Have nothing to do with these people. You will regret it. They did not come through for me with my insurance company and medications.

Look at the provided picture of his smirking face... it speaks volumes. There were a few "red…read moreflags" when I started seeing him multiple years ago... he did not believe that I do in fact, have a life-threatening medication sensitivity,. FINALLY it had been documented from several hospitals after it took 15+ years of torture from the mental health field to figure it out. Neuroleptic Malignant Sydrome (NMS). So, he was read the documentation which led to a "huh, that's really rare." Right. He is arrogant and dismissive. Ultimately, I overlooked the "red flags" and it was to my detriment, NOT his. It's telehealth, and he sits wherever, giving out his wisdom. Only problem, he's not wise! Rather than look into my condition he continued to treat me as run of the mill, protocol kind of patient ... and who suffered for it... I DID! 9 weeks in the hospital, largely because he did not have me on enough of a mood stabilizer and he missed the signs of a hypomania (for no less than 3 months), which led to a full blown mania. How could he miss that?!? I had a one night emergency room stay in August, which he dismissed. End of November - full blown mania, ambulance to emergency room, 7 weeks of hell at the hospital because they can't treat me with regular meds, finally transferred to another hospital that was more competent for 2 more weeks. My life has been a living hell for 7 months now. The hospital said to go back to Murray and the counselor at CBI that I had been seeing... when he informed me, "You are too complicated and I should have retired 2 years ago." I'm still searching for a competent doctor & help, I obviously didn't get either from this man nor the practice that he is with. CBI is a joke... you cannot get through to anyone, you have to wait sometimes days for callbacks. Heaven forbid you have to be hospitalized, don't expect this guy or CBI to do anything to talk to the hospital doctors, give them your baseline data and/or anything that would make your stay shorter or more comfortable. Please, read the various reviews on him and CBI, there is a reason they are all horrible.

I had waited 6+ weeks for my initial appt with her, so I communicated the urgency and concern from the get-go. She said she would put in the referral and get back to me. Next appt (first week of Oct.), she said that there was only one psychiatrist that may even be willing to see me (this is a large group, by the way). And encouraged me to send my medical records and stay in counseling because that would show good faith efforts to get on their schedule. Next appt, three weeks after this (life, sickness, etc) she tells me they never received my medical records. Still not able to schedule a psychiatrist. And she said it was on me to follow up and be proactive about my medical records. Meanwhile, it takes this woman a week to answer emails and all she can tell me is "I understand your frustration, I have just been booked full back to back and everyone has." This is simply unacceptable incompetence. I had my medical records sent again and then waited two more weeks just to get a summary of my appointments that I had already had with the therapist in the hopes of getting established elsewhere. A huge waste of time, money, resources, frustration. Hey Vista, if you aren't actually helping people, what is the point?

Full disclosure...I have never been here and I don't know anyone who has. That being said, why the…read morelow score? Wish I could rate it 0 stars, because they won't even book an appointment for my teen child, not because my primary insurance is bad, but because they said they don't like my secondary insurance...lmao. I told them, in the state of PA, any children diagnosed were automatically put on the secondary insurance, I believe this to be true, because I did't search this insurance out. I can't believe they turn away a child in need because of secondary insurance. How disgusting. I offered to cover anything over what the primary insurance wouldn't cover so they don't even have to bill the secondary, but still a big NO.

Go to this facility with caution. I was admitted for treatment of ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food…read moreIntake Disorder), and unfortunately, it quickly became clear that the staff is primarily trained in treating physical eating disorders -- not the mental, sensory, or neurodivergent factors that come with ARFID. Despite repeatedly advocating for my needs, I was denied basic accommodations. My blood sugar had to drop to dangerous levels before anyone took me seriously. As an autistic person, the environment was extremely overstimulating -- loud, bright, chaotic, and heavily structured in a way that felt unsafe for my nervous system. While many of the staff were kind and supportive, a small number -- including one of the main nurses -- made my experience traumatizing. I was often treated with suspicion or indifference, and even basic requests (like a snack before bed) were denied, labeled as "special privileges." Meanwhile, I watched others have their needs met without pushback. My family and I were even met with hostility and unprofessionalism when raising concerns. I lost 4 pounds in just 4 days under their care, and my parents ultimately had to sign me out to protect my health. Since then, I've been trying to recover at home. Months later, I'm still dealing with the emotional fallout and have had to start therapy to unpack the trauma. If you're neurodivergent or dealing with a nontraditional eating disorder like ARFID, be very cautious. You deserve care that's compassionate, trauma-informed, and respectful -- this was not that.
