I would give 6 stars if I could. The staff at Nesin Therapy (NTS) is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. It was wonderful working with Physical Therapists who understand runners and cyclists both physically and emotionally. Every session is different and begins with questions about what has happened since the previous session. At that point, the Physical therapist adjusts the plan for the day if needed. Sessions with Andrea and Cindy (Madison, County Line location) included exercises plus hands-on treatment for specific areas including massage, rolling, suction cups or whatever is needed. With their education and decades of experience they identified spots that needed attention when I did not realize those spots were the source of problems. The initial examination was very thorough and documented to identify progress. Nesin's holistic approach really worked for me. I had two sessions at a large facility and knew the impersonal cookie-cutter approach was not a good fit for me. I am so grateful that I switched to Nesin. The NTS facility is not large and overwhelming but still has tremendous resources. The staff made sure I understood how to do specific exercises at home and were very reinforcing when my progress showed that I had been working. After sessions I felt spoiled and rewarded sitting with TENS (mild electrical current to reduce pain) and either ice or heat. I've been to Nesin Therapy several times and highly recommended them. I went for pain in my hip that ran down my leg. It was so painful that I could not sleep. They found the problem and had me feeling better in just a few sessions. Anytime my family needs physical therapy we go see them. They are by far the best in Madison and Huntsville. read more

After having trouble with my shoulder for a couple of years, I was hoping physical therapy could bring some relief. To my very pleasant surprise, my shoulder is now completely pain free due to the excellent therapy I received from the Nesin PT staff. I have found all of the staff to be very knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with my progress, but I would particularly like to thank the efforts of my two principal therapists, Dori and Leeanne. Amazing and positive tailbone treatment results in areas unexpected from neck and shoulders to knee! So very pleased sitting and walking both feel better and easier after one treatment! Even walking up and down the stairs feels smoother and more secure. Interesting to learn how much the tailbone impacts the body and how many muscles are connected to it. AMAZING! I've had physical therapy at other clinics in the area, and Nesin is far better than any of those other places. Elsewhere, I've been passed around to this person and that person during my visit, spending only a few minutes with the actual therapist. BUT, I was blown away at how much time I got to spend with my therapist every single visit! It was great to have my therapy done by someone trained and licensed, rather than some average kid showing me exercises. They made me feel like I was valuable and not just a number. Neisin physical therapy in Madison Al is awesome. Each of the therapists are respectful and so helpful. They have taught me how to sit at my desk better, handle frequent trips for my job, and even household duties better. My pain level has decreased exponentially since going now for about a month and a half. I've suffered from my condition since 1994 and there is no cure and I've gone to numerous different types of therapists and experienced many types of therapy. This by far is showing the most progress. On a recent trip I experienced back spasms but due to the exercises and tricks taught by the therapists, I was able to stop the spasms without any medications. That's a big win for me. Outstanding PT. I have had therapy in three different states for different issues and have never had such outstanding therapy.

I thought very hard about this prior to writing. I contacted Nesim many times for understanding and resolution. I contacted my insurance company and other physical therapist and therapeutic massage. I didn't take this lightly. I am dealing with SI Joint and disc issues for years. Debating on getting back surgery but treating as last result. In trying Nesim i poured every ounce of what my needs were to be met. I had a doctor provide the treatment plan and I had my husband call to make sure that would be followed. IT NOT ONLY WASNT FOLLOWED but the pain increased and was told once an exercise is done it will never be repeated. I was told I would get a treatment plan by someone who was not only late but was interrupted in our meeting a few times. When I left I was told someone would contact me to schedule appointments and they didn't. I called Huntsville to be told I wasn't the first person to complain that day. I was handed printouts and was told don't do them but we would work on them. We didn't do them. I stressed I needed some guidance on sitting in office chair. I ended up on flat hard table learning how to use pillows. I could barely get off the table. I was rushed out. No treatment for inflammation or aggravating my spine. I calked back and asked to make sure I received that as my husband discussed before and the DOCTOR ordered it. Since when do you go outside of doctors orders. I was told over and over they don't do traditional therapy. What does that mean and do you dismiss what a doctor orders. I complained many times and the last time I talked with someone I could tell I wasn't getting understood. I received a hefty bill today and it made me sick. Rolling around on a hard table with pillows low to the ground with an inflamed back and disc issues. Does that make any sense to you? I would HIGHLY suggest you ask lots and lots of questions before seeking any kind of treatment with them. I told them I was struggling with an exercise at the beginning of treatment and was told we would look at it. Never did as he was late starting with me and had someone waiting. It's a mill house. You are very rushed no listening to patient. Again this not a place I wound recommend. Hopefully there will be lessons learned at Nesim read more
