/)/) ( . .) ( づ Service here is outstanding! One of my fav restaurants in Berlin! FYI: You have to reserve a table (Opentable)! A little bit on the pricier side. The view and interior design is very pretty. Definitely worth going! Love their hummus plate. Very very good hummus. My fav is still the classic one. But recommending you to try the others out if you're a hummus lover. Spicy caramelized eggplants had a very interesting and unique flavor. Very delicious. Jerusalem plate was my fav dish! Very tender and juicy chicken ans the flavor is amazing. Ribeye was okay. Nothing outstanding and special about that. The Falafel also very delicious. wasn't a big fan of the avocado chickpea salad. Kinda disappointed about that one. Not worth ordering because it was nothing special about it and flavor wise also a disappointed. It just tasted raw. All in all very nice dining experience!

Authentic Israeli food with fresh ingredients+ the best view of Berlin! Surrounded by glass windows that overlooks the city, one can enjoy delicious food and drinks in the clouds. Highly recommend for dates , family and friends gatherings and just good company to make memories with in the city. Reservations are needed . Location is within the hotel bikini Berlin

I probably should have had my antenna up when I announced to the guy at reception that I had a 7 pm reservation and he replied, "what the fuck is your name?" Ok, I get it. We're uber hip with attitude and don't stand on such ceremonies as common courtesy. I'm actually ok with that -- PROVIDED the food is worthy of the attitude. Sorry dude. The food was lousy. I started with the grilled cauliflower appetizer with tahini and what the menu described as pomegranate chimichurri. The cauliflower was overcooked to within an inch of its life, the tahini was bland and almost flavorless, and other than pomegranate seeds strewn about I have no idea what chimichurri had to do with any of it. For my main I ordered grilled lamb chops. Rather than grill-marked and crusted chops, these were gray and flacid. Worse, there was some flavor I couldn't identify that was really unpleasant. Honestly, I went with an open mind hoping the food matched the receptionist's attitude. I was sorely disappointed.

Neni Berlin is on the top floor of the Bikini Hotel. We kicked our meal off with a Hugo, which was chosen for me by my debonair companion as "the most refreshing cocktail you'll ever have". I have historically thought that was Nyquil, but I stand corrected. The Hugo was delicious. The "urban jungle" view was amazing and I learned that the hotel is called the Bikini Hotel because it's structurally as sound as a string bikini. Considering my string bikini's are always falling off, (often not with the help of others, but compliments of gravity) -- this made me feel very safe. On to the main event: We had the Neni mezze sampler which came with the standard hummus, tabouli, walnut dips and a very interesting and uniquely savory cauliflower selection. This was my favorite course of the entire meal, and likely because it was unexpected. The main course was manly meats for my carnivore companion, and we both dove into the desserts. Would absolutely return and get a quadruple portion of the cauliflower. The Monkey Bar is adjacent and is a great place to continue (or commence) your evening. Great rooftop.

Came in here for dinner @ 10pm for 2 on a Sunday for an anniversary. Decided to give this place a try, heard it resembles California's restaurant/bar. Came in 30 mins. before our reservations to check out the hype in the bar. Took 20 mins to get order (which is fine because it's a weekend). We waited another 20 mins for our drink to be served & a woman took our drink we waited for. (my girlfriend ran after her, wasn't going to wait another 15-20 mins for our drinks to be served again) Only had less than 10 mins to enjoy our drink in the bar before our reservation so decided to just take it to the dining area. Overall, bar has an awesome view and good music. drinks were strong & delicious. Only downfall is the slow service (the waiting part) Dining area is a farm to table-like setting with good ambiance. Love that you can see their kitchen. Got sat right away. The menu was pretty limited & straight forward. Ordered our starter. Came in quick. The starter was okay. It's nothing special. Then we waited soooo long to get our main entree ordered. (It wasn't busy at all as it was closing soon) Ordered our entree & water (non carbonated) from our server. Handed us our water in the bottle on the table. Then I see him pouring other table's water in their glass which made us feel unimportant (maybe because we were young Asians who looked ordinary & not rich?) Overall food was okay. It wasn't anything special. I feel like I just paid for the location & view. The menu price is a overpriced considering it's nothing special in Berlin. And I can't believe I paid a bottled water for 7 Euros without water service!!! That's pretty darn pricey for a half liter. (Should of just got a cocktail instead) My biggest problem here was that I didn't feel like we were served equally as other tables due to the fact that we weren't wearing suits and were young. Our server focused more on other tables who seemed to look "rich" and he didn't even check up on us once we got our entree. We got a welcome, ordered starter & entree, and goodbye. I needed to order things while eating the entree, but he didn't even come by to check on us. Now, as a young chef, I understand restaurant industry. But to have been judged already & not having proper training of service (like pouring water) for a high end restaurant, does not wow me. I've ate several times in Michelin star restaurants to a hole in the wall mama style cooking; regardless of high or low ends, I get the same amazing service without judgments of what I wear or seem to be.

