It was a large project! We live in a neighborhood of 1.5M+ homes and were haggled and up charged by other vendors ..our advice, save the headache with other companies and just call Guardian. Their knowledge, skill, precision, punctuality and customer service is top notch. From the beginning to the end of the project they have guided us and have done an immaculate job. We had dark cherry woods to work with and wanted to tone down the color but also allow it to flow with our dark staircase and blend into the new. They aided in finding a match that coordinated and flowed without taking away from the home. It's rare to find the tenacity and quality this company exudes. Typically everything is subcontracted out with most companies which is not the case with Guardian. The owners are hands on and invested in the project just as much their team is. And an added bonus they have a veteran on the team!

My husband and & I pulled up the existing old carpet and discovered the hardwood floors were still in good condition! Those old floors seemed to have potential and we just couldn't bring ourselves to hide them again under carpeting. We contacted Guardian Flooring Advancements to see what our options would be to have the floors refinished. WOW!!! What a wonderful, amazing job!!! They sanded, stained, and put the final coat on those old hardwood floors. They made those 157 year old floors look practically brand new!!

I'll try to explain this "Not Good" rating as briefly as possible. If there was an option for…read more"Sucked" it would be more appropriate. In short, this man took my $2000 deposit, and over nearly two years (pre-COVID), failed to complete a single task in the contract. I asked for my money back and sent a demand letter. Dave gave excuses such as other jobs running over, personal injuries/limitations, family health issues, etc. He complained about how many times he had to come to my house to talk about the plans. While I admit that I did have an evolving vision that sometimes needed a face to face discussion, most of his trips were for his benefit, not mine (e.g., had to re-measure several times and even asked me to take measures to send). He stated that his right to keep the deposit was based on work already done. I never saw anything done. He also tried to withhold some of my items as "collateral" and in legal terms, that's called theft. I eventually had to make a trip to his workshop to pick up my property. I cannot speak to the quality of Dave's work, but I can share with you that he took advantage of someone in a state of grieving. I felt bad for each of his reasons as to why he couldn't finish the project because I was in a fragile state. In hindsight, I was manipulated. Dave may respond to this with unsubstantiated excuses. Near the end of my correspondence wit Dave, he sent me a final invoice that was $4000 over my quoted price stating that the job had caused him extra work and travel that was not anticipate. Again, I share with you that he NEVER DID ANYTHING in my house. Please choose a different carpenter to save yourself some time and money, and some very likely heartache.

To make a long story short I purchased an out of state investment property in Indianapolis…read more However, I was swindled by the seller and the properties were not as they appeared. I was stuck in a horrible position with the property management company I was working with and being out of state only made it worse. I searched for a contractor to help me get the properties fixed and rented out so I could finally make some income. I found a Val here on yelp and we began to communicate. Since the very beginning Val has been responsive, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. He provided me with estimates for work that need to be done and we went forward. The properties were rehabbed thanks to Val and not only did it and there. Val went out of his way to meet with potential tenants to show them the properties during the day while he was working on other projects for other customers. He must've showed those properties to a couple dozen people and eventually he helped me decided on tenants. Val even helped me find a good lease agreement. Does it end there? Nope. Val continue to help me and get the lease agreement signed by the tenets. He mailed me lease agreements, first months rent and deposits through money orders in the mail. That's it's right? Again no. Doesn't end there. Soon after the property is rented out small issues came up with tenets mostly regarding the plumbing. Val was quick to show up to the properties and take care of the issues. Of course none of this was free, but was it worth what I paid. Absolutely. Now is this the end? No. After this experience with Val I have decided on one thing. I will continue to invest in properties in Indianapolis and I will only work with Val. He is a one stop shop and I know that working with him I will be OK. Val thank you my friend for all the work you have done for me. You are a great contractor but I consider you an even better friend now.

I contacted Val who immediately got back to me, did research on the property from the listing photos, and diagnosed the problem instantly. The next day, I got an estimate much less than another company's, and Val was continuously in contact with me at all times. We scheduled to do the gutter replacement about a week after the first conversation, and his crew arrived on time and got the work done without fuss. But here's the best part: not only did he look at the roof for me because I told him I was concerned about my inspection report's inadequacy, he surveyed almost everything on the exterior of my house. He identified roof issues, vent issues, pointed out rot, noted where things were installed cheaply, etc. He didn't pressure us into any work, he simply laid out the things my inspector should have caught, sent me pictures, and gave me advice for how and when to address some of the issues. He was honest in explaining much of this is on our dime. He was also frank in saying the inspector should give us the extent of the money laid out in the contract because he did such a poor job. He also was clear in that so long as I don't have stains on my ceiling, it wasn't an emergency, so I didn't feel pressured, I felt educated. I'm going to fix this house. I'm going to use Val to get it done. If I were you, I'd use him, too.

She scheduled me in, And I put down my deposit. She kept me in the loop the whole time and followed up. The tub looks great. I opted for the additional non skid bottom coating. It all came out great and my tenant is happy. I'm so glad I didn't have to replace the bathtub. I'm hoping this glaze lasts for at least 8 -10 years. Of course it all depends on how tenants care for it and clean it (or don't lol) I searched around for awhile looking for a person or company to do this. I found a lot of contractors who either didn't have time, didn't return my calls or else they just didn't seem trust worthy. As a landlord out of state it can be rough to find good help so I was relieved that Miracle Method made it all pretty easy to deal with. I will definitely use them again. In the near future.

It was done with all kinds of bumps, humps and nodules that could cut you down to the white meat if you weren't careful. Not to mention I had a couple cuts from their work on the rocky resurfaced tub. I called and told them. They said the same young guy would come back out to fix their mistakes by only spraying the paint color again. I explained I wanted a different person to come back out to fix it. They said nope, we'll send the same person out to fix their mess up's. So, 1 month later in December, another young guy comes to fix the other young guys mess ups. This new guy said wow I see why he isn't with us anymore and that's why they sent me. He told me what the issue was, but he was only there to spray again. So, the 2nd spray didn't work at all, and it made the color much darker. I called them back. now the supervisor/owner wants to come out. She did, 3rd visit in January, a month later, and tried to say well we will just spray again. I told her what was needed and demanded a complete redo since they would not give me my money back. So, the 4th visit in February, another new guy came out, it was stripped halfway down, wet sanded and resprayed. This time, the tub was not the only thing that was resprayed. My walls and floor by the tub were sprayed as well and will not come up. The tub is better but still not what I paid for. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I just wanted my money back after the 1st mess up. I failed to read reviews prior to paying them. I WILL NEVER FORGET TO READ REVIEWS FOR ANYONE/COMPANY AGAIN FOR THAT MATTER.
