We decided to invest in rolling shutters for crime prevention and temperature control. We had existing shutters from the other large company in LV. We received estimates from both. Not only was Nevada Rolling Shutter a better value, they provided exceptional customer service. Logan came to the house and prepared the estimate. Logan was prompt and friendly and would always respond to a text or call. Shutters were installed in little over 1 day (13 shutters) within the promised time frame. Everything worked as promised, no hidden costs and they even were able to add a last minute shutter to the order and install the same day as the others. Crew was friendly and left the work area clean. Honest, fair price, friendly and deliver as promised. Difficult to find these days. Highly recommended! read more

The product Nevada Rolling Shutters sells is great. It is exactly what I was looking for to secure our home when we take trips out of town. My initial meeting with Scott went great. He was knowledgeable about the product and could answer any question I had. Install went great. The guys that came out were on time, courteous, professional and left the property totally cleaned up when they left. The shutters look great from the outside of the house, are easy to use and we anticipate they will help block the heat a little this coming summer too. We did half of the windows on our home and were planning on doing the other half of the home later this year. The customer service is great too. I had one post install question that needed some clarification and I had several people at the company reach out to me to get it taken care of the very next day. We're very happy with the product and don't have to worry about a thing when it comes to the security of those windows. Thanks guys. read more

Hands down one the best contractors I've ever dealt with. The product was absolutely the best on the market. I am German and lived in Germany up till about 7 years ago. I'm familiar with Nevada Rolling Shutters supplier. It's 100% direct from Germany unlike that of the only competitor in town. I did get bids from both companies. That of the competition was actually more money and much less quality and not even half the warranty lol! The sales person that came to our home from the competition was pushy and rather rude. Also had little to no knowledge of custom installs or product background. Seemed very shady to us. And they even tried to bind us to a contract after 30 mins for close to 30 grand! Couldn't believe how unprofessional they were! By the way come to find out the sales person happened to be the owner of the company! And Then I noticed she even left a review on her own companies Yelp page due to all the negative feedback acting as if she was a regular customer! Unreal! Now Nevada Rolling Shutter came after the first company. Right from the start it was polar opposites. Their salesman Scott was awesome! Not only showed us 100's of install pics but explained how they could custom fit parts of the shutters to keep our home very factory looking. He had basically every component of the shutter with him to show. He built incredible value in both their product and they're company. It's a father and sons company. They have 35 years experience in their field and it shows. We signed and ordered them right away on the sales call. Scott even invited us to their showroom if we wanted to see how their production went and worked during their hand built construction of our shutters which are built by the family right here in Vegas. It's the same family that installs them. Not sub contractors and nonsense like the other company. When our install time came around we were blown away. The level of craftsmanship to the level of dedication to their customers was exactly what our salesman Scott said it would be. The family came (father & sons) with a few of their installers and busted their buts to get it all done. It was a large home and a lot of work. The General Manager Logan (one of the sons) was amazing. Took over an hour at end of day walking us through everything and showing us all the details. They cleaned up our home more then it was when they arrived as if it was their own home. Our sales guy even called us at the end of the install day to make sure we were 100% happy. We are referring everyone we know to them now. They also pointed out for us something a lot of people don't know. It's actually illegal for HOA's to turn these down. Nevada Rolling Shutter assisted with changing laws pertaining to HOA's and security shutter in 2004. This can all be researched online as Scott showed us. We can't thank you guys enough!!! read more

