They have a really good selection of art and prints. I found a Bee & Thistle print I had to have, and they even put it in a mailing tube so that I can send it home and not have to carry it around with me. Their gift shop has a great selection of jewelry, souvenirs, and gifts for loved ones back home. Many things you cannot find in the bigger cities here, as they are local made. The cafe in the back has wonderful homemade food. We had soup and toasties (grilled cheese sealed in a pie iron), and the quiche of the day, which were all really good. The desserts will tempt you to take them home with you. Its definitely a nice place to stop while touring the Glencoe valley.

They have a small variety of sweet housemade baked goods, coffee, and icecream. If you get lucky some boats may be going through the canals during your visit. If you see this, it's not a normal thing so I would definitely stop and check it out for a bit. Loch Ness will always be there but boats going through the canal will not. The main reason the kids wanted to come was for some kind fo keepsake from Loch Ness and they will have everything you want covered. There is a child's Nessie themed book section but they were too heavy for our carryons and ultimately the kids ended up with some Nessie stuffed animals. They have some well designed lighter weight gifts like postcards as well.

It was the prettiest orange color and came with some seriously hearty brown brood (that's Scottish for bread). Scone-moist with raisins. It was good by itself but then you add the raspberry jam andhwhipped cream(not sweet-think more like whipped butter) and watch out! I may never leave. The tea was hot and spot on with the scone. Ice cream-they call it ice cream but it was more like frozen custard. Rich, thick and creamy!!! So good. I got traditional flavor-like vanilla. They have a great view of the loch and the castle. There's great outdoors seating and a trail down to a viewing point. This place is great!!! Come for the view and stay for the food. It's so worth a stop.

We went every day on our weeks holiday in March and it was never that busy, however returned in August and it was mobbed! There is also a nice little gift shop at the main entrance. The cafe itself serves rolls/sandwiches and homemade soup. But the really best bit is the homemade baking the scones and tarts and cakes are amazing. The vegetarian pizza was solid, although a few too many vegetables included for my personal taste (I prefer pizza with two to three items). And the standard margherita pizza was a winner. Finally, here's a piece of advice: If you're driving from Edinburgh to the Glen Coe area like we were, and you're thinking about stopping for lunch on the way, consider that once you pass Stirling and a couple of smaller towns just beyond there, dining options are few and far between in this magical area.
