WOW!!! I am 110% happy with my first tattoo!!! I read reviews, looked at pictures in the reviews throughout the Melbourne, Viera, and Palm Bay area. I decided that I had to get Ally to do my tattoo! I had a consultation with her, and scheduled an appointment. Today, Ally was so amazing. She pays such attention to detail!!! I showed her pictures, discussed what I wanted---she definitely delivered it!!! Every person that I met, or talked to on the phone at this business, was courteous, professional and so nice! I do think that I do have a "New Addiction" !!!! I've already started thinking of what I'm going to get next! Thank you Ally, and New Addiction Tattoos-Melbourne. Fl!! You are #1!!!! read more

I'm new to Melbourne & went to this establishment with my mom on a Friday night approx 40 mins before closing looking to cure a random piercing itch. We both wanted our belly buttons pierced. No one greeted us upon arrival & I was quoted $170 each for 1 belly button piercing including jewelry. I asked about different jewelry & was quoted $110 Each Now I just got a dermal piercing in my face at another shop (they were closed) & only paid $90 including jewelry. I've had many piercings over the years & have never heard of such pricing especially for a belly button! So I'm Not sure why this place was so astronomically priced. Based on that I would not recommend read more

Got my helix by Coty, amazing service! Went in as a walk in last summer in June. Healed beautifully and no complaints at all. Expensive? Yes. But... you certainly get what you pay for. Clean and professional, and very friendly as I came in nervous and by myself. I wanna get more and I don't think I could go anywhere else! read more

I came here because I saw how nice the piercing display looked online. since it reminded me of a professional place in Miami. I wasn't sure who to pick as my piercer so when you book it gives you the option to let the shop choose for you. So when it was confirmed Mike(the veteran piercer was picked for me). I wanted to send an email but I don't see one on the site and I'm not coming back. I've given so many places in this city a second chance and I'm done. When I first walked in I was quoted $60 something by Savana for 2 reopening with jewelry included and $90 something for new piercings and the jewelry included ( I was priced before I was pierced and was not told the jewelry was sold in two parts). I arrived a little early because a lady was here with purple and black hair In front of me and I don't recall being greeted when I walked in. I was on time but asked if it was okay to leave and come back and she said yes, no fee or anything discussed for coming back about 4 minutes after my scheduled time. But when I came back and found my ears needed to re pierced I choose one ear piercing instead of two to allow myself to sleep on my other side at night (makes sense). Which came out to be around $56. I was told $25 for the one new piercing ($5 military discount) and $15 for the front jewelry and $15 for the back jewelry. So when I thought back about my overall pricing it didn't make sense. Plus mike is married and I felt like the reaching to my hair and complement he made was unprofessional/disrespectful to myself and his spouse coming from a married man. I didn't see the ring until a while after and I found no interest at all Before and after the ring. I just came here for a piercing and good customer service. I asked him where the needles came from. He told me they arrive in a package and they just run it back in the machine to clean. I was told it was free to change the color of my jewelry to match my gold which they both recommended. I choose titanium which was changed to a yellow color he kept saying. He was really big on the yellow. Another thing I should have been shown the jewelry/needle before and after the machine. Trust but verify. I was very distracted and not paying attention Because while it was in the machine I went to grab a water. And when I came back he said it would be done. So when I sat down my back was to him and the machine. Yes, I was cordial through this process, yes he answered all my questions. But at the end of the day it's nice to have things be professional from a man with a ring on. I don't play those type of games. With Savana the pricing was off and lack of enthusiasm with answering questions. But she put allot of effort into constantly trying to recommend jewelry to me she felt was cute while I was trying to figure out what I wanted. She did it at least 2-3 times with what she thought was cute, she's really big on turtles I guess because she kept pointing at them. I was frustrated and annoyed. I try not to take offense to minor things but the overall experience was a weird experience and uncomfortable. I truly tried to make the best out of it and give this place a chance but some things you just can't shake how it leaves you feeling. Something felt off here. I played it cool and said see you next year but that was a lie Because I felt the moment I showed any frustration or annoyance I would have been treated differently. I have no need to lie and I wanted to be honest about my experience. I also tipped despite it all. I choose to be/do better at the end of the day. I've learned from my elders that it's a full circle and you get what you give. And I just wouldn't have did the things or made anyone feel how I felt when I was here. I went along to see this process fully through when I could have left. It's hard to describe the experience it just didn't feel genuine even though it seems like they were helpful and it seemed as if I was having a good time. Its like the annoying/uncomfortable things they did took away from the entire experience. And maybe because I stayed and didn't show any frustration they felt their actions were okay and they weren't OKAY. I like to let people do them so I can choose if I will accept or not accept it. Hence me not coming back. It truly threw me off. But I figured this is my home and if I ever have kids I can say this is a place I wouldn't recommend to my child or anyone's child for the matter. I hope this changes the way they handle people in the future. Good luck. read more

