The big Mac tasted off from the normal Big Macs I have. Don't know if the meat was rancid or the sauce over aged from not rotating product on deliveries. One has to look into it as these are high volume operations. My best guess is new product deliveries are being placed in front of older product and not being properly rotated until the get to the bottom of the heap and into old stuff. The only other suspicion would be sanitation is very poorly handled and are having crossover contamination is happening. This is not good when as from both my episodes with this unit is horrible with major nausea and dry heaves for the next 24 hours.

Where our gate is located, a French style restaurant that has sandwiches. I wasn't interested in that at all. I saw that there is counter seats so I walked in to Dino's. I ordered and watched how they prepared everything. It was sort of like a George Foreman Grill behind the counter building each burger and sandwich. It was cutting it close for departure time so I asked for my order to go. I finished my pina so I grabbed another drink. Ketchup and mustard packets available but generic brands which tasted weird. I think this place is the better choice near this gate.

It came with beans and fresh squeezed orange juice. I added a coffee to my order. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was like it was made at home, and very good. It is authentic Mexican food. They use all natural ingredients and even make their own mole. I did not realize their coffee is cafe de olla until I got to my table. This is a special kind of Mexican coffee which is quite good if you are in the mood for it. But it has a very unique flavor. The coffee is prepared in a clay pot, and they add raw sugar (known in Mexico as "piloncillo", or in Colombia as "panela"). All the flavors, including the taste of the clay pot come through in the coffee if it is authentic. This was. If that does not sound good to you, you can always get your coffee at Starbucks or at the 7-Eleven across the way. Since this restaurant is more like a food stand within a food court, the bathrooms are serviced by the airport not the restaurant. There is one common area with tables and chairs for dining. There are a few places which offer power outlets to recharge your devices. For what it is, this establishment does a very good job. After you dine, if you have the time, I recommend you go by the Memoria Fotográfica de México on your way back into the check-in area and to your gate.
