I LOVE LITTLE ORCHARD KAYSVILLE! Just by meeting the program director (Michelle Paez) you get a sense of the high standard Little Orchard PreSchool is held to. My 3.5 y/o has a speech delay, mild sensory sensitivity, and severe separation anxiety. Ms. Michelle reassured me that the staff are prepared to help kids with any transitioning difficulties they may experience. They are INCREDIBLY empathetic and patient with each student, my son actually hung out with Ms. Michelle his first 2 days of school and once he felt safe with her; she helped him transition into the classroom without her. The level of compassion and respect they give to our kids is outstanding. Other things I found note worthy... - CLEAN: The facility has a modern and updated interior. The layout is simple and very clean/organized. - STRUCTURED PROGRAM: The program is Montessori based and is very much routined and structured. They have a set daily schedule and implement early education skills (reading, writing, etc.) - GREAT COMMUNICATION: The program director is the bridge of communication between you/your kids and the teachers. This makes communicating thoughts and concerns consistent and easy! If I have a concern about my son, I can just call, text, or email Ms. Michelle and she does the rest. I decided to write this review bc last week I noticed a bruise on my son's face on a day he had school. I reached out to Ms. Michelle and asked if she could check in with his teachers and see if he had an accident or hurt himself. She called me and said that she had talked to all of staff that interacted with my son AND she personally reviewed footage from his school day to make sure there weren't any incidents where he could have been hurt. I just felt very impressed with the level of safety precautions and immediate communication to re-iterate that our children's safety is their top priority. - COMMUNITY: There are activities that families can participate in that make it fun easy to interact with the school community. - PROCARE APP: Little Orchard has a smartphone app where you can sign in/out your child from school, get personal updates from teachers, get pictures/summaries of activities the kids are doing in real time, update personal information, pay tuition, direct message the staff, etc. The app is user friendly, easy to navigate, and makes it easy to never miss an update! Long story short; if you want a community that will enable your kids to thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and academically, CHOOSE LITTLE ORCHARD!

A review is a bit overdue, now that we've been with Kid's First for 2+ years. Kid's First has been…read moremy #1 choice for daycare for my three children (ages 3y, 18m, and expected newborn). I consider them part of our family and value their role in my children's lives. Every single teacher in the center knows and interacts with my children lovingly and as if they were their own. Management and teachers have always been professional, responsive, and considerate. Procare is used to provide updates and photos on their daily activities, and funny stories/info on their days are also shared during pick-up/drop-off, always keeping me - and even Grammy - involved. Communication lines are always open and parent-teacher conferences are offered regularly. Activities indoors and outdoors are plentiful, allowing my kids to burn their massive amounts of energy. Meals are kid-friendly while meeting and exceeding State standards for healthy meal plans. Any concerns are resolved promptly. I've never had to question the safety - physical, emotional, or otherwise - of my children while in their care, and any incidents between children are well-documented and handled appropriately. The facility is clean and maintained, providing a sanitary environment. Teachers are trained regularly, and turnover is infrequent (all but maybe two have been with the center for 1y+). In the time my kids have attended, we've seen many wonderful updates, from the installation of security cameras and complete remodels of rooms to new playground equipment and strollers for walks. In short, my kids are happy, well-taken care of, and the dedication and commitment of management and teachers to each other, to the children, and to the facility is clear to see. Thank you Miss Katie, Miss Ann, and staff for providing quality care - We could not ask for better!

They once tried to convince me she had chicken pox (site definitely didn't) just so they could have one less kid to supervise. She was only 1! In one month, they called me 8 times to come get her. And I finally asked the owner how they got paid and whether the child is there for 1 hour or 8 hours, they charge for the full day, so the staff was getting their full pay and then just sending kids home! It was AWFUL.

It gives me peace of mind to know that every day he spends at least three hours in an exceptional, self-guided learning environment. Ms. Evi is very talented and her 10 years of experience speaks for itself when you see her interact with the children. She is very kind and respectful toward them while also managing to create a structured, positive learning environment. Every day my son comes home telling me about the new things he learned and I have noticed he asks more intelligent questions about everything. I like that he is learning life skills like how to pour his own glass of milk and use a sponge. This has given him more confidence which is so important at this age. I feel so blessed that we stumbled on Ms. Evi's program for her first year in Kaysville as I am fairly certain in subsequent years the spots will go quickly. This program is worth every penny and I would absolutely put my son back in next year if we weren't moving.

We set another one, got the confirmation email again and AGAIN got a cancellation with no explanation as to why, we call and they tell us they had to cancel for another meeting. No call to explain and reschedule, no explanation in the email, just cancelled and we had to chase them down for an explanation.
