I will never go to a chiropractor who doesn't use the activator method. It is gentle and effective. I appreciate the fact that I can get x-rays in office at Advanced for a very reasonable fee and review them minutes later to review issues and treatment options. I also appreciate the ultrasound and other therapies available. When you add the fact that the staff is fabulous, friendly, and efficient, you realize that Advanced is the premier chiropractic practice in Idaho Falls.

So I tried this practice and I have been very pleased how my body likes the activator method to stay in alignment. Before I moved to this area from Kansas City area I went to a chiropractor who uses Blair method and the activator method is the closest I have found to the Blair method. Once my body got back into alignment I have only had to visit 2-4 times a month depending on what is going on in my life. The three doctors at Advanced Health are very good at what they do. I have my preferences of which doctor I like to use, but they are all good. One thing this practice does is to offer massage therapy at a very reasonable price. In the event of a muscular injury, which I'm dealing with currently, they are also set up to use ultrasound on the effected area. I have found these additional services have helped me stay in alignment. So even though my adjustments are covered by insurance after deductible I pay out of pocket for both the massage and ultrasound. This is a gentle chiropractic practice. I feel they truly care that the patient gets better.

I have been to many chiropractors for most of my 70 years. Also brought my 4 kids to them from time to time when needed From Massachusetts , to Albq. New Mexico, to San Jose Ca. to now Idaho Falls. And I have to say that he is the best one I have been to. He is up to date with all the new technique's and take his time with you. Usually I was rushed out by the Doc after a treatment to leave room for the next patient . But not so with DR Scoresby. He takes the time to listen to my complains and also if a person needs X-rays he takes his time to explain it all to you. Also during the time he was treating me I sprained my ankle. He adjust that to along with recommending that I have Laser treatment to help it heal faster. His associate that does the lasers treatment is name Josh and also very nice and helpful. I have had sprained ankle 's in the past and always had to suffer until it finally healed but his treatments are really helping it to heal faster. I highly recommend him !!!!! My wife and I had several visits with a bad one 4 years ago. A bad one can literally destroy your spine! My wife was very active and in good overall health when we went in for routine care. After a few visits she was clearly not responding well, so that Dr said that she simply needed more adjustments. After a few more visits I took her to Doctor Moss for a second opinion. Doctor Moss saw right away that there was a serious problem and said "You need to get some imaging, something isn't right.". The imaging showed several herniated disks with her C4,5 so badly damaged that it had to be replaced. She's been predominantly bedridden since then because of unbearable nerve pain. The other chiropractor would have continued "care" until my wife was paralyzed or dead. I say that because he saw the same symptoms and kept twisting her spine while Doctor Moss saw it once and recognized that there was a problem. My wife and I both accredit Doctor moss with literally saving her life that first visit. Doctor Moss is a rare find. He does not force everything to Crack and send you off. Doctor Moss only adjusts what needs to be adjusted and he does it with care. It's obvious that he truly cares about his patience Health and well-being. Stop risking your health, and your life, with bad care, and go see Doctor Moss!!

The rates were very comparable to every other office I called. The office visit: the place is clean and adequate for a chiropractors office. I'm a stickler for restrooms at any place I go to. Dr Mayo was great at explaining everything to him and easing his mind as to the issues. We left after about 30 minutes including the stimulus treatment he recommended as well. My body was breaking down fast and all my doctors and specialists told me I would only get worse with time. I couldn't drive, I couldn't go in public without wearing a mask to prevent a severe reaction from laundry soap on other people's clothing, hairspray smells, whiffs of cleaners or perfume or any other chemical smell would send my body into shut down mode. I'd lose my balance and get dizzy to the point of having to use a wheelchair. Even after all of my precautions I'd spend a week or a couple weeks recovering from that outing. I'm a mom of 3 and my life became just laying around and asking other people to help take care of my kids. I knew this wasn't all that was in store for my life but after so many doctors and specialists told me I had "hashimotos, Addison's disease, gastroparesis" and a myriad of other diagnoses I had given up hope. I moved my family back to where my parents are so I could receive more help. I had gotten to the point that I quit trying new doctors or new things that people suggest to me to try because I just always felt worse!
