Sells wax melts, a variety of home decor, jewelry, purses, and homemade crafts from several other businesses. It's a lovely shop in Three Oaks. read more

This store is amazing. It's my favorite place to shop. The owner is very good at helping you come up with the perfect decor for the perfect spot in your home. This store is not only home decor, but also has purses, jewelry and other special gift ideas. Came to this store during my visit to New Buffalo, as it was recommended to me by our Airbnb host. Super cute store, with some adorable goodies inside. A lot of various home goods, with other little trinkets. I would have liked to see more offered in the store. My favorite types of small shops are ones that have so many unique and creative things to choose from... and I just felt a pinch underwhelmed with all that was offered here. One important thing to note... the store hours on the door were incorrect. On the door it stated they opened at 11:00 AM, but in reality, they don't open until 12:00 PM. But if you're in the area, or driving through... I would 100% make a stop at this cute small business! read more

A pillow caught my eye so much so I went back the next day and ended up purchasing 4 (see 3 in photo- the fourth is a duplicate of the one on the right). Y'all, on July 14th, 2018, this adorable shop was OPEN for business in the late afternoon. That's right, Nest Number 4 is NOT closed. I bought 3 of their fabulous hannah jane handmade, natural soaps - 1 lavender, 1 tea tree with activated charcoal and an oatmeal with some other ingredients I can't recall, since I gave that bar away to my friend. All for merely 20 bucks. Had lots of cute home style gifts and useful treasures. Also bought a few greeting cards that were especially unique. It would be easy to fill several shopping bags full of treasures here. Not sure, but perhaps they're closed in the winter months, as some shops and restaurants do, as this area is more touristy and the homes are often used as a summer place only. Just a thought as to why this venue is listed as closed when it's absolutely open for business. read more

I was planning to buy soaps and a birthday gift today at Nest Number 4. How unfortunate to leave work, drive 30 minutes, arrive at 5:40, and find the store closed when the door clearly says they are open until 6. The items I could see from the window looked very nice, so I am giving 2 stars instead of 1, even though I was unable to purchase anything. Very disappointing. read more

If you have not been to Nest Number 4, what are you waiting for.! I was SO very happy when Kim opened her store in Michigan City. I had been buying from her when she sold her home decor online and when she had things in another local Michigan City store. She has such great one of a kind items, some homemade and some re-furnished, as well as many other things. The store is set up so cute and has lots of room for shopping. You are always welcomed with a smile. Prices are very affordable. I definitely will shop there again and tell all my friends and family to stop in. Michigan City needs more stores and local owners like Kim at Nest Number 4! read more
