I hired this company for a "move-in" cleaning service. During my conversation with the owner, I mentioned the kitchen needed the most attention, especially the ovens. I told him it was a new house built in 2015 (in good condition) but the previous owners had children and a couple of dogs. I also said the house was completely vacant/empty and he responded by saying perfect then it shouldn't take them long. We ended what seemed to be a positive and friendly conversation with a scheduled appointment for the next morning at 9am (3 people for 3 hours). We were not moved into the house yet, so I gave the cleaners the code to the garage (therefore I have no idea what time they actually showed up and how long they were they for or if they actually cleaned anything). The morning of the cleaning, I received a call at 11:30am from one of the employees saying they needed another hour. This caught me by surprise as I figured they'd be done within 2 hours at most (being that there were 3 people and there wasn't a ton to clean). When I received the invoice, which was for more than I was quoted (because of the extra hour they "needed"), I went over to check quick before submitting payment. When I walked in, I honestly wasn't sure if anyone had been there. Then I began to look around, and I was certain nothing had been touched. I emailed the owner expressing some concerns along with photos (see below) and he responded by threatening to turn me into collections if I didn't pay by 11:59pm that night, right off the bat. He wasn't even willing to have a civil conversation, didn't want to answer any of my understandable questions. He had no explanation for the photos I sent. He claimed they don't clean inside ovens, but their website (which was just updated 12 hours ago) clearly stated move-in clean "appliances - inside/outside/fronts/unders" .. this has since been changed, but I have documentation of the original site and photos post-four hour cleaning (photos below). My invoice also magically increased an additional $40 (I also have documentation of the original quote and invoice). After speaking to previous employees of NEPA Cleaning Pros, it sounds like this business is a scam. They use an app and they can click "cleaning complete" without having done any work and it charges your card. I'm convinced they went to my house, turned on the lights, and left (only evidence I saw proving someone was in the house). I'm not sure where all of the 5-Star ratings are coming from, but if you search the owner's previous business "Positive Results Markeing" (which is permanently closed) and read the reviews, he doesn't have the best track record. These 5-Star ratings must be auto-generated, but they fooled me! Very unprofessional and fraudulent company. Stay far away. read more

NEPA Cleaning Pros do a minimal cleaning job and cost too much money to justify their services. My quote: The quote total is $450.50 (includes PA SALES TAX) as of May 09, 2023. Once you APPROVE the quote your appointment will be scheduled and you will receive a booking confirmation! I received the baseboard dusted, a poor vacuuming of (2) rugs, some furniture dusted, ceiling fans dusted, hardwood floors dusted but left dirty, only bottom kitchen cabinets wiped where the wood is dull streaked. Everything wiped I had to polish or wipe to shine it. The ceramic tile floors were black on the paper towel when we tried to wipe up spilled water. The cleaner smell is overwhelming after two hours and lasted a week. The initial quote appointment was efficient but at the time before I saw the improper cleaning, I setup cleaning every two weeks for $180. I called after the cleaning done one week later asking if hypoallergenic cleaner without the putrid smell could be used; crickets no return call. Then I called to cancel the two week cleaning, because all the ceramic tile was dirty; Krissi called stating she used a spin mop with Mr. Clean. I asked her to use vinegar water to clean bathrooms and use Swiffer I hold on the floors. The Swiffer pad holds the dirt. When my Friday appointment at 11:00am to clean arrived; no call and a no show. I believe NEPA cleaning is unethical over priced and use cheap inferior product. After being robbed $450.50 my husband and I properly cleaned our home. If you read their quote the cleaners do monomial work and charge on your CC too much cost. NEPA won't take cash or check. At our prior 4 bedroom colonial home three girls cleaned our home, hand washed our ceramic tile, polished my furniture and I supplied all product, and equipment so I controlled what they used; all pet friendly. Hired this company to do a "deep cleaning" on a house we were moving into. The house was totally vacant, so it should be the ideal situation for ease of cleaning, or so I thought. 2 very nice young people(1 female & 1 male) arrived and introduced themselves as the cleaning "crew". Strange because I had discussed with the owner, 3 or 4 people coming over for as long as was necessary to get the entire house clean. It's a decent size house(3000 sq-ft) on the main floor, which was all that was to be cleaned. These 2 cleaners show up with a little vacuum, a spin mop and 2 spray bottles of Clorox multi surface cleaner. Thats it. Now, if they were actually cleaners who knew how and what to clean in a house, I wouldn't have any issue with that. These 2 young folks seem like college students hired to work until going back to school. Nice enough, but certainly not "cleaners". Maybe laborers through a temp agency? Summer hires? Anyway, they finish the job and tell me they are done. They leave and we go look through the house. Much to our surprise and dismay, it was at best a sub-par job. Cupboards left untouched, floors wiped down with a wet mop and water, entire rooms unswept and really just a poor job all around. The following day I call the office to make the credit card payment for the service. The guy on the phone asked "how was the cleaning job and how did they do"? I felt obliged to tell him that I was a bit disappointed since he asked the question. Remember, he brought it up, I did not. I explained that it was only 2 young college students not a cleaning crew that showed up. That and the job is what I feel not at all up to any cleaning standard I've ever seen in the past in our other homes or businesses. He got very vocal on the phone and yelled, "I guess this one is on me then" and hung up on me. Now, he asked for a review of the service and I gave him an honest answer. I initiated the call to pay for the service, not to complain. He is the one who escalated it, raised his voice and hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and no way to run a service based business.
