I asked if they had the black pepper ones - most of the Indian restaurants we go to no longer offer them - and it was no problem. I prefer them for two reasons, first they aren't fried rather they are dry cooked over flame, and second they are peppery spiced. The portion of dips was tasty too. I got a lamb curry and the portion was generous, it was moderately spiced tender meat and very tasty indeed. My wife got tikka chicken pieces with a thick korma sauce and we shared a Peshwari nan and a pilau rice. The nan was the only disappointment as I like plenty of filling but the place is undoubtedly 5 star. The staff, likely Bangladeshi, are friendly chaps and they sure are kept busy as the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening. Pint of beer and a glass of rosé wine came in about £8 for the two. Second time, we booked. It was a Tuesday and it was still busy. We just had mains: a chicken and a vegetable biryani with a vegetable curry and a korma with a Peshwari nan.
