Really, really like this place. They were having a huge dollar days sale last weekend (lots of items were $1.00 and everything else was 30% off). I was able to get 10 t-shirts for my son (7 of them brand new), a pair of gently used athletic pants, 2 brand new sweatsuits, a bag of skylanders toys, 2 transformers brand new in box and a brand new life jacket with floaties for $37.00. I've purchased items in the past and received a bit of an attitude but I just always thought it was that they were busy and never thought too much on it but now with the last few times that I've made phone calls to speak to them I felt I really had to share my experience.. It's impossible to get in to sell any items so we're in June and I have an appointment in October!!.. Then they have a long list of set of rules of when, how, and also specifics in what items they'll purchase and every time you call to check if they have room the rules change and from what the last person I talked to told me I guess it depends on who you speak to.. I love this store! My 6 year old daughter used to never want to part with her clothes. Now under my guidance, she "sells" them, receives her credit, and she picks out her new clothes. It's become a valuable teaching tool for her, and she is now eager to get rid of clothes that are too small. We have also purchased all of our large baby items there, such as swings, play pens, jumpers, etc. Some of the counter girls are not as friendly as I would wish, but I won't knock them a star because I appreciate this store so much. :) read more

The lady here is so rude! I came in one day to sell and she told me I needed an appointment but on my appointment it can only be 9 months and older and younger it needed to be brought in on walk in Wednesday. I came on a Wednesday at 1:02 and she proceeded to tell me they close the walk ins at 1.. You have got to be kidding me no one ever told me that they close it at a certain time and she also said that they will close it sooner if they get overbooked. If it's a walk in how do you get overbooked? Do I need an appoinment?. She ignored me after she told me that. I will never come back here. Their clothes are dirty as is the store read more

Visited this place numerous times & like other people have said the clothes are dingy & outdated. Things are dirty & not gently used, more like roughly abused & they have the nerve to ask outrageous prices for this junk!! I guess that's what you get for dealing with the AV. Decided to visit his store today to look for nice, used gifts for my kids for Christmas. Although they had a pretty large selection I found a lot of the stuff I was looking at was disgustingly dirty. Dirt, food, grime. Do the decency and wipe down the stuff your trying to sell. I probably won't be back. read more

I go here once in a while and I find something every time I go. You just have to really look. The only thing that bothered me was one of the women who was there the last time I went in December. I believe she was either a manager or the owner maybe? Because the other women were asking her to price things that didn't have a tag. She was very condescending and rude! I bought $30 worth of clothing... I don't understand the rudeness. I'm a shy person so it's hard for me to be rude so I don't think I did anything to be treated that way. I noticed she was a little snappy with other customers as well. She just seemed maybe stressed? Or bothered? I felt bad for her that she's obviously unhappy, but still at least be fake for your customers! It's not that hard! UPDATE: I called in today to see if they had a certain type of clothing that I was looking for and the woman on the phone was super nice she looked through everything while I was on the phone and checked sizes to put one on hold for me. Do not give this business your money...The other day me and my 3 year old son walked in the store...The ladies working in the store were very rude..All 3 of them completely ignored us even as we walked right past them...,We were the only people in the whole store so none of them were busy...After browsing for a while I bumped into my sons size..I saw size 4 but did not see 4T after going thru almost 10 pairs of jeans in that section..I asked one of the ladies where are the 4T clothes she laughed and replied that 4T is the same exact size as a regular 4...which is not true..so rude and catty for no reason read more

Poor customer service from when I walked in. The lady took forever to get to the front desk, didn't greet me but instead "selling something?" So I politely say "I hope so, or a trade!" Keep in mind, this is after calling in and asking if they would accept items, I got told sure bring it on in. The lady doesn't look at the item I'm trying to trade(a bassinet) but just asks if I have the toys that hang from the top. Before letting me explain I did not have them with me but can get them, or explain you can tie up other little toys to work the same, she chooses to cut me off saying "if there's no toys I won't take it." Then walks away from me. No sorry, no second look, horrible customer service. Lady was, sorry, but was a bitch. Offended by the customer service, I politely picked up my bassinet and left. On my way out I notice the same exact bassinet I brought in only pink, that one didn't have toys on it either. So how come someone else could sell their item to them that was in worse condition then mine, with toys missing. But she couldn't give the time to take a look at the one I brought in. As I'm loading my stuff up, and other mom with her kids has to load up all her stuff because they wouldn't accept it either. Hers were all in great condition as well! You guys should teach your employees better customer service, especially when the store is dead empty so I'm sure they aren't too busy. Because now you have lost another customers purchases and respect. I know I'm not the only one this has happened to, I've been told. But I will write a review for you guys since you never seem to think anything may be wrong. Look it's a consignment store so expect to get "used" stuff and not brand new. I know how consignment stores work and when you sell your stuff you only get about 20% of what's it worth because they sell it for 40% to 50% of what it retails for. I love going to consignment stores and selling my stuff to them, it's one less of a headache. Going onto craigslist or driving further to get an extra buck at another location isn't worth my time I have a little one to take care of and a husband to attend to so if I can just go in one shot to one location trade,sell, and shop. It's a done deal for me. Been here a few times I wasn't disappointed, it was very very very! Well organized and spacious location was easy to find and they have awesome sales every once in a while. It just a 4 just because the toys they do display they should wiped down every so often because kids that come in do play with them and all the clutter they have on there back counter is tacky. And should have a fb with Constant postings of there newest items. (Forgive me if they do I haven't came across it then) read more

I love consignment shops, so I was really hoping to find at least a few good things here. I didn't buy anything. The toys were WAY overpriced. Even the clothes were all overpriced. At Once Upon a Child, I get pajamas for $2.50...here they were $3.78, and dingy. They had a few decent things but I wouldn't pay that much for used things. read more

Pretty good child based thrift/consignment store. I usually only go for clothing, books and small toys. Any larger toys and baby gear I usually find way overpriced for used items. I'm not a person expecting a huge discount but I find them kind of unrealistic. Store is pretty well organized considering I always see kids running around playing with things. The staff is always nice. I've never attempted to sell my items so I can't comment on that. read more

Went it to sell some of my daughters clothes. First to start of the customer service sucks the lady that looked over the clothes literally had no costumer service skills. She did noT explain anything of the process such as how much you get per item. Every single thing I took in was in great condition. She spoke to me in very little words like I was a child and must have all items lined up perfectly before she would look at them. I had a huge box of boys husky school uniforms half had not been worn but she wouldn't take them because they were 16/18 husky. I guess she doesn't realize there are husky kids that need clothes too and are very expensive and hard to find. She poo poo all the school uniforms. Then it came time for my daughters clothes many maybe worn once ALL from Tillys. We all know 1 shirt costs $30+ She decided on a pile she would take, but never told me how many item. Stow faced the entire time. So if your looking for a great deal and want some brand new Tillys clothes go visit this very nice (sarcasm) lady. I walked away with $21.00. Yes I said $21.00. GLAD YOU ALL ARE GETTING A GREAT DEAL WHILE THIS LADY TAKES COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY ON THEIR CHILDRENS CLOTHES. read more
