They always have plenty of seats for getting a good haircut. These professionals follow current pandemic guidelines, so fear not when entering the store. A little background history: Gina opened this business when Bill Visnaw decided to close up shop. Gina, Bill, Gloria and Sharon came from Visnaw's barber shop a couple of blocks away. I have received haircuts from each of them and they know their trade. There are a few other barbers that I see every so often, and they too do a great job. Located between Bath City Bistro and Thrivent financial services, there is plenty of metered parking along the front and in adjacent parking lots.

The barber rushed through it like there was a fire drill, ignored basic symmetry, and seemed personally offended by the idea of listening. Hygiene was... optimistic at best, and the price suggested I was paying for luxury rather than regret. I left wondering if mirrors are optional here. Would not recommend unless you enjoy paying to fix mistakes somewhere else.

The Real Deal consist of about 4 different barbers, I've had the pleasure to be lined up by "Big Rich" but any of the barbers here seem more than competent. The decor inside is very sporty with a racing vibe. My first appointment was a haircut and beard, it took about an hour from start to finish. Their appointment system on their website is very easy to use. Big Rich gave me exactly what I asked for and I left feeling like a million bucks. They're all very personable and there's a healthy amount of banter between all.

During the haircut, Jason not only completely messed up the back of my hair -- easily the worst haircut I've ever had -- he also cut me. I immediately reached out to Al to address the situation. He said he would call me, but days went by with no call. I had to keep texting just to get a response, and each time I was told he'd call "later," which never happened. It's now been multiple days with no resolution, apology, or accountability. Mistakes happen, but cutting a customer, ruining a haircut, and then avoiding communication afterward is unacceptable.
