However, the best staff there was Dexter, their office puppy! Nervous about your first visit? No worries, Dex is there to keep you company, the goodest boy. So imagine working as a nurse, on your feet 12-16+ per day, 3-4x per week with lower back pain, it is legit a mood killer. Aka, that was my life for 3 months up until I met Dr. Mathai. I had this wicked lower back pain that caused me to have decreased mobility and limited my range of motion. I was getting weekly massages and seeing other chiropractors, I even got an MRI for my lower back since the pain was so severe. Fast forward to my session, Dr. Mathai was super thorough and attentive to my concerns, and gave his recommendation of what he thought I had and how he can help with my pain. One hour after my session, I didn't notice a major difference but a slight decrease in pain. And within the next 48 hours, my mobility increased and the pain gradually went away. Within the 1st week, my pain was almost gone and my range of motion was almost returned to normal. My insurance doesn't have a chiropractor coverage, so I paid a small out of pocket cost ( less than $75). So. Worth. It. So am I recommending this office? 100%.
