The np had the audacity to ask me what I think the treatment should be for stepping on glass. Was barely able to clean the would, and let the receptionist wrap me. Then billed my insurance for surgery which then I had to pay a deductible for. They don't even answer their phones when you want to dispute it. On top of everything, the NP wrote incorrect notes which made my insurance claims a nightmare to settle. So many other urgent care options in Houston, don't go to Neumed.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. This place is clearly understaffed, and…read moreunfortunately, the patients are the ones who suffer because of it. We called ahead for a simple sports physical and were told to come in. After waiting around an hour and a half, we were unable to get the physical completed. We were then told by the manager to return the next day and assured that it would be taken care of. We came back as instructed, only to experience another unnecessary wait. What really made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism and communication from the staff. At one point, the nurse addressed me by saying, "Hey, come here, come here," which I found extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. I understand that emergencies happen and that ERs can get busy, but this was a simple sports physical, and the entire process was unnecessarily difficult. If you value your time and expect professional customer service, I would recommend going somewhere else. Pay a little more and save yourself the frustration.

I had an overall okay experience at Lifesavers Emergency Room in The Heights, but there were a few…read moreconcerns worth mentioning. The biggest issue for me was the lack of upfront transparency regarding costs. I came in assuming my visit would be covered by insurance, and at no point before treatment was I clearly informed of what I would be responsible for. I completed all the paperwork and followed their process, only to be presented with a bill at checkout. It would have been much more appropriate to discuss costs before the visit began, as is typically expected in most medical settings. As for the staff, my experience was mixed. One of the physicians seemed attentive and genuinely concerned, while the other came across as dismissive and left abruptly. A staff member in blue scrubs (possibly a nursing assistant) was professional, kind, and made a positive impression. On the other hand, the nurse in black scrubs appeared rushed and less engaged in patient care. What stood out as particularly concerning was being asked during my visit to leave a five-star review in exchange for a gift card. I declined, and this review reflects my honest experience. Patients should never feel pressured or incentivized when it comes to leaving feedback. Overall, the visit wasn't terrible, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in communication, bedside manner, and transparency around billing.

So....I've been a patient of Dr. Krotz's for many years now, well over 10 years to be more precise…read more I followed him from his days at Baylor, to AFCTX, to now his own practice. That should speak volumes... Infertility is such a taboo topic - nevermind it's already a tough journey to be on. Having a medical team that doesn't treat you like a number on a conveyor belt is one of the most important pieces to that puzzle that not alot of practices (or physicians) have. Dr. Krotz does. He's honest, he's forthright, he's knowledgable, and he's thorough. While the path is never a one size fits all approach, I can tell you many practices that do just that. Inovi (& Dr. Krotz) is not one of those practices. They are realistic and very understanding of the process and what it entails. Visiting Inovi was probably the icing on the cake for me, albeit bittersweet in revisiting the journey I've been on for most of my adult life. The decor is to die for! Beautifully laid out and extremely warm and inviting...My trio loved the waiting area as well! ;) Yes, I do have triplets now (thanks Dr. Krotz), but I've experienced alot prior to gaining my rainbow babies - including losses. Don't judge - but I'd love another little one (or 2! ;)) running around - I'm not getting any younger! The building has easy access and parking was a breeze in the garage underneath. Very easy to find the practice! All that to say - I personally & wholeheartedly trust him and his staff. Over the years he's been the most consistent provider I've had and never once did he give me false hope. Nor did he ever tell me something he thought I wanted to hear. I respect and appreciate that in the medical world...it's a dying attribute and an must- have quality when choosing a team. If you're on the unfortunate infertility journey or trying to conceive and not being successful on your own for any reason - I highly recommend checking out Inovi Fertility & Genetics Institute and Dr. Krotz. The worst I'm sure you'll face is a co-pay and hopefully the best - a better understanding of where you're at and what steps are next....

Every single staff member I encountered was friendly, compassionate, and professional. Having to go to the ER can be a traumatizing experience because you are already worried about what is going on with yourself. This ER made sure I was tended to with the utmost care and compassion, which made all the difference. Dr. Sherry and Nurse Jackie were absolutely incredible. They were attentive, patient, and never once dismissive of my worries. They took the time to really talk with me, understand my history, and explain everything thoroughly. That level of care and communication is rare and so appreciated. Even though The Heights Emergency Room is a stand-alone ER not tied to a big hospital network, they are impressively well equipped. Their rooms are spacious, comfortable, and as clean as any hospital ER I have ever seen. They also have the equipment to test for a wide range of issues on site, and my labs were drawn and processed right there with results coming back quickly. That kind of efficiency gave me real peace of mind. Since I was there most of the day, they even arranged Chick-fil-A for me, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It really made me feel cared for as a person, not just a patient. After a very negative past experience at another hospital, this visit was a complete 180. I will absolutely be coming back here for any and all emergency needs in the future. Hands down, this was the best ER experience I have ever had.