Best place and contractors we've done business with in Vegas Valley hands down! We are locals and have been for 30+ years. From start to finish we had known we selected the right company for the job! Like most consumers now a days we did our research before making our decision. Although we had friends that were completely satisfied who had used Nevada Rolling Shutter we still like anyone wanted to shop. After seeing that there was really only one other company in town that does security shutters we began doing our homework. After checking with Angie's List, Google, Yelp, and contractors board it was time to visit both companies. We went to both locations and spoke with staff. First off from the minute we walked in the door of Nevada Rolling Shutter we knew that was who we were going to go with. These guys have been doing this type of work since the late 70's. The young man working stopped what he was doing to assit us with questions and show us displays with different operations for the shutters. We had heard that this was a family owned and operated company and it 100% is. You just get that welcome and part of the family feeling with these guys. We did not get that at all from the competitor. Next we had their sales rep Scott come to our home. As soon as he got there (10 mins early) he talked with us for a while, played with our dogs and even had dog treats in his bag for the dogs. By the end of his presentation we weren't only customers but we were also friends as far as we were concerned. We saw no other reason to call the competitor and signed on the spot. Their product is hands down true German imported and they are the only ones that import it. They only use one brand of premium motors (Somfy) unlike competition. Their warranty is twice that of the competition. After your 5 year warranty is up they give you a lifetime on some of the mechanical parts. No one offers that good of a warranty that we saw! The install went perfectly. The father and sons with a crew came to do the install. They did have a licensed electrician from Able Electric preform the electrical part of install. They had someone cleaning up as the entire job as it was installed. After the job was installed one of the sons Logan walked us through everything and made sure we were 100% satisfied before collecting the balance due. The house was perfect not any trash or debris anywhere. Trust us no need to use anyone else in town! Thank You Nevada Rolling Shutter! read more

In June I went shopping for rolling shutters, I decided I should visit the company showrooms. First I went to Rolladen Rolling shutter. I didn't have to make an appointment and the office staff greeted me and explain in detail about their products and provided me with brochures etc. A day or two later, I searched for Nevada Rolling Shutter's location on S. Highland Dr, as they sometimes say first impressions speak volumes. Upon finally finding them I couldn't believe what I saw....and immediately turned around and left. read more

One of our shutters stopped working so I called them for repairs. They were very courteous and professional and Logan contacted me the same day to schedule the work. They arrived right on time and did a quick, professional job. The cost was considerably less than I expected and I'm a very happy customer. I recommend them highly. read more

I just want to update my review. I hope it doesn't delete the original! .. I recommend to anyone that considering the shutters to spring the extra $$ for the motorized vs manual crank. I chose to only put a motorized one on my back sliding glass window and the other rooms a manual lift. Unless it's a window you rarely open, believe me, the extra money is worth it. read more

There are very few businesses in the Las Vegas area that we can highly recommend with absolute confidence. Nevada Rolling Shutters is by far the number one. They have installed these beautiful shutters on every window and door on our home. The number one, five star rating is given as they are one of few who say what they will do and do what they say! Very rare these days!! Nevada Rolling Shutters gave us the best quote, showed up for the installation on time everyday, did beautiful work, were very polite, and did a through cleanup when done each day. Logan was our point man and treated us like we were his only customers, even showing up one late night with a helper, when we accidentally closed our large door shutter on a lawn chair we placed in the wrong spot. How many companies would provide that kind of service? We highly recommend Nevada Rolling Shutters to anyone looking for a fair price, excellent service, a great product and people who really care about their customer, both before and after the sale!!! My shutter made a horrible noise and would not open. Logan and another worker came right out and they were very pleasant young men that did the job quickly and efficiently! Very happy with Nevada Rolling Shutters. We bought our house with shutters on ALL windows and doors. We have had 2 issues with them..minor..they were installed in 1997! Great product and super great customer service which is tough to find these days! read more

We had a problem with our rolladens today. We called Nevada rolling shutters. They said they could be there within two hours, and they were. Nevada rolling shutters sent our two of the nicest professionals we could hope for in this city. They worked fast and fixed the problem. They even informed us how to prevent this problem from happening again. We live in Siena Summerlin. We would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Good job, guys. read more

Nevada Rolling Shutter folks are the best in town. No service team can compare. For over 14 years they have serviced the shutters on our home and they have always been responsive, fixed/adjusted so everything worked 100% the first time! And their pricing is fair for the good work they do. Not many businesses out there can say that anymore. Thanks. read more

