I went to these folks for a foreclosure process on a commercial property. They told me what to do regarding certified mail, letter and demands and helped me by filling them out. I followed their instructions, 2 and 1/2 years later the court ruled the foreclosure process was not in accordance with the current laws. The court ruled I was at fault for improper notifications and interfering with an existing contractual agreement and therefore I lost the foreclosure process and all the attorneys fees associated with the suit.
It seems the office manager forgot to record a re-assignment back to me of the Deed of Trust prior to filing the foreclosure thus validating the courts decision.
The owner and attorney of this company checked all of my files and records prior to the court battle and taking the case he said it was all in order that is precisely why he took the case but he neglected to check his staffs process and procedures.
Consequently yes, I lost the case that included, forced insurance I paid out for insurance of over $2000.00 , 45 late fees at $125.00 each, all of the cost for the foreclosure fees I paid in advance of about $ 4000.00 and the legal bills for countless hours for litigation for 2 and 1/2 years of litigation. I would not trust them again. I requested a return of a portion of the funds that I paid out and to no avail, they flatly refused and said it was all my fault.
Filed a complaint with the state bar, they stated there was not enough evidence for them to do anything.
