But our classroom instructor, Chris, did an excellent job on keeping us focused and motivated, and I was impressed by his energy and dedication to this profession. Our field training instructors, Glen and Sean, made sure everybody went through all the areas of the house such as crawlspaces, attics, and roofs repeatedly, and never hesitated to answer and explain any questions even if it was asked 50 times before. I was exhausted at the end of 3 weeks, but I don't feel intimidated anymore because I am confident and I know that I learned so much. In terms of syllabus, this course is not designed to make you the technical expert or the code check guru. But instead it teaches you the foundations of the profession, prepares you for the National Exam by teaching you the principles of how home systems operate and the pathway to success as a home inspector. Every individual has different expectations, but AHIT training went above and beyond my expectations, and I am truly satisfied that I spent my money on this course.

They do not even have mentors to help assist your educational understanding needs based on this American Home Inspectors Training Institute. This American Home Inspectors Training Institute was one of the worse decisions and investments that I have ever made in my life. Was missed informed from admin Justin Cull, based on the AHIT's remote online course. Back in March 22nd 2024, I decided to purchase the American Home Inspectors Training Institute, "Expert Course". I was enrolled by Mr. Justin Cull, Senior Admissions Coordinator - Phone# 262-565-5308 - Email: justin.cull@theceshop.com Unfortunately the Senior Admissions Coordinator, whose name is Justin Cull, did not properly provided the full information based on the American Home Inspectors Training CE course. I did asked him if they have any onsite campus, or vocational schools available around my area in South Florida that I can physically attend, and interact with students, and teachers. It is appalling to know they do not have any available vocational schools, or campuses at this time in South Florida. So, I decided to take chance putting my money, and trust to take the Online Remote "Home Inspectors Expert Course" $1399 Value course, but was not told that there will be an additional charge of $600 for the 2 day fieldtrip program with a Master Home Inspector who will be testing our skills in a live residential property. The online remote program was supposed to be a 4 - 11 months program, based on what was stated from the Senior Admissions Coordinator, Mr. Justin Cull. That is absolutely not true!... This remote home inspectors program has different disciplines or trades of work to understand, along with non-stop Volumes within the same disciplined or trade.. the Residential Home is the state of Florida does Not have basements, yet in the Remote Online Florida Home Inspectors Course for AHIT inspecting the basement was included....Why??? For example you will have Plumbing 1, Plumbing 2, Plumbing 3, Plumbing 4, Roofing 1, Roofing 2, Roofing 3, Roofing 4. Unfortunately with all the subjects you are taking in order to better understand the Home Inspectors profession, they initially give you 12 months ( 1 year) to complete the course. When in reality with all the information you are retaining is overwhelming. To be honest they should give the students who are taking this remote online course at least 24 months to complete ( 2 years to complete ). This is Not a 4 - 11 month program to complete especially when you are taking the "Expert Package Course". I really wish the administrative individuals, and management can be more understanding and respectful to the time and money we all invest to better our future and probably obtain a career in this field. I suggest for everyone who is looking to become a home inspector. Don't waist your time enrolling in a school and call a home inspector company located around your area and see if they schedule a ride a long to observe the profession and its entirety. Maybe they can advise you which school is better to take the Home Inspection Course.

This college is amazing for its medical training and sciences. There is a sense of community and empathy that you can really feel here. MATC understands that many of us are real people with real lives and has resources to help with life struggles outside academics. They are encouraging and welcoming to all genders, races, and cultures. The only downside is the academic advising. It is convoluted and confusing and advisors don't seem to care about your success as much as your possible tuition for more classes. I'd recommend anyone to go to an advisor at a college you want to transfer to and have them recommend courses you can take at MATC. They are usually way more helpful and won't judge you at all for trying to save money on pre-reqs.

My English class experience has taught me to lie for the grade I want and it will be received because the administration here which is super woke and anti-Trump will jump over hurdles to accommodate you. This is the only reason to go here. Also, there are plenty of peeps to buy reefer from on campus. Yay!

For about $80, before tips, we were entertained by Denny S as he sang so many Neil Diamond songs. And if you were not looking, you could hear Neil singing in his wonderful voice. The music was presented between the incredible 4 courses, and allowed for conversations over the delicious dishes that were freshly prepared for us. Start with a nice variety of beverages (for purchase) with a bruschetta appetizer. Follow this by a light salad with fresh bread, and then to the entree of chicken breast with Prosciutto in a lemon sauce with mashed potatoes and sauteed carrots. Finish the meal with a light lemon cake with whipped cream, and not only was my appetite satisfied, but so was my appreciation for perfection in presentation. Chef Pam's Kitchen is a multi-use spot in downtown, serving special event dinners, cooking sessions, and offering locally prepared treats of all kinds. Local pastry chefs have access to the well-appointed bakery area. With all the food prep areas open to view, it is highly impressive to see the cleanliness and exceptional equipment in use. Our evening of entertainment and dining was wonderful. There are many more events planned here, and I recommend watching their offerings, especially if you like to have fun and great food!

The class we attended was a ravioli making class where we did the full recipe from start to finish. There were two lead chefs and an assistant helping to pass out small apps, distribute tools, and clean up. There is a bar area that if self serve and at the end you're asked to pay for what you consumed. It would be nice if prices were posted, but drinks are about what you'd pay at any local bar. Overall, subtracting the food included and what it would cost at a restaurant, the class was about $35-$40 for a three hour experience. Afterwards they emailed out the recipes for what was made. I'd definitely try another class there as it was a fun time and great for couples or larger groups.