Great Service! Our house has 7 electrically operated shutters (installed by another company). About once per year, one of the shutters needs repair. We call for service and about a week later, someone turns up to repair it. A couple of weeks ago, the shutter covering a sliding glass door stopped working. The first repairman said we needed a new motor - approximately $500. The second repair man said the motor is fine and we need new slats at a cost of $1000+. Last Thursday morning, another shutter stopped working. The receptionist at the other company said someone would be available the week after next. Clearly they have no sense of urgency. Later that same day, I called Nevada Rolling Shutters and spoke to Logan. He confirmed that he is able to work on a competitor's product. The very next day, he and his team came and repaired both shutters for the price of a service call - no new motor required, no new slats required! The original problem was caused by the ends of the limit switches being chewed up. Logan used a special tool to reset the switches and everything now works perfectly. We are very happy with Logan's service and, needless to say, we will be using Nevada Rolling Shutters for all our future needs! read more

I decided to purchase shutters for my mothers home beings she lives alone. I already have Nevada Rolling Shutters on my home and I'm very happy with them. I had their sales manager Scott personally come out to give me a bid. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and straight forward. I have had dealings with their competitor and felt to much pressure and trash talking rather then professionalism. Scott gave us a great deal and these guys truly take so much pride in their work. Customer service doesn't change after the sale either. It's no wonder why their reputation speaks for itself. I accidentally closed a door shutter on a chair and called Logan. He came right out the same day fixed the shutter and didn't charge me and refused to let me pay him for his time. Thanks again Scott & Logan. You guys run an excellent company! :) read more

From the estimate by Scott to the installation by their customer-focused crew, Nevada Rolling Shutters is the only company to consider. Although we had 5 bids, some lower than their estimate, there was no question we would choose NRS. Their crew, accompanied by Bruce, the owner, & 2 of his sons & others, showed considerable attention to detail during the installation, ensuring that each shutter was perfectly aligned & positioned. I was equally impressed with the care they took with both the inside & outside of my home. It's wonderful to have a contractor that stands by their excellent reputation. read more

Fixed my broken rolling shutters and did a great job. Very professional. Highly recommend.

After the recent rise in crime in my neighborhood, I decided to explore home security options. Like most, I looked into multiple products. After doing my homework on all the window treatment and door products, I found the security shutters to be the most effective. Now once making up my mind that's what I wanted I found 2 companies in Vegas that have both been doing this for decades. I have both companies in my home. Rolladen and Nevada Rolling Shutter. First off the Rolladen sales person was over 45 mins late and this was a rescheduled appointment that he requested. Then upon the sales call he was pushy and not very knowledgeable at all. I did also look into their reputation with the city code enforcement and found some issues. The next company I had out was Nevada Rolling Shutter. Scott, their sales guy, was actually a little early and very polite and professional. My husband had multiple questions as he's a building contractor, and Scott had all the answers which were 100% correct. Upon looking into their company, I found no issues with them at all. They also have the real German product unlike their competitor who claims they do (which I verified they do not although they told me differently). I decided to go with Nevada Rolling Shutter based on my homework and the pure honesty, knowledge and professionalism from Scott. Install was about 7 weeks later and the crew consisted of mostly family, father and sons. They took 3 days to do my install and it was perfect! You can certainly tell it's a family owned and family run business. About a week later, Scott reached out to me to ensure everything was ok and I was 100% satisfied. These guys truly care about their customers before, during and after the sale which is why their reputation is spotless. If your in the market for security shutters, look no further. They also did my neighbors house recently and they were just as pleased and happy. read more

