I had my permanent makeup applied here. It was maybe 5 years ago, so I forget the artist's name (also the owner). She's very meticulous, provides what you are looking for. Very professional and although it's not cheap, it has been so worth it. I hate putting makeup on and this saves easily 10-15 minutes a day. I had heard she was the best in the valley, and that's what I wanted. I got upper & lower eyeliner tint, as well as my brows. Looks very natural. I got a tiny cat eye which looks cute. This is a follow up a year later. Cheryl is sweet, but her work simply doesn't last. The process seems rather dated, she doesn't do a mock up and get you to approve what she has drawn on before getting to work, she didn't leave the numbing gel on long enough to actually numb anything before starting, and she immediately tells you from the get go that her work will need annual touch-ups (they try to book it at your 2nd touch up appointment!) Find an artist that people rave about and that their work lasts. A year later, my eyeliner is faded, and much thicker than I ever wore it, so it looks smudgy. My eyeliner ends where my pupil does, which isn't where anyone stops, usually to the iris edge at least when coming towards the nose. I was horrified when I first saw it in the mirror, because of how thick my eyeliner was. I realized after some research that she does an older style on the bottom, where you start at the corner near the nose with what is called a #2 thickness, then go to a #4 thickness, without tapering off again. On someone in their 20s, it looks dated and heavy. (think your mom or grandma trying eyeliner for a night out) I'm torn between being thrilled it has faded in the past year and irritated that I spent that much money for something that essentially only last a year. The upper liner has lasted better. She added a cat-eye flare at the end that I did NOT request instead of staying close to the eyelash line like I wore it, but I've come to peace with it. 18 month update: Finally made it to another artist, who said New Age does great lines, but that the ink simply wasn't placed deep enough. The numbing technique at this other place was HEAVENLY and I didn't realize this whole process could be painless compared to New Age Glamour. My eyeliner has faded to blue, which looks weird with my green eyes and brown hair. My lower lid is apparently insanely low (see photos) vs closer to the waterline like where most people wear it. It makes my eyes look droopy, at 28 years old. Do your research everyone! Find an artist with raving, LASTING reviews and TONS of after photos! read more

I have to say that I do not agree, at all, with Sherri L's experience. I interviewed several artists before choosing Sheryle--who does in fact have a portfolio, which includes several celebrities. Additionally, I found her prices to be in line with everyone else's. Furthermore, I do not find her work to be outdated OR painful. Sheryle's demeanor is straight forward and plain spoken--which I like very much. No unnecessary blabbering. Got my eyebrows done Thursday of last week, still waiting for them to heal fully but so far I love them! I was told that they will be dark and will fade after five days, but as sheryle said I would get use to them being darker and probably like them! Well of course she was right I do like them darker. The first time I had my permanent makeup done by Sheryle years ago she knew exactly which colors to choose for me and explained why I would look my best using these colors. I went thinking I wanted one color for my lips and she suggested a similar but cooler color she applied it , and after the few days healing they were so beautiful I've only got compiments on them as i continue to have her apply that color. I recently did eyeliner [which I never wore before] I must say Sheryle was very patient with me [I was a squirmer]. My eyes are gourgeous . They make me look 10 years younger at least. Finally, I had Sheryle fill in my thinning hairline. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and can't wait to see what it looks like after the 2nd treatment. As a bit of background, after far too many perms, weaves and die my hair line was wrecked. I can now wear my hair pulled back and with a new hairline. I don't feel compelled to pull it back to tight or apply messy colored pomade or that get on my sheets and clothes ---powders. Wonderful. BTW, if you use strong exfoliation solutions you may require touchups annually (I had the brows retouched, as well). I paid $500 for an application and then a touch up, with both of those my eyebrows only stayed for a year. They were beautiful and the perfect color, but not worth the price. My grandmother also agreed that the application didn't last on her brows. read more

I first met Sheryle over 12 years ago when my 65 year old mother told me about her. Mom had used her for brows and lips since age had diminished the natural colors in those areas. She also had eyeliner work done, which looked natural too. She looked amazing and totally natural with her 'tattoos'. How nice to wake up in the morning with a natural more youthful face. After seeing my mom it was a no-brainer that this was a great find. I have gone to Sheryle for years since. (Now living 6 hours away it is still on my radar map when traveling that direction to get a touch up.) She is just that good. There are people where I now live that do this work, but I just know I will get the best results at New Age Glamour. Sheryle blends colors and applies the 'makeup' perfectly. I'm so glad I spent the money on my "corrected" brows!! I really didn't want "pink" eyebrows and mine were a challenge for Sheryle. She was up to the challenge, getting rid of my charcoal grey ??? brows that had extensive scar tissue due to the "other" procedure I had a year prior! (I have blond hair!)
