They've got it all from fine food to groceries to salons to educational services. The cornerstone of Stoneridge has to be its two large retailers: Kroger & Marshall's/HomeGoods. Another big anchor is the 16 screen Cinemark Movie Theater. Along the main thoroughfares in detached free-standing buildings, you will find almost every type of fast food chain such as Arby's, KFC, Taco Bell & Wendy's. For its age, Stoneridge has weathered the multiple storms of retail competition all around. For instance, as Easton continues to grow, Stoneridge hasn't lost a step. As so many other Plazas (or Strip Malls) have squandered over the recent years throughout Northeast Columbus, Stoneridge still stands as a premier shopping destination without all the vacancies. Like I said before, Stoneridge is like a home away from home for me. As a matter of fact, I'm there so frequently that I decided to get my mail sent there! PakMail is one of my favorite stores at Stoneridge Plaza!

Surprisingly amazing shopping mall, which is really a strip mall, with excellent food and a wonderful feel to it, it's one of the ethnic heartbeats of the Columbus burbs, and one of many hidden gems that Columbus has to offer - much like Cleveland. So it's a really exciting and pretty long strip mall featuring a Brazilian store and a wonderful Vietnamese sandwich shop and a bunch of other cool little shops and eateries. Definitely an excellent addition to Columbus - and one which all you out there should be checking out - and I should not be the first person reviewing. Also my little Sammi has been here so what's not to love? Columbus is full of amazing ethnic stuff, and it's a hotbed of perfect international yumminess, despite not being famous for it - again, similar to Cleveland. It's the kind that you have to seek out to find it, and this strip mall is a perfect example. So even though the paving is really bad and some of the drivers are stupid, my favourite little strip mall in town offers great Vietnamese, perfect Brazilian, an African clothing/accessory store, and so much more.

While browsing through the store we spotted a coffee table we both liked; it was on sale, with an additional sale price offered with a coupon...which we did not have...but which made it a great bargain. We asked about the coupon requirement, and the salesman took us to checkout where another young man assisted us in securing the coupon through our phones, while the original salesman located the very large item (coffee table) and brought it to the front of the store. This process was embarrassingly slow, as I'd picked up my 'second' cell, a smart phone I'd not yet activated for online activity, so we had to switch to my wife's phone to complete the process, taking time in a busy checkout lane. While the checkout man helped us, the salesman opened a second lane so as not to inconvenience others unduly. We were not certain that the large box would fit into the back seat of our car, but the salesman who stayed with us throughout, thought it would, even offering to unpackage it if that would help. He was (barely) correct, and loaded it for me, and I offered a cash tip which he declined. When home, pleased with our purchase, we discovered that in the process of all this, we'd not picked up the three forks, the entire purpose of our trip. Expecting another long trip would be necessary, I called the store and a young lady immediately understood out problem and set us at ease, offering to have them shipped, and called me back later with a tracking number for Fed Ex where she dropped them off on her way home after work. I can't adequately express my feelings about the help received from these three, two young man and one young woman, all unknown to us by name; I just want to say that It was a totally exemplary experience in ALL ways, demonstrating an excellent quality of staff at World Market by enabling a couple in their 80s to successfully work through a difficult shopping experience.

am writing to share feedback regarding a recent return experience at the Marshall's New Albany,…read moreOhio location, which was far more difficult and unpleasant than it needed to be due to the behavior of a cashier. I was returning two sweaters purchased online--one size large and one size medium. The large did not fit, and the medium was damaged (a button was missing). Both items were brand new, still had the original brand tags attached, and I had the receipt available electronically on my phone. Initially, I did not have my phone with me inside the store. Although the cashier was able to locate my receipt in the system, she stated she needed to see the receipt on my phone because it contained "pictures." I understood this requirement since the items were purchased online and did not have Marshall's tags. However, I was then incorrectly told that without the original plastic bags the sweaters shipped in, the items could not be returned. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since I had proof of purchase and the items were new with tags. When I asked what I was supposed to do, the cashier responded, "Honestly, I don't know what to tell you," which came across as dismissive and unhelpful. I ultimately went back to my car to retrieve my phone, after being told I would need to get back in line. After returning to the line, I unfortunately ended up with the same cashier, Kayla. I provided my phone showing the receipt, photos, and matching item numbers. At that point, the return was processed--but it was issued as a gift card. When I asked why, since I had the receipt, I was told it was because I paid via PayPal. When I asked where that policy was stated, Kayla said she did not know. To avoid having funds tied up on a gift card, I asked if I could return the items I had just purchased (over $100), then repurchase them using the store credit. She confirmed that I could, but questioned why I would want to do that. After retrieving the items from my car again, I returned to the store. At that point, I overheard Kayla discussing my situation with another employee in a clearly negative manner. When I approached, she stated she was no longer open, despite audibly talking about me moments before. Another cashier assisted me, completed the return and repurchase efficiently, and the transaction was resolved. While the situation was ultimately fixed, it required multiple trips to my car, unnecessary confusion, and enduring rude and unprofessional behavior. The issue itself was not the policy or the process--it was the attitude. Talking negatively about a customer within earshot, being dismissive, and making the customer feel like a problem was completely unnecessary, especially during a relatively slow time in the store. I understand policies must be followed, and I was more than willing to do what was needed to resolve the situation. However, courtesy and professionalism should still be the standard. This experience did not reflect that. I hope this feedback is used to improve customer interactions moving forward.
