My son Dorion had been there since he was a little over 3 years old. He is now a happy, well-adjusted boy thanks to the staff there. I have to admit that this place treated and educated my son more than any public school has. My son has developmental delay and has little communication skills ,but everyone at Jumpstart treated him like family and the thought still touches my heart. I owe so much credit for this to everyone there especially Christina. They have excellent experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers and are patient and kind. The kids get plenty of outdoor play and do many fun activities. I am so happy that I found them because they really do love children. They offer a loving and safe environment for infants and children to thrive. I would be happy to provide anyone with more information. Come take a look, you will be surprised at all that they have to offer!!

My grand daughter went to this so called day care for 2 1/2 years or so. I immediately saw straight…read morethrew the owner and the main teacher: very fake spirited people and will lie to make their assumptions true. My grand daughter was brought to the hospital by her parents, due to my grand daughter saying things she should have not been saying. However, I warned my daughter if you take her to the Doctor/hospital, the hospital will call DCF. And due to the closed mindedness and fake ness of the owner and the main teacher , they will assume it is us whom called DCF. Nevertheless, as an parent she was concerned and she took my grand daughter to the doctor/hospital anyways. Which I totally understand. Although, the Doctor/Hospital found no finding's of anything. The DCF worker-Terrell came to my house one night and I told him since the Doctor/Hospital said nothing is wrong, do not go to the day care they are not reasonable people and very unprofessional; they will think it is us. He said to me- I know you and your daughter didn't make the call therefore I will for sure to them its not you or your daughter. He just didn't know WHO he was dealing with because it played out exactly how I said it will.... 2 months later the DCF worker-Terrell went to the Day Care, he went to close the case, due to the hospital making the anonymous call; DCF had to get involved. According to the DCF Worker-Terrell, He and my daughter said the moment he mentioned what happened The Owner- Ms.Antoinette became high style and accused the grand mother(me) for making the call to DCF. She also mentioned other things to convince herself I called DCF. I went to the day care but Ms.Antoinette left and had Ms.Crystal play DEVIL'S Advocate for her. Both of them Lied on the DCF worker-Terrell: Ms.Crystal told me the DCF worker-Terrell told her it was the Grand Mother and He showed her the Paper work etc.. I told her she is a LIAR because the hospital made the call and DCF will never LIE or tell who made the call. She was very adamant the DCF Worker terrell told her I called and she saw the paper work. I saw right threw her. When I reached home me and my daughter called DCF-Terrell on a 3 way call. For I knew Ms. Antoinette and Ms.Crystal was Lying. The DCF worker-Terrell said Ms.Crystal is a Liar he never showed any paper work because he keep his paper work in his phone, he Never walk with paper work and he never said the grand mother called DCF; he asked her a few questions and that was all he said to Ms.Crystal. And furthermore, he will get fired if he tell who made the call, and he will not lie on the grand mother for any Day Care and lose his job..He also mentioned from his opinion, Ms.Antoinette do not want the child to go the the Day Care anymore, her Demeanor and her Attitude showed him that. Ms.Antoinette also said to DCF it was the grand mother several times; so he asked her do she have attitude with you for you to think that? and she said yes she always starting over little things etc.. Moreover, Ms.Antoinette told my daughter that The DCF man said when he came to the grand mother house I gave him attitude. So when I asked the DCF worker about all the lies the two of them said he said : he told me what Really Happen and he said Ms.Antoinette mentioned my name to him FIRST which lead him to ask, if me and her had problems. Ms. Antoinette the owner, is a Bold Face Liar, Fake and a Hypocrite. She Smile in my face and talk Folly behind my back. Ms.Antoinette also Lied and said someone called DCF on her before my daughter took the baby to the hospital/doctor and she can lose her license; and it had to be the grand mother-me. The DCF worker said that is a LIE she cant lose her license when nothing was found. I told my daughter months ago to take her baby out of the DEVIL'S HOUSE, for she is too smart to be in a NORMAL and ANGRY day care like that. My grand daughter shoes are always on the Wrong Feet,Her jackets, underwear etc are Always coming up missing they put clean underwear on top of her Pissy underwear, they are Too Lazy to change her Properly etc.. so much I can say about this Bull Shit Day Care. They are the PITS. And Ms. Antoinette should know by now; If I thought my grand daughter was in harms way, to the point the hospital had to get involved I will confront her myself, Like I already did in the Past. I don't need to call DCF, I'm not scared to address her when my grand daughter is concerned. She don't like when people confront her about her Folly Services. YET, she Smile and Laugh in my Face and then Chat Lies and Bull Shit behind my back. She need to take her WICKED and LYING self back TO Bookkeeping/Accounting, she is a DISGRACE to the Child Care Industry. Her main teacher is full of Shit-Ms.Tory and Ms.Crystal is Full Shit; to be an Elder Ms.Crystal is a Disgrace, getting Older and Dumber. Their True colors have been exposed and I am more than Happy my grand daughter is away from Crosses people like them. Liars and Fakes.

