We should be very thankful that people take the time to study such practices to help us everyday people. This is one doctor that I will NEVER understand how she got her degree when she lacks so much compassion and is extremely biased and harsh right off the bat at the first visit...and yes..I went to several visits to make up my opinion. I am not going to go into details..but my race..choice of religion..and the clothes I wore (I'm poor..I cannot help it)..is how I was judged right off the bat. She explained to me that my tattoos were negative to bare on my skin and that is something I "screwed" up forever. She told me I needed to dress nicer. After several visits..thinking it was just me...I heard her YELLING at a 15-16 year old boy. She was telling him to "Knock it off"..to "straighten up".."you need to stop and get it together or you need to leave".....WHAT THE?!?! I never heard the boy raise his voice..only sobbing..which was hard to hear over her yelling. I was in the waiting room. The boy stepped out..I confronted him..and told him he should NEVER have to endure such mental and emotional abuse..ESPECIALLY from the therapist that was suppose to be helping him. I also spoke with his mother when she went to pick him up. The receptionist AND the doctor attacked her AND her son verbally when she went to ask about it.. I have NEVER seen any doctor in my life act with such lack of compassion and immaturity. Our children are our future...for the love of GOD..do NOT let this woman see you..your kids..or anyone you know. She is an absolute disgrace!! And for the record..you should hear the receptionist..she is stone cold and lacks just as much compassion. This is honestly a shame..and my heart goes out to anyone who had to encounter her.

I was drowning in shame and self loathing because of it. I have found Mr. Clarke to be a wonderful help and resource for me in times of chaos. He's the best therapist I have ever worked with. Mr. Clarke is also not a psychiatrist, as Yelp asserts. He is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago. This simply means that he is unable to provide prescription medication therapy. Instead of helping me through my struggles in life (separation issues at the time) he felt the need to impose judgement on me and has no problem throwing in his opinion on my court case. Another big issue was that he did his own billing so even though I wanted to pay what insurance wasn't paying, he kept being extremely frustrated with me about that while also never asking how I was doing.
