You know, I often call myself, Fortune's Daughter and the fact this business is just down the road…read morefrom my is one of the reasons why. More than 20 years in the Massage Therapy world as a therapist giving massage and I love the work and receiving the work more each year. I have gone to Massage and Healing Center 6 times and each time had a different therapist. What I marvel at specifically is the excellence of each individual therapist. I have sent friends here as gifts and they report back to me their therapists were also excellent which makes me so happy. The professionalism Is beyond reproach. The rooms are cozy and super clean which is important . Often the owner is at the front desk and so gracious and warm, it's a pleasure to just show up or stop by to book. My one suggestion is, if you're like me and like to take advantage of all the possible add ons or specialties, make sure your therapist is aware of the details booked. I like to add an extra half hour of foot reflexology to the end of my main massage no matter what I booked and one time somehow therapist didn't know. She did do the whole time I paid for and she was wonderful and it was just an epic massage, period. I just need the reflexology for my neuropathy from diabetes. I can only sing the praises of the full time I received but if you're like me and need something specific tell your therapist before you start. This is a minor snafu that can happen in any high end business that offers such a plethora of therapies. Grateful to have such an excellent team of therapists an easy bike ride from my home

I set up my appointment online which was very easy and got a confirmation for my appointment right away with details on time, massage therapist, and address. I showed up 10 minutes early for appointment to fill out paperwork. My massage therapist, Dawn, was very approachable, kind, and helpful. The clinic is very small, clean, and comfortable. I had a 60 minute $70 therapeutic massage. Dawn really focused on my desired areas and was fantastic. I felt so relaxed and better after my visit. I'll definitely be back in the future.

I am new in Indianapolis and was seeking a new massage therapist/studio. I lived in Santa Fe for 30…read moreyears-a mecca for healing so I was delighted when I saw some good reviews and booked and pre-paid for a massage with Teresa. On the following Monday, I received an email that I was late for my appointment. I emailed back and said I had never received a confirmation from their website and just noticed it never got in my calendar. Later that day, Teresa emailed back and said that I hadn't checked some boxes on the site so they could call me, not only was she not going to reschedule my pre-paid appointment, but that on top of my pre-paid massage that she was not going to re-schedule, I also owed them an additional $25 according to her online scheduling system. Now, as an online business owner myself, I can understand tech glitches, miscommunications and a lot of things that can and do happen. However, this takes the cake in terms of unprofessionalism with zero communication. Also, as a new client, booking for the first time (and pre-paying) this is not only bad business, it's actually lacking emotional intelligence and deeply unkind of a place that is supposed to be run by "healers." Had the massage been good, I would have likely become a regular. I might add that based on my interaction with Teresa, I am taking the time to write a bad review on Yelp, something I've never done in my life. Steer clear...

My whole experience at Broad Ripple Massage & Wellness was so relaxing, from start to finish. I was…read morethe only person there when I checked in, and the only person in the building during my massage, and it was so quiet. I felt like I could really let go all of the stress and just exhale. I booked my massage with Anthony, the co-owner of Broad Ripple Massage & Wellness. I chose him because he has experience with Thai massage, which my body really responds to. The massage with Anthony was wonderful. He incorporated some elements of Thai massage and stretching, but also lots of Swedish massage strokes and deep-tissue work which targeted some of my most tense muscles. I loved that he focused a lot on my jaw muscles and head/neck area, which just so happens to be where I carry a lot of tension. After my massage, I was fully relaxed and dazed, as one should be after a great massage. Afterward, Anthony told me that I also carry a lot of tension in my chest, and gave me some tips on how to stretch those muscles by stretching out my shoulders and arms. I love walking away with more knowledge on how to take care of myself! Broad Ripple Massage offers massages, but they also offer float therapy, which is a type of sensory deprivation that places you in a room with a shallow pool of salt water that makes you buoyant. And you float, in the dark and without sound, and eventually you fall asleep and your muscles and mind relax. I have never tried float therapy, but I think I am going to take the plunge (so to speak) soon, and my first time will definitely be at Broad Ripple Massage, because they have a nice setup. Broad Ripple Massage is located just off Broad Ripple Avenue, behind the Ascension St. Vincent medical offices. You can park in those parking spaces by St. Vincent, and then walk around onto Winthrop Avenue, where you'll see the sign for Broad Ripple Massage.
