While I was pregnant, I suffered from intense pain in the wrists from carpal tunnel and bad numbness throughout my arms. My doctor recommended sleeping with wrist guards and eating less salt to reduce the swelling but it didn't help. This led to sleepless nights since I couldn't feel my arms. My partner would have to massage my hands and wrists every morning for me to even be able to clench my fist to brush my teeth. I had some friends recommend going to an acupuncturists. I was introduced to Neta by my prenatal massage therapist. I had reached my due date, however, my baby had not dropped and my OB wanted to induce labor. I was very nervous as it was my first pregnancy and I had some underlying risk factors. Even though I had never met Neta, she made room in her schedule to see me right away. In one session she was able to determine that my baby was ready but I had some blockages. Neta treated both me and my baby that day, giving me the confidence to go forward with having my baby no matter how the process turned out. Once my baby was born, it was apparent that she had issues with her newfound world. She was very fussy, beyond normal baby fussiness, and we were concerned that she was in pain and may have some health issues. The pediatrician had no answers or advice beyond watching my diet. Once again, Neta made herself available for us. She determined that my baby had digestive issues as well as stress from induction, and was able to clear these issues in two sessions. As we were saying goodbye after treatment, my baby gave Neta a big smile as if she was thanking her for her care and providing her some relief. Neta is awe-some! I first saw her when I was pregnant for acupuncture. At that time I was super stressed from work. Seeing her, she immediately calmed me down plus during our session I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! I had acupuncture done for previous pregnancy too and that office had me come back weekly for a month (that's 4x which meant it cost me $ with every visit). I expected for Neta to tell me to come back again and she said that I should be good and to only come back if I had any issues. Who does that and how awesome is it that she cared enough about me to be honest like that! When I was there, my husband came along and she noticed that he had a cold. She was nice enough to assess him at no charge then recommend which nutrient(s) would help him get over his cold. My husband did as she recommended and his cold was gone almost immediately. Went to Neta because my 6 week old was having major gas and reflux issues which seemed to have cause her a lot of discomfort. We did gas drops with limited success. I was avoiding all kinds of foods without really knowing whether it made a difference which was frustrating and the pediatrician just told me to wait it out because it's normal at that age. It didn't seem normal to me and my night nanny thought she was worse than most other babies so I found Neta online and decided to go to her. We only had one session (which Neta said is sometimes enough) and my daughter was significantly better after that session! Even our night nanny who didn't know we had taken our baby to Neta was surprised the next morning when she told me the baby had no gassiness overnight and slept well.