I am so pleased with Nevada Rolling Shutter family owned company. We had our large home install their shutters in 2 phases. They were so prompt, proficient, polite, and their product is perfect. I checked out their competitor and it took me calling Rolladen several times, office lady failed at her job. The lady that came out to give me an estimate was nice and good. Then I started my research and found that Nevada Rolling Shutters often were called to repair the other companies problems. I had one time the need to call and Logan responded immediately and my situation was handled almost immediately. Nevada Rolling Shutters brought a big enough crew on both occasions that the work was completed in a timely fashion and to perfection!. I love these shutters for safety, keeping the winds out from blowing dust (so many commercials suggesting replacing windows - no way). These keep the heat and dust out. Thank you Bruce for having such great guys on your tech team and Logan is awesome about communication! You guys are the best! read more

What a great company!! I have two homes with Rolladen shutters that required some minor repair work and I was never able to get anyone from the company that initially installed them to return a call. I went online and found Nevada Rolling Shutters. I called and spoke with a gentleman who confirmed this company would be able to complete the repairs, gave me an estimate and I was able set up an appointment to have the work completed within a few days. Bruce and his crew were able to complete the repairs on both houses in less than an hour ... and even charged me less than what I was quoted on the phone. They were professional, friendly and I'm so thankful that original company never called me back. Thanks so much guys, you do wonderful work!! read more

Had rolling shutters installed at our home several months ago. From start to finish we had a first class experience. Scott the sales rep has been doing this for a long time, he provided a bid the day he came to our home. We did go out for a second bid but did find Nevada Rolling Shutters to be quite a bid cheaper and also the product to be better. Logan, his father and the install team installed the shutters on our home several weeks later and we couldn't be happier. A much more secure feeling with them on our home! thanks much!! read more

We can't say enough good things about this company and their employees. We absolutely love them and our new shutter. Scott, the salesman, was at our house promptly and answered all of our questions. We were quite impressed with the product and the company so we ordered immediately. Of course, they are super busy, but our shutter came in within the time period they had given us. Bruce, Bryant, and A.J. work together so efficiently and were so courteous and friendly. Our screen was installed on our patio between the house and one of the posts. It was a bit of a problem since our hot tub arrived early and was now in the way. I was afraid they would say they couldn't do it, but they didn't hesitate in finding a solution and never complained even though it took longer. Also, I had moved two hooks over where our patio lights hung, but I did not move them far enough to make room for the shutter. Bryant took them down and when they were finished with the install, he drilled two new holes and put them back up, then caulked everything. It all looks amazing and what's more, the shutter stopped that horrible west wind that destroyed our planters on our patio. Now we can enjoy our hot tub and also the privacy that the shutter provides. Don't hesitate to give them a call. You won't be disappointed. And please remember that you can change the battery on the remote yourself without having a service call! :) read more

WOW!!!! All I can say is there's no reason to shop anywhere else for security shutters! From the very beginning to the very end all I can say is how impressed we were with Nevada Rolling Shutter and their team. We found like most there's only 2 companies in the Las Vegas area that offer this product. Naturally like most consumers we shopped both companies. We found out real fast that although these companies both do rolling security shutters there's some huge differences. First off Nevada Rolling Shutter gave us a detailed tour of their facility and production process. The competition would not allow us anywhere near the production area to see what goes on. Scott with Nevada Rolling Shutter who was amazing by the way showed us that they only use one motor which is Somfy. He also showed us in their warehouse how everything comes imported from Germany. The competitor does in fact offer two lines of motors although originally they denied that and then came clean when we were at their warehouse. The 2nd brand is a China made off brand cheaper then Somfy just as Nevada Rolling Shutter informed us. So red flags there with lies from Rolladen. Also originally Rolladen had the nerve to tell us their product comes from Germany. This was a complete lie. We did our homework and found they buy their product in Texas. The company in Texas manufactures the product as well. So again lies and red flags. Then when it came time for the bids Nevada Rolling Shutter gave us our bid on the spot. The competitor actually made us wait 3 days. Then when we asked about certain things that we were educated on by Nevada Rolling Shutter they had to re-evaluate the bid and the prices changed!! Again just as Scott had told us it would happen and again red flags!! We then examined the contracts between both companies. Rolladen states on their contract that they do not guarantee against light bleeding through the slates of the shutters?? Meaning if they fail or bend there's no warranty! Nevada Rolling Shutter not only offers a lifetime warranty but also guarantees against light bleeding. Nevada Rollings product and design is much better as well. We saw multiple examples between both companies and it's very clear that this companies product is the best around. Their design and quality is easy to see. Scott their salesperson represents this company perfectly. You can tell he's very passionate and caring to their customers. Rolladens salesperson was pushy and argonaut in my opinion because we wanted to do our homework. Obviously after doing so they knew we wouldn't go with them. The install went perfect. We couldn't be happier with Nevada Rolling Shutter! Oh and it is a 100% family owned and operated. Amazing customer service and product!!!! read more

