Periodically I have issues that I have to call them out about and they have always been fantastic and honest. Yes it's an expensive product and yes it's expensive for them to come out for any type of call but they quote you their call out rate up front. The weather we have is brutal and will cause issues when the full sun beats on them for years but I'm still happy with the product and the service Logan and his team has provided for the last 9 years. I've added more shutters, had them fix stuff that was 100% our fault, had to change a manual pull to a motor cuz it was too heavy for my elderly parents to pull up and down, had one motor go bad after 8 years and then recently had the same window which is always getting a direct beating in the sun need new slats because of some warping. I've had my shutters for about 10 years now. They are not the problem....the lack of customer service is. If something goes wrong, good luck! They will try to squeeze every nickel out of you they can. First time I realized this was when the switch failed on the shutter on my bedroom window. It got stuck in the down position a few years back. They did not put an emergency crank in (this is a fire hazard, and against code to not have one in a room with a closet, btw) I remember speaking to Logan back then who was trying to blame me for their faulty part. He wanted several hundred dollars for a new switch, plus service call and hourly fee to fix it. He was very arrogant, so I decided to just have my electrician friend get it back up, which he did. Fast forward to now. I accidentally closed my patio door shutter on my umbrella and it jammed. My mistake, yes. So I called again...and guess who shows up...Logan. Great. The vibe was weird as soon as he arrived....maybe he had notes from our last conversation...but was very cold and unfriendly. After he 'fixed' my jammed shutter, he leaves it absolutely useless as a security device with a 6" gap at the bottom. I mentioned that anyone can come and just lift it up...he just shrugged his shoulders and said "Yep, basically". His arrogance is off the charts. He removed 5 slats and just left it like that, without attempting to put them back, saying they were too bent to repair and that new slats would cost me $1,500. After he previously told me new slats wouldn't fit my shutters? Huh? Just a ploy to get more money out of me...or pure laziness. But I suspect he just wanted more money without a care in the world he just rendered my shutter useless. I literally fixed those 5 slats myself after he left. A slightly bent lip that took no time to straighten out on one slat. They now just have to be reattached at the top, which again, my trusted electrician friend to the rescue. He charged the $125 fee, plus another $75 for 5 metal pieces that cost about $3.00. So, I paid him $200 to mess up my shutter..lol. Then when I asked about paying with credit card, he said they add an additional 5% fee for credit cards. Wow. I paid cash. No words at this point..just keeps getting worse with this company. I will no longer be calling them should any other problems arise. I suspect most of these positive reviews are fake. read more

We had our entire house "rolladened". Ok - we had all of our exterior windows and doors fitted with rolladen shutters two years ago. I should have written this sooner as we were so impressed with the product and installation process. They were timely, clean, polite, and patient with our questions. I left a bad review to let others know what this company does to customers. The owner replied on yelp assuming the shutters were broken because we let it down on something. Not true. As a matter of fact there were other shutters that weren't working either, which he stated was due to wear over time(maybe true). Just shows the type of people they are that make things up to make the customer look bad. Future customers beware. They will fix the issue but will over charge in my opinion. When you call them they say they charge per hour and don't know how long it'll take until they see it plus parts. They charge more than doctors and lawyers lol. Keep an eye on the clock as they drag their feet. Rest assure it'll be a minimum of 2 hours most likely. The unfortunate part is the customer reading this post will mostly have to pick them to fix it because there are only a couple companies in town who fix them. Contracted with Nevada Rolling Shutter in the summer for almost Full House Electric Shutters. Bruce came out and did the measuring, Scott did the quoting. Install went well in early November even though, many of my Windows and Sliding Glass Doors had sub-optimal installation (gotta love Vegas); nevertheless, Bruce and his Team know their business!! Our Rolladen shutter was jammed. We gave them a shot at fixing it. They said that they would come out to look at it for $450 CASH. They would not take a check or credit card. That set off alarm bells. They said that we needed a new window. After 15 years, I could understand that. They said that our other window would need to be replaced also to be compatible with the new window. The total cost was over $5,700. We called Rolladen.They got the jammed window fixed. They said that we needed a new switch for the window. We would need another service call when the switch came in. The new switch was $45. The 2 service calls were $150 each. Total cost was $345. Compare that with the $5,700 that NRS wanted. read more

The folks did a great job of installing the shutter! It looks great! The salesman told us it would be 8-10 weeks and they came in right in that timeframe. They are super busy but once they came out to install it was like a military operation. They kept the work area clean - using tarps and picked up all their debris. They adjust the shutter properly as the patio has a down slope for water run-off. All aspects of this purchase were good. Highly recommended. This review is for 11 rolling shutters that we had installed in 2014. The shutters still function perfectly and look great. They stop a significant amount of heat and sound. Also, great theft deterent as well. I recommend NRS over Rolladen for a handful of reasons, mostly customer skills and design of the shutter holding box. Logan was my original salesperson, and he has been great throughout the years with warranty work. (We had an attempted break in that damaged one of the shutters, and one time a shutter was closed on a shovel that was leaned against the house.) They delivered everything that was promised and did the install in one day. Completely satisfied with our purchase. Would definitely do business with NRS again. read more
