A huge shoutout to my project manager Vitalli who listened to my endless questions and helped me choose products that were within my budget and worked well with my house exterior. Vitalii also guided me through the Enbridge window rebate application and I was really surprised to save a whopping $975, all thanks to the Ecoline windows and door qualifying for the maximum rebate. That's some serious savings which no other company in Ottawa bothered to navigate me to (tho i got like 3-4 other quotes before calling Ecoline). I'm definitely planning to stick with Ecoline Windows Ottawa for my future replacements. If you're looking for quality service and great value, I highly recommend them.

Their website is very informative and one of the best out there. Vlad C took care of us during the sales process and he was excellent, patiently answering all of our questions. Our installation(s) went relatively well. We did have some minor issues that needed to be corrected and these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Raffaele in customer service. We initially ordered 9 windows from Ecoline and liked them enough to order 3 more. The triple panes made a noticeable difference and these windows are eligible for the Greener Homes Grant ($250 / window). The only surprise we had is these windows can have a grey hue to them when the bright sun hits them on an angle. From looking on-line, this is a common issue with triple pane windows and low e coatings (light reflects off coating). It is not unique to Ecoline and only happens during certain lighting conditions. Not a deal breaker for us, but something to be aware of when selecting glass coatings. Our windows function well and appear to be well made. So far, so good!! Thanks Ecoline!

We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company for a renovation and this is my…read moreopinion. The contract was through our contractor for a home renovation. During initial discussions of what we wanted, the salesman lied about what was possible to get the sale, stating we would have retracting screens on the doors which was untrue, as we would find out. The high pressure sales tactics also resulted in errors on the order. The day of the install the windows were to be installed by Eurostar as per the agreement. About half the windows were installed at the incorrect depth and had to be reinstalled at our expense. The remaining had the drywall clip installed and they was unable to be used because these too were installed incorrectly. One window was installed broken and was missing several pieces. One window was not provided until 2 months later. They kept delaying and lying why they could not replace the broken window. Two of the patio doors had their "security lock" on the door installed so high the bolt could not catch on the locking mechanism. Eventually David (owner) refused to honor any warranty until proof of payment of the windows to the contractor was provided stating that he had not been paid (going against his written policies in invoices). We provided proof, and a sworn affidavit signed by our contractor that he had paid. In addition several of the large windows (approx. 4 of them) have noticeable ripples in the glass (poor quality glass). This company had previously gone bankrupt and in discussions with other local contractors has often gotten into disputes and demonstrated quality problems. A few years on the exterior color to the vinyl is proving to be poorly applied and is showing premature signs of aging. Would strongly recommend doing business with anyone else and avoid this crooked company. Even though they are one of the few supplies of the German tilt-and-turns, I would recommend finding anyone else. I am including an example of the work they provided. This is the door-stop that they installed. As you can see it does not work as it was installed too high. They did this on 2 of the 3 sliding doors installed If I could give 0 stars, I would.

He didn't clean up after the installation, and left shards of metal (from drilling screws into the window panes) all over the window sills and floors. The pull chains on the blinds are too short to be used without a step ladder, and when I pointed this out to the installer, he just laughed.