While thoroughly impressed with the sales and installation by Nevada Rolling Shutter (five stars on my sales and installation review), I'm completely unimpressed with the service side of the business. I called them out twice and both times I was disappointed in the way I was spoken to. I felt disrespected, not listened to and insulted. I requested remote control programming instructions verbally and in writing. My verbal request was denied - they don't like to have customers do this on their own. Mind you, it took a total of five minutes to reprogram my remote that stopped working for no apparent reason. Plus, I purchased the remotes. Don't I have the right to have the user manual? The message I got was that I wasn't smart enough to program a remote. I encountered the same issue again with the remote needing to be reprogrammed and sent two emails requesting the programming instructions. After two weeks, I haven't even received the courtesy of a denial. I've only been ignored. On the second service call, I invited them to leave after feeling insulted. I called someone else to evaluate fixing the problem. Fortunately, I'm resourceful and did some research. I was able to find the programming guide online and voilà, success at reprogramming. Perhaps I'm not so dumb afterall. And the other issues are being addressed. I removed all of the advertisement stickers Nevada Rolling Shutter left behind on each shutter. I don't want people to assume the appearance of the shutters tells the entire story. I want people to ask me about who I purchased the shutters from and would I use them again or recommend them. I will simply relay my experience: if you want service and respect after the sale and installation, don't use Nevada Rolling Shutter. read more

SO IMPRESSED!!!! As I am a business owner I appreciate honesty and integrity. Also being a long time Las Vegas local I've seen many fly by night companies. This was a truly amazing company to do business with! Now to be honest I was a previous customer of their competitor. I had them do my previous address not even knowing about Nevada Rolling Shutter. And it was horrible. Multiple lies, over charges, changes at my install you name it. They even uses subs for the install. And warranty!!! Ha! Forget it! That's how I came across Nevada Rolling Shutter. I had service needs and was so fed up with Rolladen that after searching I found Nevada Rolling Shutter. From the start of the initial phone call I knew these guys were so different. They came out the same day for my service needs. Not 9 days later like Rolladen. To top it off they didn't even charge me!!! I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even bought from them. When I insisted on paying they would not allow it. They simply asked to earn my business and referrals. So I recently bought new homes for myself and my mother. I kept my word and had Nevada Rolling Shutter do both homes. They came out spectacular. So much of a better product! True German product and the family installs them and builds them!!! Perfect 100%. This is a father and sons operation. You can tell from the beginning to the end. I was so impressed with their salesman Scott. I was also very impressed with owner Bruce & General Manager and one of the sons Logan. You can truly tell these guys love what they do and bend over backwards to make their customers happy. It's almost like things were in the old days with them. You can tell all these kids were raised right and care about their company very much. My installs went perfect. I received follow up calls after to insure I was totally satisfied. I have referred this company to many. This is truly the best security you can get hands down. There's no reason to even bother with anyone else. These guys are truly the best at what they do and their reputation, reviews, and customer service show it. Thanks for years of great service guys! We love you! read more