Neni... Where should i start? Me and my friend wanted to eat lunch here as we just arrived in our hotel (25Bikini - expect another review soon..) it was quite empty i think 4 other groups were sitting in the restaurant. It took 20 min for someone to come to us, we asked for the english menu as it was all written in German. A few moments later aka 10 min he came back telling us there was no english menu. All good we asked some questions about the food and we ordered.. Finally. 15 min passed by, 20, 25, 30.. and finally after 35/40 min we got our food and keep in your mind there were only 2 couples who also ordered food in the entire restaurant. We both ordered the Sabach and i'm not gonna lie it was delicious and i would definitely order it again. We also had breakfast at the same place twice through the hotel this was how we say in dutch - rampzalig (catastrophic) i'll keep it short but we had to wait 40 min for our food and even the coffee. You have to pay extra for NOT EVEN FRESH fruit. I think that says enough i would not recommend eating breakfast here if you don't have the half day off because that's how long it takes to arrive.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Berlin. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it. Good and special food what you don't get somewhere else. Nice staff and the view over Berlin from Zoo is amazing. Good drinks as well. The wine and cocktails are the best!

Such an outstanding experience at Neni. Great food and an unbeatable view.

The view alone tips this review to 5 stars. There are a handful of places in Berlin that give you such an incredible vantage point, and I was over the moon that we got to spend lunch above the tree tops of the Tiergarten. Neni is just so cool. I'm a sucker for the whole industrial design vibe, and Neni was on point. Although we had hoped for a table outside, we were more than happy with the spot we got near their enormous north facing windows. Our server was great, and promptly brought us our drinks and mix of dishes. Being lunch time, we decided to share smaller dishes so we could try as much as possible. We ordered the curry hummus, Korean fried chicken salad, almond crusted chicken with sweet potato fries. Everything was excellent. Still pinching myself over the whole experience. This is a gem in Berlin.

Neni Berlin specialises in Arabic, Turkish, Israeli, Persian, and Moroccan cuisines. But they also have a selection of German, Austrian and Spanish delicacies on the menu. The restaurant is huge, and depending on where you sit, you can enjoy a view of the city or the sprawling Tiergarten. The terrace seating is wonderful, allowing you to enjoy the breeze while you dine. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast buffet during our stay at 25 Hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, and it was one of the best we've ever had. Perfectly prepared omelettes, fluffy scrambled eggs, vegan banana cake, vanilla quark and yogurt, a variety of nuts and seeds, fresh fruits, croissants and other breads, meats, and cheeses were on offer. Along with the usual juices, there was an interesting mango buttermilk that tasted absolutely delicious. Tea lovers were spoilt for choice with special tea makers that let you scoop lots of Samova tea leaves into the container and brew an entire pot of tea to be enjoyed with breakfast.

I chose the falafel plate, with four large falafels, tahini and four salads. My partner chose the Shakshuka with beef sausages, set in a rich tomato and pepper stew, with tomato salad, both served with pitta, olives and gherkins. The portions were good and filling, and we're glad we hadn't ordered starters. That said, other diners were happily polishing off platefuls of both. Meat and fish mains can be served with rice or fries. Our meals with two beers came to €35, which seemed like good value. Friendly and reasonably swift service. We shall return.

The wait for our food wasn't long at all, but it seemed we had just beat the rush. The koshary here is the best I've ever had! It wasn't lacking in anything and it came out hot! The sauce was plentiful and the flavor warm and inviting. The chickpeas were perfect cooked and the fried onions were super crispy and tasty, not at all bitter! The hot sauce was actually spicy, but also went really well the koshary in terms of flavor. My husband's sandwich was loaded and he really enjoyed it. And on the outside are a bunch of tables occupied by hookah smokers. But the one feature common throughout the restaurant were the delicious plates of Lebanese food going to all the different tables. My favorite part of any Lebanese meal are the mezze dishes. Forget the kebabs and mains--I prefer making a meal just out of these delicious dips and starters! So it was perfect that Phoenicia offered two different mezze mix plates--one with 8 cold mezzes, one with 8 warm mezzes. On the cold plate came tabbouleh (parsley salad), waraq enab (rice wrapped in grape leaves), hummus, muhammara, makdous (eggplant cured in oil), moussaka (eggplant cooked with tomato), hindbeh (cooked dandelion greens) topped with fried onions, and pickled cucumbers/radishes. The warm plate came with fattoush salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, radishes, peppers, pita chips), makanek (Lebanese sausages), jawaneh dajaj (chicken wings), toum (creamy garlic spread), falafels with tahini, and three different kinds of filled pastries (sambousek): ground lamb, spinach, and my favorite, two feta cheese rolls. Every item on both of the mezze plates was fresh and delicious, and the dips went especially nicely with the rounds of freshly-baked pita bread that came on the side!