Place is decent and clean but they will sure scam their way in overcharging you without telling you until you are checking out. I was given a price for a piercing and asked twice if that was what I would be paying and it doubled when I checked out. I was quite annoyed and won't go back. read more

We had a great experience here going to get a nose piercing. The man had a lot to juggle honestly because there was a line! He would get it cleaned and wiped down, get the paper work up, let us pick out the jewelry, and pay after the piercing. He made sure to give good instructions on how to care for the piercing. When we were paying there was more people coming in for piercings. There were a few people coming in for tattoos too. 5 stars for the speedy and seamless process to get in and out. He was very organized. I cannot give feedback for the tattoos. This is strictly for the piercing. read more

I just had a cover up tattoo done by Justin. It was a Mermaid and I had Justion cover it up with the head of a male lion. I had to wait about 2 1/2 weeks to see Justin as he is booked far in advance (because he is an amazing tattoo artist). I arrived at my appointment , I told Justin what I wanted and we found the perfect image of a male lion. He prepared my arm for the tattoo and then he got started. The process took almost 4 hours, but boy was it worth it. I couldn't be happier. Some of the other artists in the shop came over to watch and they all thought it was very cool. I highly recommend Justin if you want an incredible tattoo. He is very professional, friendly and talented. The tattoo shop was very clean and the staff were very professional. read more

Mikey (@mikebodypiercer Instagram) at the Rockledge location was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable, efficient and is certified by the APP. My daughter and I both got a Daith piercing and she got an additional cartridge piercing. We chose the Titanium jewelry which was mid-range in price. For three piercings and jewelry with a 20% tip it was $320. This isn't a mall gun piercing experience or price. This is a professional piercer who uses clean, sanitized needles to do body piercings. If you want specialty piercings, I believe this is the best place in Brevard County. read more

I got a tattoo here, the artist was a bald white guy (forgot his name) was pretty rude throughout the entire experience, I was asking questions because it was my first tattoo and it just seemed like he was annoyed I was there. After the tattoo was done he gave me no instructions on how to treat it, after I told him it was my first one. He gave me a paper towel to cover the tattoo and when I got home i noticed the ink bled onto the paper towel, I asked my tatted friends about it and they all said that is NOT how they're supposed to be treated. All in all it was a pretty annoying and unprofessional experience, as a customer I was very unsatisfied and wished I had went somewhere else. I've had friends that went here for piercings and heard it was a good experience but if you're trying to get a tattoo I would personally go somewhere else. I will not be coming back here again. read more

VERY OVER PRICED AND UNDER KNOWLEDGED I'm not sure the name of my piercer but he was very controlling and didn't care a word of what I had to say, he demanded me and the girl who worked there. She kept saying things like "he'll get mad" "or "oh no he hates things like this" made for a very hostile and uncomfortable environment. The only good thing is my piercings were in the correct spot and done correctly. The piercer on the other hand kept giving customers and me false information that was only for extra money to be spent. I was very disappointed because I've gotten 2 tattoos here and they are great read more

Going in took the shop my first time was nerve racking. I was recommended to see Kat and she was covered in all these sweet looking tatttoos that made my idea seem stupid. However, she was very welcoming and finished in under an hour with great quality. I just had my second tattoo finished today and I'm in love with it. Marc was very accommodating when I asked to have my tattoo completed by Kat even though I was initially booked with him. Great staff and great artists read more

I read quite a few reviews about how expensive piercing was here. The bulk of the price was for good jewelry that won't cause infection and will last. If you want cheap jewelry and a chance of infection, go somewhere else. If you want great service and great jewelry that will last, this is the place for you. They took the time to go over everything with my daughter and make sure she understood how to take care of her septum piercing. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. I will never go anywhere else for tattoos or piercings. I've been coming here for years. Marc is the best tattoo artist and Mikey is the best piercer. If you have hesitations, put them to rest. Very professional and polite. The place is clean and organized. The jewelry selection is good, kinda pricey but well worth it. I don't want any infections because I price shopped and ended up using cheap lead laden jewelry. Spend the money and get quality. When you're coming inyo a place to get your 1st piercing, a guy or gal with tattoos and facial piercings can look intimidating but at the same time, if I'm getting tatted or pierced, it makes sense to have someone that is pierced or tatted. Don't let the bad ass looks fool ya; these guys are all the way super cool. Check their work on FB, Intagram or Tumbler. I've had my nose pierced and have since returned for additional piercings. I received the same friendly treatment on the 2nd visit so it wasn't just a "good" day. This last visit, I was lucky enough that there were two piercers and was able to receive both piercings at the same time. If possible, I highly recommend this way over one at a time. They must have gone through several sets of gloves a piece; this along with knowing the chair was just cleaned made me very comfortable. As I've gotten all that I want pierced, I probably won't be in the piercing room again but maybe I'll make it over to the tattoo side. read more