Had rolling shutters put on all my windows and doors last month. What a great company! These guys (I think 6) showed up on time as promised and set about installing the shutters. Each man had his role and they worked very fast. When they finished for the first day, you would be hard pressed to find evidence that they were even at my home! Day 2 arrival exactly on time and by noon they were cleaned up and gone! If you need some or all your windows and doors secured, I highly recommend this company. read more

So impressed! These guys were amazing from start to finish. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled about was the wait which they informed me off from the beginning. But seeing the quality and level of the install I understand why I had to wait and totally worth it. My neighbor had gone with the other company Rolladen and was very unhappy. Crappy install and multiple warranty issues due to low end product. That company does lie! They lied to my neighbor multiple times about their product and guarantees. Beware just stick with Nevada Rolling Shutter. They've done my 2nd home in Vegas and it's the best feeling of security when I'm away. They've also done 4 other homes on my street. Scott the salesman was very down to earth and really cares about his customers and the company. The install crew consisted of father and sons. A true family company to the T. Wow!! One of my shutters quit working I just knew it was going cost me a chunk of money to get fixed. Called on a Saturday morning and the guy that answered the phone told my wife that the most common problem is the battery was bad in the backup circuit (even though it shows charged). Well sure enough a quick $21 battery change fixed the problem. Now that is what I call an ethical business that could have come out and charged me for a service call. Just WOW!!! As a very high volume realtor in Las Vegas I have seen dozens of homes with rolling security shutters. I've always been a fan. I finally decided to pull the trigger and do my house. Now from the beginning I have had dealings with both companies in town with listing houses I've had. I can honestly say that I always had nothing but issues with the other company. Weeks to do a service call on their own product. Not to mention they don't seem to hold up near as good as Nevada Rolling Shutters. I have seen shutters with over 20 years on them and Nevada Rollings always look 100x better. I've never had an issue with Nevada Rolling Shutter and not to mention when I've contacted them it's almost always to fix the other companies shutters. I did decide to contact both the only 2 companies in town to make my decision. Now beings I'm in sales I'm a bit more critical then the average customer. Right from the get Rolladen was pushy, and not very knowledgeable in the technical department. When they gave me their bid it was missing a lot of critical parts like overrides for exit as well as controls in rooms. I found out this a ploy to later get more money from you. Next I contacted Nevada Rolling Shutter. From the beginning much like most of their reviews read it was very clear this was the company I wanted to go with. To me first impressions are everything. Scott was early, called me when he was on his way and was very polite and professional. No pressure and very very knowledgeable with the technical stuff. By the end of his presentation I was ready to place my order. He made absolutely sure everything was just how I wanted it and transparent before we proceeded. Again no pressure at all. I've had my shutters now for about 7 months with zero issues. Install went flawless and the crew was just as polite and professional. It's a father & sons company that's made clear when you see the pride they take in their work. Very pleased and will recommend Scott and his company to all my clients. I've had about 9 clients use them as well with zero issues and all are just as pleased as me. read more

Nevada Rolling Shutter came out and installed our shutters a few days ago. We did both bottom and top story on our home. At first when reading all the perfect reviews we were skeptical. Upon meeting their sales guy Scott we felt very comfortable with him. He was very honest and pointed out a lot of things their competition missed. We went as far as even contacting a few of his previous customers that left reviews and went to 2 of their homes to see their work. The competition had the nerve to try and say their reviews were false. I assure anyone on here we contacted 2 of their reviewed customers and saw their shutters in action. Obviously catching the other company in a direct lie. Nevada Rolling Shutter only use the real German product and do amazing on the installs. Once again Scott directed us to their supplier in Germany and we verified that's what they use. The other company told us the same thing and upon research we found that their company was not German at all and comes from Texas!! Again more lies. Nevada Rolling Shutters customers had nothing but good to say about them. Their price was actually better then the other guys and they gave us a better warranty and product. I urge anyone looking for this type of product to look no further. read more
