The children's area has a very interactive play area with a train table, costumes, theater and more. I can never get my kids to leave. They also have a great summer reading program. My only suggestion is for the staff to utilize technology more, like post events and the summer reading program dates online to reference at the patrons' convenience. I would also like to be able to renew books online, too. It is a drive for us out here in the country and the overdue fee is hefty compared to some other libraries, plus the hours are limited. If it were not for the lack of useful technology that could easily work around these other obstacles, this would be a 5 star library in my 'book'.

I am taking mainly night classes and online classes here.I really like this campus because it's not a big campus and the parking is great. It's kind of in a neighborhood so it's very quiet and I feel safe when I am leaving or going to class in the evening. The majority of the study body are adults who work full-time or a SAHM who are seeking to earn a degree from a creditable University. The prices for tuition is not as steep as UH main campus. I do wish the library was bigger and the campus stayed open later than 10 pm. It's pretty cool that on random nights they give free snacks/ pizza and drinks for the students. This is a nice library. Looks new and is very clean and organized. We stopped by to use their…read morecomputers and to print out some documents. In order to do so we had to set up a membership. Carolyn helped us get that done super quick, and she was very pleasant and friendly. The membership was free and all that was required was a photo I'd proving our Texas residence. They had a good number of computers available, and each document cost 25 cents to print. I didn't explore much, but from where we were sitting but I could see a good size kids library area, several private rooms for studying or media use. They aren't huge as far as book selection, but they had a lot to choose from. They also have a DVD section and an audiobook section. Also there is a nice looking covered porch area with tables and chairs. It would be nice to sit out there during cooler weather.

I am so happy that one of my favorite places is back open. I was able to place some books on hold…read morefor pickup. They have a number you can call and someone brings the books out to you or you can go inside and pick them up from the hold section. I chose to go inside. I didnt know where I placed my library cards but the clerk was able to help me. She even renewed my cards and checked me out. There is also a drive up book return box in the front of the building now. Seems like they are open at full capacity now.

In case you want to roam solo, there's prominent signage to guide your path. The expansive library offers something for everyone if you choose to visit for an hour or all day. Check their website for upcoming weekly family events. Reading has been a lifelong passion of mine. There's no place quite like it to get lost in.

The library can be quite crowded and noisy, especially on the ground floor. There are plenty of…read moreseats for self study on the secondary floor but again can be crowded too. The worst I want to highlight is the absence of paper towel for wiping hands dry after using the bathroom. Just within a couple of hours, I noticed a couple of inconsiderate and careless people who parked on the line in an rather crowded parking lot.
