This was my oldest child's first preschool experience (and thus mine too!) and I was very apprehensive starting off. Over time I gained a lot of confidence in the teachers and their expertise. My kid had multiple potty accidents and hitting incidents throughout the year, and the teachers knew how to handle the situation appropriately and without shaming me or my child. They frequently communicated his struggles as well as his successes, and their hard work and devotion to the kids is so apparent. My son felt loved and accepted by his teachers, and as a parent this means a lot. I put my son in preschool primarily to practice social skills and boundaries, but he also learned so, so much. The education at this school truly is top notch compared to the many other schools I have toured and visited. My son frequently surprises me about random facts that he's learned at school (as well as some Spanish vocab which is fun), and I've been amazed at the breadth of content they teach. But even more importantly was how learning was FUN for him. It is really important to me that my children can foster curiosity and a love of learning, and this school absolutely excels at that. read more

I have had 2 sons attend New Discovery Montessori and I rave about it to anyone who will listen. Statistics show that your investment in a quality preschool will benefit your child $7- $1 in the long run. I have witnessed the start of this division between children who receive quality early childhood education and discounted preschool. This division becomes more apparent the older my children get. New Discovery Montessori has taught my children the tools to be a self learner. To get off of the couch and be creative. My mind was blown the first time my 3 year old came home knowing all the continents in the world, countries in South America, or the planets in the solar system. They are taught conflict resolution in a peaceful way. They are taught culture, respect, and love for diversity. I also feel strongly that the Spanish Immersion program set the pathway for my older son to transition into Chinese Immersion in 1st grade with ease. New Discovery Montessori School is a fantastic place for kids. The environment is beautiful, well designed, inspiring and organized. They offer a rich curriculum and devote enough time to each topic for the students to really absorb information and process new ideas. The school day is well structured with a good balance of teacher led group instruction (circle time), challenging individual work, practical life skills, and playground time. And, most importantly, the teachers are top notch with the ability to engage students, inspire independence and handle all situations with a positive attitude, compassion and professionalism. I truly believe that this is the best preschool in the Ogden area. My son attended another school prior to enrolling there and, though it was a highly regarded school/day care, it did not measure up to New Discovery. read more

We absolutely love this preschool! We've sent 2 of our kids here and plan to send our 3rd. The class is always so clean and well organized. Ms Andrea and her staff are so great with our kids! They learn so much in class...I'm consistently blown away by what they have learned! One of our children had a very tearful drop off just about every morning for many months and Ms Andrea was so good to encourage him to keep coming to class and eventually the tearful drop offs disappeared entirely. He loves his preschool days now and has made many new friends this year! We've been so pleased with our choice with New Discovery Montessori. We highly recommend! read more

This preschool is simply the best in town! Our kids have been attending since 2016. We drive 30 minutes each way (from Huntsville) just to bring our kids here. By 4 years old, our daughter was already comfortable reading entry-level books! Our next daughter (age 3) is sounding out 3-letter words and is thriving socially, emotionally, and academically under Miss Andrea and Miss Megan. Our son can't wait to start here in the fall! We love this school! Ms. Andrea and the other teachers are friendly, approachable, and great with the kids. We have been so impressed with the curriculum throughout the school year. Our kiddo has learned about all the continents, so many different pieces of culture, ecosystems, the solar system, Spanish, and the list goes on. The teachers have really supported our boy's natural inclination for reading, sending early reader books to practice at home. Amazing school! All four of my kids have gone to this preschool starting clear back in 2010! It has been an awesome school. All of my kids have been advanced upon entering kindergarten and continue to be advanced thanks to the foundation and love of learning that New Discovery has provided them. Mrs. Andrea and Mrs. Megan are great and so kind and loving. They do a fantastic job at engaging the kids and giving them each one on one time as well. This is a fantastic school and I can't emphasize enough how great it has been for our children. Ms Megan and Ms Andrea are incredible teachers! We have two sons who have gone to school at NDM now, and both of them have had tremendous experiences. Even after one of them moved on to elementary school, his teacher asked about his preschool and complimented the teachers for how far ahead he already was.