They seemed fine but then the girl (ally) LITERALLY drew a line on the top of my hand by mistake!!!! how does someone do this??? now I have a permanent line on my hand and I'm so mad. May 29th, 2018 Update: I was in contact with Mikey, nice and helpful. However, when I went to go get the tattoo (they accidentally drew on my hand WITHOUT permission) removed I was left with 3 unanswered emails AND they have done nothing about this. They gave me my money back but how do they mess up then not pay for the removal. NOW I have to pay $400 out of pocket for THEIR mistake... Very unhappy read more

THIS IS A RACIST ESTABLISHMENT! BEWARE!!! I'm an African-American woman in my late 20's. This is the first time I've ever had to leave a negative review for any place of business, but I want everyone to know how they treat people of color. I came into this establishment on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 shortly before 5pm. Upon entering, I noticed a white woman sitting outside on a bench. I walked past her and entered into New Addiction Tattoo Parlor. After entering, I met eyes with a white male employee who was closest to the entrance. He noticed me as well but turned away almost instantly.. I stood in the lobby area and patiently waited. About one minute later, I met eyes with another employee, who appeared to be of the oriental background; he had just come out of a back room; he stared at me for about 4 seconds and then proceeded about his business.. At this point I noticed that the white woman who had been sitting outside on the bench was coming inside the door. She proceed behind the cash register counter; and I'm now coming to the realization that she too is an employee. In that moment, I thought she was preparing to address my presence and offer service to me but she only grabbed her handbag and began to interact with another white male (unknown if he was an employee). They spoke for a few minutes and then both proceeded out the door. I began to look at the time in my phone and noticed that i had been standing there for about 3 minutes. There was one other employee who was beginning to work on a tattoo. He too glanced at me but continued assisting his customer.. After approximately 4 minutes and 30 seconds of standing in the lobby, I decided to leave. I walked out the door and noticed that the white woman from behind the cash register counter was standing outside conversing leisurely with same previously mentioned white male. I walked past them both, got into my vehicle and left the parking lot. No one ever even acknowledged my presence at this place of business. It reminded me of the days when coloreds were not welcomed in certain places.. It's unfortunate that in the year 2020 racism still so bodily exists. Please beware of this place. read more

I have been told iffy things about new addiction but their ratings are overall good so i went to get my septum pierced. I needed to be able to hide it for my job and told them that so they gave me and my friend retainers without explaining we could get the standard septum ring and hide that too, which i would've got instead. The initial needle through my nose wasn't bad but when the piercer had realized that the piercing wasn't straight she was trying to fix it and was touching it constantly which caused me to be very light headed and sick feeling (which can happen in any situation and isn't necessarily the piercers fault) but i had eaten and tried to make sure that wouldn't happen. Then she only allowed me to look at the piercing for a maybe second. I couldn't tell that it was slanted when i looked and then she proceeded to put it up my nose so i couldn't see which we were unaware that was the only way the retainers can be in your nose or it'll fall out before getting pierced. We were told to not flip it down for 4-6 weeks but being curious since i didn't really get to see it, i flipped it down. Because of the square retainer and the slanted piercing the jewelry is almost pointing all the way to the side. And when we left we weren't told any care procedures which is odd since this is my 17th piercing and was never not told the after care procedures. The piercer was very nice that wasn't an issue but the experience was just too off for me to every return or recommend anyone else. read more

I've had 3 experiences now here with Mikey, whom I highly suggest to anybody considering a piercing done. I have had my nostril and belly pierced in the past, both which healed wonderfully with 0 issues whatsoever. Today, I was very very pleased with my service and level of care Mikey provides. I had a cartilage piercing in my upper ear done recently by a different studio, and I noticed the site was swelling and problematic. I went in to see Mikey because they are closer to me than the other studio in which the ear was done, and Mikey was more than willing to help. He immediately noticed the swelling and took measures to remove the piercing right away. The initial piercing wasn't even done at this location, and he still helped remove it when it became problematic and is very knowledgeable about piercings. I 100% suggest New Addiction and Mikey to anybody looking for a piercing. Mikey is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and really knows his stuff. He will take the time and select the right type and shape of piercing for you and assure you leave satisfied every time. read more

The service was excellent and the piercer knew exactly what he was doing and even had to have me pick a different earring to pierce my tragus because my tragus was too small for the earring a picked. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is because it's very expensive. My tragus was $120 where if I went to another parlor it would've been $50 but I only went here because I did it with my friend for her birthday and she picked here. Very good work, but too expensive. read more

I have done over a thousand dollars worth in two tattoos with Marc in the last two months, (a great tattoos artist) in this shop and its the first place that I know where one employee refused to do additional tattoos to a customer if the original artist is on vacation. Took my 5yr old daughter in to get her ears pierced by a professional instead of the typical store at the mall. I would highly recommend this route instead of the 'guns' other places use to basically shoot the earing through the ear. This is way less painful and traumatic.Tirza was amazing. She told us up front what to expect and that she requires my daughter to say she wants the piercing, plus wouldn't do it if she cried. Totally understandable and great policy. She was clean, professional, precise, and gentle. My daughter was super happy after. It was a great experience. I'll be back for my own piercings :) read more