When I was looking to enroll my 21/2 year old in preschool, I had 6 main requirements:…read more 1. Cleanliness 2. Warm & Welcoming Environment & Staff 3. Compliant with DCF rules 4. VPK Readiness 5. Diverse 6. Affordable And to my surprise, who knew this little preschool off of 1-95 and 151st street would possess all of the above. I am a very picky mother, which is why, it took me almost an entire year to make my decision. Below are the most important attributes that contributed to my decision: 1. Upon entering the location, I was not met with the smell of children's poop, mold, or a wet mop. Although the preschool can use a few modern touches, it meets the purpose, after all this is a preschool. There were no runny nose little kids. 2. My son has detachment issues and what impressed me the most is how inviting the director, Michelle, and the teachers were to him when we had the tour. The atmosphere was so inviting that after a few minutes my toddler wondered off and began to participate in circle time. Keep in mind that once I enrolled him, he still cried during drop offs. He was also shy with the other kids but within a matter of 1 week he started to come around. My once spoiled, stubborn toddler was exhibiting signs of independence such as he now had a desire and the ability to feed his self, he was no longer crying when I was trying to potty train him, and he was expressing himself more. "Mommy, I tired. Mommy that a circle. Mommy that a big dinsaur," were a few of the sentences he were expressing. 3. I researched the DCF provider tool and noted that this location did not have any violations for the past 2 years, which is surprising when compared to some of these more expensive preschools. 4. I researched VPK statistics as well. This center has had a 100% score for years. I could tell that this was not one of those "play all day" preschools/daycare facilities. When I completed my tour, all of the classes were being instructed, even the 1 year olds. The VPK children were learning advanced concepts and they appeared to understand the lesson. 5. In my son's 2 year old class, there are a good mixture of children from different racial backgrounds. Although, I am a black woman raising a black son, my aim is to raise a son that has friends from various backgrounds and I believe it starts when they are young. 6. Given all of the above, you would think that this place costs $200/week or above. Well, its well below $150, even with free breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I believe the key to this is that the Director has been in this line of business for several decades and is able to limit the amount of overhead that these new facilities deem as necessary when pricing our children's care. I'm not going to say the exact amount because while my goal is to acknowledge this preschool for its excellent service; I have another son that I intend to enroll soon and I don't want everyone beating down this place's door, just because of the price. In fact, so much so that at the end of the day, they don't have enough room to receive my other son when he turns one. (I know terrible, but the truth!). If you are a parent seeking the same attributes in a day care, then I suggest you give this place a try.

I know it's long:   It took me three days to write this…read morereview. "I couldn't get past how surreal the experience was at Jitta Bug". It wasn't your traditional tour. Far from traditional. As I said earlier it was an EXPERIENCE. Let me walk you through.  1. Upon entry there is a strict no shoes within the building policy. The petty in me said to myself "they better be clean in there" And YES, the cleanliness of each room was something I have never seen at a kids' facility. If she runs her cameras back, you'll see me running my fingers across the top of door frames, moving the bookshelf, looking in every corner I could see. "She Mrs. Adri said I could" It wasn't like I was obsessed with finding dirt or anything like that lol, but I was very shocked that it was beyond clean. "Mind you we just randomly popped up."    2. After I snapped back to reality from Jitta Bug being an OCD operated facility. I stopped her mid speech "ion even know what she was saying at this time" I told her "Listen I have been on your website; you have a zoom link to watch your lesson time every weekday from 9:30-10:00am the reviews are looking like they told no lies about this daycare.  Mrs. Adri jumped in and let it be known and I quote "This here ain't no daycare, we learn and do more than just learn this here a school". my facial expression said, "Yes Mam ''. Mind you, at that time she and I were in the toddler class and each child was calm and quiet while holding a book in their hand. They all said good morning to me and continued reading. 2yr olds engaged on their own while their teacher is multitasking between a tour instructional time. I didn't want to get too hyped and all you know it was just a tour. But in the inside, I was doing "Teach me how to Dougie" 3.  As we entered the VPK class the students were in three groups it looked like but working on three different things. Two kids were using a MEASURING TAPE while taking the other kids height, but it was the way Ms. Juliey was so in control while being so calm. She was with one group at the table while orchestrating the other groups. But check it, she also managed to incorporate Khali "My son" into the groups without losing a beat with all three groups while answering a couple of my questions. True to their Company's philosophy "Jitta Bug's program supports a developmentally appropriate curriculum that helps enhance the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child" Now at this point I'm still not showing my excitement, but I'm praise dancing heavy on inside. So that's the tour.  Here's my recap~  It's not for everyone! "And that's me being modest" If you're a parent that's looking for a daycare or learning center and the minimal parent involvement that comes along with it. Jitta Bug more than likely won't be for you as you won't be for it. "It's a SCHOOL" that both parent and child will be enrolled in. The things they are learning are things that give exposure to real life social settings. "I mean they are learning horticulture and agriculture skills" I've been a stay-at-home dad with Khali for 1yr now. The circle time and YouTube learning wasn't a suit for Khali. Jitta Bug answered 90 of my questions by telling me my involvement will be critical to Khali development. As a former educator I was thrilled about this school and their curriculum but as a father it was a relief to find a place that will HELP ME challenge my son. Y'all don't understand this two-year-old I'm dealing with. He can read "Hyperlexia", memorize 45 plus different Monster Jam Truck names, the boy got bored at number 30 in Spanish now WE know how to count to ten in Chinese. Mrs. Adri & Ms. Juliey we are looking forward to learning how to count in French Creole.   Check me out 60 days for my updated review. **Disclaimer** Former educator here MATH not English, so take it easy on me with the grammatical errors Microsoft Word didn't catch ok, cool"
