooked shrimp, and generous amount of shrimp. However, the lobster sauce was more of a thin lobster soup. This could be a great dish. Lastly the house special lo mein was a little disappointing. The flavor was good, but the noodles were overcooked and cut into pieces. It was odd to me, but it was as though each Long noodle was cut into thirds. I do think this restaurant has great potential, but overall, I can only rate it a three.
