While it is not located in the best neighborhood, the building itself is newly constructed, and extremely secure. I made the mistake of showing up during the time they are closed for lunch and the building was on total lockdown and no one could be found. From what I understand there are programs for children to attend there, which must be great. I am mostly impressed and grateful that the security is apparently taken very seriously there. At least some places still care about childrens safety. If you have children's items in great condition (as in stuff that people could actually use and not things that have been trashed) this is a really good place to donate to. It's important to help others where you can, especially when you have plenty.

I rented a generator for an event in Boynton Beach. When I got it to the event site I realized that…read moreone of the bolts in the A phase lug was sheared off preventing me from being able to use the lug to land the wire. I called Aldrich to ask if they wanted to send someone out to repair it and I was told I could bring it back if I was not happy. I did not have time to do that so I drilled and tapped the remainder of the bolt out so I could use the machine. When I returned it I asked for a credit because I had to repair their equipment in order to use it. The employee behind the counter did not respond. So I asked if that lack of response meant no. He very abruptly said, "no, we will not give you a credit". Even if he would have knocked $5 off it would have been a nice gesture since I spent an hour of my time making the repair. At the end of the day it is nothing to lose sleep over but it will prevent me from renting from them in the future.
